My story is almost the same with urs but the difference between us was that she told me she had gone for abortion but later called me up to tell me it didnt fall thru. I initially didnt want to come back home but after much pressure frm my family i came back. My family stood behind me and took care of her during her first few months. She and my mum literally became 5 and 6 even till now. I came back when she was like 7 months gone and i have never made a better decision in my life. After much begging and petting my babymama accepted me back and our relationship has healed as a result. I think parenthood has changed us both and our outlook on life. Everyday i look at my angel Vannessa and i just smile. She's the best gift God ever gave me.

Lol same happened to my guy. Impregnated his gf, told her to abort that one no gree... After 3-4 months wey matter cast he want to deny, his mom Nd his sisters ,(he's the only male) disagreed saying they will NVR be in that plan with him. They even call on my guy father, he's not in good term with the popsi, he came too and disagree with my guy plan.... He even walked out from the meeting and asked them to let him know when he want to take responsibility... My guy don take responsibility now, the way he dey carry the baby girl everyone just dey look him say no b the pregnancy he once deny b this.... I recently applied to work in an organisation.

After passing the interview and checks, the management was impressed and decided to hire and give me a major role in the company.

When i asked about the payment for my position, they threw me a popular question;
HOW MUCH DO YOU THINK WE SHOULD PAY YOU?

I gave them a figure in mind, a little above what i got in my former job. Their facial expression was 'WoW'.

I started work on tuesday and after making friends and chating the secretary, i found out that i earn twice less than the staffs in the company in the same position.

Infact, i earn a little more than the gateman and cleaner. The secretary even earns more.

Its my fault, should have done some checks on the strength and salary structure of the firm before applying.

I feel discouraged. With this information, i won't be able fuction properly. Plus this secretary with her loud mouth will spread the news in the company, making me feel worst.

Anyone with this experience? Please console me.

Those days in university, before bank alert became this popular. Sending recharge cards is the way to send someone money. The recharge card will then be sold cheap. I remember mtn 1,500 Naira was bought for 1,200 Naira.

For more than 24 hours, my internet wasn't working. If I tried to check my data balance, it would bounce back. There was no notice of data exhaustion from my network provider.

So, I decided to recharge all the same. Then, my internet kicked in, meaning that my data had finished but my network provider (MTN) failed to notify me.

This has been happening on both my Airtel and MTN lines. Plus, the incessant fake data exhaustion alerts I get while my data level is still above 5GB.

Has it been happening to others? Or, is it only me? If it's happening to many people, there's need for an outcry. So, Nlfpmod please help.

NOTE: Any digression from the topic will be reported instantly because this is getting me really angry. These networks would frustrate me for hours before I realize what's going on.

Airtel has been useless lately. No service network always emergency call. When there's network, it will be poor for browsing. I'm tired..

Dear nairalanders, i need your sincere advice on this issue. I am the overall manager of a company. My boss ( the owner) uses divide and rule system. He likes people snitching on others. He has adviced me as the manager to adopt same system to get information about what's happening.

My concern now is that he doesn't probe me to speak about others but he probes others to speak about me. So far so good no scandal has been reported against me. I live above board with the fear of God to the best of my ability.

Each time he will tell me the workers said i dont take suggestions, i am harsh with them when they suggest. I know this is a lie on the part of the workers.

This is where i need your advice: should i confront my boss and ask why he is doing that. Why is he using them against me and not me against them.

This attitude is frustrating me. He is always confronting me with their very sentimental and subjective opinions. Meanwhile non is able to say any serious evil against. I know if they see they will definitely tell him . But non as at today.

Should i quit the job or just ignore

If u are in a toxic work environment pls protect ur mental state of health...

Life is like a seed when we water it very well.

Just like the story goes...I have personally sold soap and dried fish in Lagos state,in fact things were very bad for my parents in those days and I could also remember when my father was buoyant and financially capable. I sold fish at cele market called Odi eron and also sold dried fish around isolo area before God helped my parents to see me through my University education.

Today,I have ended their sufferings and subsequently brighten their face with the little I could offer and they are more than glad to move to into a new home for their retirements.

Finally,I want to urge u out there that is suffering today,that with determination and perseverance u can make it and turn the story of ur family around for the better. Just have that faith and see things turn around for good.

Good luck and make it a duty to make it and do not allow any distraction.

While going through school, I turned to alot of hustle just to keep body and soul...

I have worked in a block industry as a mixer Nd as a carrier. I have loaded all this long dyna truck packed with blocks Nd followed go site go offload. Also I have worked with all those local man wey Dey make blocks as a mixer. Countless times, I have fetch water used for making blocks or for site use...

Many times I Dey go clear/cut grass for site and also packing sand to fill newly contructed buildings for some raba.

Numerous times I have been a labor worker to masons on building site Nd I have also follow tillers go work as laborer.

I have worked in a printing factory where high security questions are printed like waec, neco, jamb(during those olden ppt days) where dem go lock person up for 3months or more depending on the type of exams going on with constant work day Nd night.

I have worked in a rental services loading chairs, tents and other equipment go locations set it up Nd pack it back after usage.

I have worked in a cassava processing factory. Sometime I peel cassava for little doe or work in sieving cassava for someone that will fry it.

I have also worked in the farm during those days wey my parent b farmers. We Dey grow crops to eat and also sell so I can tell u it’s somewhat a large scale stuff.

All these I stopped in 2020 after over 10 years, cos it had a toll on my health with constant back pain...
Thank God we didn't look like what we passed thru..

Now I dey enter bush to scout for product (charcoal) and resell in the city while also looking for other opportunities...

Brother don’t get yourself worried, depressed or worked up keep pushing, it’s just only rough but things go make sense. I applaud your effort for not indulging in fraudulent act. All the best man.!!!!
