RIP to him, but this guy was enlightened enough to know he should demand for a life jacket if he's to ride on a boat. Safety first, use a life jacket while on a boat or ferry, no matter how convincing the operator of the boat sounds, don't go on a boat ride without a life jacket if you're not a good swimmer |
illicit:Like their kindreds in Ondo State, communities in Àkókò Edo have distinct languages that varies from one community to the other, Yorùbá is just a língua franca in Àkókò land. For example, Epinmi Àkókò and Ishua Akoko are towns in Ondo state with a distance of less than 10 kilometers to each other but they speak different languages. while in Àkókò Edo wé have some communities that speak Ebira among other languages |
He isn't desperate but he came 3rd and he's claiming he won, he's been going everywhere breaking fast with moslems, donating boreholes to communities in the north. It's now he's realizing northern and moslem votes are crucial to winning the presidency, last time he thought only the south and Christian votes are enough to get to Aso rock but the realities in the 2023 failure is making him desperate by going to demographs he neglected the other time |

RIP, Sadly we live to die |
This should be downgraded to tremor |
Probably was killed because he recognized one of the kidnappers |
But I thought you guys are enjoying 24/7 power supply in Aba |
I am suspecting FG deliberately come up with this astronomical increase in tariff pretending it is for customers on Band "A" so as so test the waters. Anticipating a fight back by the people, they will slash the tariff to around 150 or 250 naira to appease the public but this time the tariff will be across board |
I was expecting the brothers to debunk the allegation by Wike that the land was approved for them for housing estate but they were selling it off plot per plot |
Let's be sincere here, if we want any semblance of stability in power supply, the tariff has to go up, but with a caveat: all customers have to be metered. Without a cost reflective tariff there will little or no investment in the power sector. |
Those who have ears, let them hear. And those who have eyes let them see. I have an aunt in her late 50s desperately trying to japa, a serving civil servant for that matter with a frail health. But to tell her all this will seem I'm discouraging her. What type of work does she think she can do abroad considering her age and not so sound health |
Melagros:Nigeria is not cursed by leaders only but with bad people, the guys up there that we refer to as bad leaders are once part of the people, only that they move up the ladder to leadership position. Change should begin with me and you |
softtorce:Most Lagosians are not indigenes of Lagos, so students in tertiary institution fill in their state of origin. When it comes to indigineship, Lagos has the smallest population of indigines. |
smokinloud:from one community to another in PNG, it's different language, and most of these clans live in dense jungles of the pacific islands. |
I doubt if this is Nigeria, the building block doesn't look like the type we use in Nigeria |
It's a day job to plaster a room for a master bricklayer and one laborer, a 3 bedroom flat will make approximately 9 rooms depending on the size of the palour, dining area and kitchen. The outer area can be equivalent to 5 rooms. So just approximate the whole of the building to 15 rooms, master bricklayer @ 10,000 per room and the laborer @ 5000 per rooms makes 15k Labour per room. Times 15k by 15 and you will get 225k for the whole building. You can negotiate with your bricklayer with this calculation on your head, If you negotiate well, this can be done for less than 200k. Note that Bricklayer and labourer rates vary from one area to another |
KingAzubuike:Even the fleeing members of the community under siege admitted that the soldiers were there on a peacekeeping mission and you are saying only a fool will believe the army narration. |
Airtel is fully back too, I can now log in successfully to all my apps |
They will steal from the commonwealth and make the masses to suffer, then they offer to give the masses a fraction of their loot as a gesture of philanthropy, the f**lish and impoverished masses will now be hailing them for their 'kindness' |
Security vote being drawn by governors is meant to be siphoned, that's why when I heard some governors saying they won't collect salary, I just laugh on the ignorance of those who hail them for the decision. Those governors will get 100 times of that salary from the security vote. One of the steps to reduce corruption is to abolish the so called security vote |
These smugglers are dangerous and murderous as they don't spare any informant either perceived or real, I was in the same Ado Odo years back driving around town when I realized I was being trailed by guys on motorbike, seeing a bike trailing me create fear in me thinking I am being trailed by robbers, I had to drive back to the town center, then these guys flag me down and ask me of my mission, I told them I am in town to attend a party, so they asked me the name of the celebrant which I did as the celebrant is a well known person in the town, they now let me go because they realized I am an innocent stranger. When I narrate my encounter to my host, he told me that the part of the town I was heading to when they started trailing me is a smuggling hub and there's a river nearby which is a smuggling route, and being a strange face in a strange car, I was taken for an informant or a security official on mufti. My host had to advise to be cautious driving around the town as I was lucky not being harmed before being challenged by the guys on motorbike |
Why are the indebted government agencies not metered? metering will go a long way to stop this level indebtness and enhance efficiency, but when the discos prefer crazy billing in the name of estimated bill rather than making sure customers are metered and pay according to consumption. It doesn't make sense when as a metered customer I consumed 2k worth of energy last month while my neighbour on estimated billing with less gadgets than me is billed 13k for same month. Seems the unmetered customers are paying for the discos inefficiency. To meter customers is now a challenge to discos, even if you want to pay to have the meter is still cumbersome and depends on availability. |
EnglandAmaka:you guys and propaganda, I hope after Otti's 8 years you will relocate to Abia state as it would have been another Dubai by then |
How are they sure his death was due to an adulterous wife, Africa with weird superstition |

It's already 8th of March 2024, the day Minister Bunmi Ojo promised that we are going to have our passport application processes done online: From application, capturing to delivery. I hope he doesn't derail from his promise |

adubam:My PFA too is Stanbic IBTC PENSION, and that's my experience in 2015. Maybe things have changed now. |
adubam:in my own case, it took my former employer nearly 2 months to respond to my PFA. Every time I reach out to my PFA on the reason for delay, the reply I got is that my former employer hasn't responded. |
