Mr G, unless you don't like it, you can patronise finely chopped tomatoes. That's what I use. Can't remember when last I made stew with fresh tomatoes. The headache is too much for me. Besides, English tomatoes are too English if you know what I mean grin
Thanks, madam. Will try to. I know I have some crushed, diced, and tomato paste cans. I will try to adjust because of late that I tried to make fried sauce for rice, I still get to use the food processor to quickly chop them when I can use the canned ones.

This wasn’t the planned design. After the first design, the cake fell; I had to fix the mess and I ended up with this

Here, we don't have many Costco stores, so the queue is one crazy one.

She should be her best in her studies. It necessarily need not be a First Class but she should come up with the best she is capable of.

Try Costco. The membership costs in the beginning but it saves in the long run. I have the executive membership and I get more than half my membership money back by the end of the year. So in truth I really pay like a regular member. Sometimes if I had a lot of shopping I needed to do that year, my membership ends up being free and everything is significantly cheaper if you measure ounce per ounce with other stores. Plus they have things you can’t find elsewheregrin

The downside is that everything comes in big sizes lol. If you don’t have enough people in your family to eat it, it might go bad. Just invest in garage freezers. I put two in my garage and nothing goes bad now unless I don’t want to eat it.

Let me tell you, Walmart eggs piss me off now. Talm about some $20 for the largest pack of eggs. undecided
Does Costco have the 5 dozen eggs? What I usually see at Costco is the 10 dozen ones in brown boxes and the 2.5 dozen. Will check when I go to Costco for shopping. Besides, one thing I like about Costco is that they sell box of tomatoes and bell peppers unlike Sams Club. Might drop my Sams Club membership but my challenge with Costco is the long queue for gas compared to Sams Club.

Interesting how people clamor for Atiku as president. Someone who is willing to sell the nation to his cronies. We deserve the leaders we get since we are not ready to elect those who can help ensure adequate systems are put in place to curb corruption.

They say the cost of chicken feed has greatly increased.
That may make sense but the rate is so much. Sooner than later, I may be forced to try vegan eggs for baking since it doesn't use real eggs.

We had scarcity of egg last month. Yeah, things are generally going up.
I guess it just seemed funny how price of eggs went that high relative to other food items. Chicken still sells around its usual price.

Have you tried blending it with turmeric and lemon and maybe a bit of honey if it’s too tart or too spicy for you?
It is good for the tummy. Blend it with small water, sift and take the liquid in small quantities. Great for the digestive system.

Hi Mr G,
What's the difference. Maybe it will make me start liking egwusi soup. I literally hate it. I have learnt how to eat rice with it recently here.
In this case, you use the egusi seed itself. You first toast it in a dry pan and then blend it and cook it like a tomato sauce. I think the smooth and silky feeling makes it taste buttery and not grainy as the grounded one feels sometimes.

PoliticsRe: Buhari Has Done Well For Nigeria – Soludo Hails President On His 80th Birthday by GboyegaD(m): 3:36pm On Dec 18, 2022
Anyone who hails president Buhari is a sycophant. I have read people hailing him for infrastructural development however, only the living benefits from those. He failed in security and providing an enabling economy this, increasing poverty.

As for the sincerity, I don't think he truly is. If he was, knowing he was incompetent at some point, he should have stepped down if he was truly sincere.

How I came to my conclusion shouldn't bother you. You should only be concerned about what is correct and what is wrong.

In the US you get a restraining order if you are stalking someone. You only go to jail when you violate an existing restraining order.
In the US, celebraties, politicians, and billionaires get stalked all the time and no one goes to jail.
There's no need stressing over this. Do have a wonderful Sunday.

I think all your relationship to the west came via action movies. And yes stalking is a crime.
For stalking, the person is normally given a restraining order. If he then breaks the other, he may be arrested.
Unfortunately, I mainly watch Nigerian movies if I need to watch movies. That said, I wonder how you came to your unfounded conclusion.

I don't know what you guys take the west to be. Do you actually believe that if one calls his girlfriend's boss in the US, he could go to jail?
Oga, I have lived in the West long enough to know what stalking is. If she claims she never gave the guy her bosses account and he got it because he's been stalking her, she wins. They will tell him not to come within a particular radius of her.

I have noticed most cases of child abuse is mostly common among igbo women.

It is just abnormal to treat children badly.

Just to add, what are the men in those houses doing, so they cant caution or call out their wives of these evilness
I put it to you that it is about the environment you live in. It happens everywhere in Southern Nigeria the only difference could be that some wickedness are extreme and that is why they are discussed.

Those abroad have their own responsibilities too. Interestingly, abroad, you pay monthly expenses ranging from rent/mortgage to car notes, daycare, and many more. The worst is that those in Nigeria feel those abroad live for them.
