No be today sha. Had several experiences

The most painful was a child who needed to be taken to a tertiary center for an urgent dialysis after he had been given nonsense native drugs (as treatment for a possible meningitis)that had knocked off the kidneys. The distance between my facility and the tertiary center was much and they weren’t mobile. The child didn’t have much time and if they waited to get a vehicle (which would have been almost impossible at that time), the child would die. I offered to take them with my car, a risky venture because my fuel tank was in reserve and I had planned on refueling the next day. Luckily we arrived the tertiary center on time and i helped in providing vital info to my senior colleagues at the center. The problem became payment for the peritoneal dialysis. They didn’t have enough cash at hand and were pleading that it be done as they promised to pay the next day. To make it easier I lent the relatives a small sum of 14k which I luckily had on me; he also promised to pay back the next day as I left for my facility which was unmanned all this while. Unfortunately my fuel wouldn’t take me that far as the car stopped enroute. I trekked at that odd hour for an unimaginable distance as I didn’t even have a dime to get a bike (that’s if I find sef) and finally arrived. Till date I never saw mr x neither did I see my money. Got his number, called him and when he heard my voice he dropped and barred my number. grin Well, i know not to do such things again. I was just a Corp doctor trying to help.
Oh my God . People are so terrible . Please don’t regret what you did, believe me it would come back good for you. You were amazing.

Romance › Re: I Haven't Been Myself Lately Due To Low Communication by Ginaz(f): 9:42pm On Nov 25, 2019
Awww I’m so sorry darling for your situation. Have you tried to talk to him the changes going on in the relationship? I suggest you should give him some space and have a moment to yourself alone to really figure out where he stands in your life honey.

You don’t have to kill yourself, you have done enough judging from what you have written so far . Now allow him to make moves to make the relationship work.

For the main time , find a new hobby , read books, go out , do things that get your mind off him. Never neglect you life in a relationship. Never never do that. Have something going on, be occupied with your life too.

Try to communicate with her physically. Technology have rendered so many people useless so much they can’t communicate one on one with their spouse.

Imagine if there was no WhatsApp eh you o.p? What would you have done? Look for other means you can substitute for WhatsApp . You can call her via phone call too. I don’t see any issues here.

Family › Re: My Dream As A Little Girl. by Ginaz(f): 8:45pm On Nov 20, 2019
Temitope009:
The Dream Of a Little Nigeria Girl.

As at the age of 9, I had a dream of becoming a medical doctor like most young lads. My dream was driven by my mum when as a child, I accompanied her to a relatives' occasion (wedding to be precise). She said to me, she is a "doctor", even though I couldn't grasp what it meant fully, I asked few questions and I immediately had the dream of becoming a doctor one day.

This dream was cut short as ABU did not offer me admission to study medicine and surgery 2 years on the row. Ha, I cannot come and become old in my Father's house o. I changed my course of study the 3rd year on the row to study chemistry and I was offered admission.

Before I was offered admission to study chemistry, I had a little drama with my dad the first time I told him I no longer wanted to be a doctor (this is another story entirely) and this isn't the aim of this story. Alas, I got admitted, and as a vibrant young lad, I had great hopes and aspirations.

Fast forward to all the rigours of school and all, I tried to ditch all distractions, with God's support, I graduated with a strong 2.1.

Immediately after graduation, I started powdered detergent production (I underwent some trainings beforehand). I named it RIAMA DETERGENT (in fact, I just sold out the sealing machine I used to someone yesterday). It came out very nice and foamy but alas, like every entrepreneur, so many challenges like drying and grinding, not having industrial machine to do all these process were great barriers. I soon got shortlisted for NYSC and I stopped.

Before the end of NYSC, I had put in for some jobs, reading, gaining skills on job applications and applying to any that came my way. I got married along the way, like 3 months before the end of NYSC. After NYSC, I still kept my hopes high and kept applying for jobs. I soon got a teaching position which I gladly took. I immediately enrolled for my PGDE program which I'm done with (with excellent results). Along the line, I had to resign for so many reasons (I was nursing a baby, running a postgraduate n lots more), I had to make a hard decision to leave when I was building my career (because I just got appointed as the assistant head department of my section).

Along the line, I had to go back to start working. Oh, how much applications I've written, I've written a hundred and yes, I know I'm talented, very creative, conscientious, very hardworking and positive result oriented. Alas, the labour market is still very competitive and I'm not expecting any less for a country of over 140 million citizens with growing number of graduates yearly.

These and many more are the little efforts I've made to achieve the dreams of that little girl (though even if not becoming a doctor, to at least become financially independent and not strain the necks of my darling husband as we still dey hustle.

In my own little capability, I launched my own branch few weeks ago (Rays Lounge Undies). From the stables of Rays Lounge of which I'm a proud brain behind, I've brought a solution to ladies lingerie problems..
I'm your personal lingerie shopper. Are you:
Suffering in the sun and still not finding what you want?
Do you have a particular lingerie you've been dreaming of having?
Are you on a budget?

You can bulk shop your favorite lingeries without having to stress all over in the market in futility.
For this reason, you as a
1. To be bride 2. Wife 3. Lady/Mother
Need my service like no other because

Being in the lingerie business to a while, I can proudly tell you I know the market and I can bring you the best deals.

Can you see how the dream of a little girl went from being a medical doctor to being your personal lingerie shopper? And no, I'm not more a graduate o, please send me to the market, now I want to be your number 1 lingerie shopper (my new dream). Please support this new dream to grow so it wouldn't die like my dream of being a medical doctor.

Family › Re: Help! My Husband Thinks I Spend Too Much by Ginaz(f): 1:53pm On Nov 20, 2019
I don’t know but I always have the gift of managing my resources very well. I can hold 1k for a week so far there is foodstuff at home and be able to make use of Till it expires.

I can manage , plan, make use of what I have to get what I want till the main time . It’s a gift I took from my mom. My mom would go to the market , buy bag of rice , bag of garri, soaps for washing , groundnut oil, milk and milo at great quantity , red oil , maggi, salt . Everything we have to use .

These items take time to run out cos they are in abundance and cheaply bought too. So we don’t have to restock every month thereby saving money that should have been used restocking to simply run other things in the house .

O.p I suggest you should buy things in bulks and you can go to villages too to get them cheaply. My mom gets garri from the village .

Try to manage . Account for every drop of money . It is not being stingy or poverty nonsense they say. Things are hard , you shouldn’t ’t make it harder that’s why you should learn to plan . That 30k is enough for two people if I should be honest .
Celebrities › Re: Alibaba Reacts To Queens College Student Who Fixed Lashes And Her Mother by Ginaz(f): 11:29am On Nov 20, 2019
But the mother and her child didn’t do well let’s truth be told.

I remembered my schools days with feelings of Joy. During my school days you dared not even be seen with a lipstick on. There was a girl who rubbed marykay on her face to school, our principle saw her and called her out to stand in front of the assembly. She used the white shirt uniform on the student to wiped off the marykay from her face and by the time she was done her shirt uniform was stained with muddy color and she was very ashamed to even come down from the podium.

Let there be discipline!!! At that age I knew nothing about lashes or nails . Children these days wanna grow before their time. What help would the eyelashes do for her in the class? undecided

She’s very stupid . If she were my child na seriou cane she go chop.

I hate chicken too. Only eat it when necessary and not much except my appetite wants it .

I hate pizza . I rather starve than eat pizza .
