What Russia is passing through with the sanctions are the price a country pays for being corrupt. Instead of their oligarch laundering trillions of dollars since the fall of soviet Union, they should have become so strong and unbeatable like the Chinese. China is basically sanction-proof. If it was China that went to war with Taiwan, the west will do nothing to them.

This is a case for Nigeria if our leaders have common sense. Because foreign enemies don't have your time now doesn't mean you're safe. Like the old saying, "in terms of peace, prepare for war". It is the student that study hard passes exam, not the one that was giving an exam without preparation.

China really planned well. I admire their leadership. Facebook, Google Wikipedia, YouTube, basically every western influence doesn't work there. They have the world largest banks, produces everything they need (except micro chips), and oil which they import from Russia and are working towards achieving their MIC 2025 goal. If they achieve that in 2025, then welcome a new super power. How can you sanction China when you owe them trillions of dollars?

But its a double edged sword. The west are gambling big time with these sanctions on Russia, as it tells every other countries to pursue total independence from the western system. The US have destroyed far more countries, but where is the sanction against it ? Russia is paying a price for all countries under western hegemony, and if it comes out triumphantly , it will glow. Most countries are silent because they fear the US, not because they see against Russia.
