The Madagascar tonic can be one of our options instead of rejecting it totally. Let us be sensible nah, if something is working somewhere, why can't we try it out. Am so sure that tonic is in Europe and America now but they will not come out to say it.

We Nigerians are too emotional. what we need is a solution, let us try it along with our local remedies and then find a lasting solution

But isn't this supposed to be the responsibility of the bank that opens its doors for business. It appears no one is interested in safety. Perhaps the goverment should sign a social contract with the people that it will not take responsibility for the fallout of bad behaviour and end all curfews and enforcements.

If Nigerians will not balance health and safety with welfare in a sensible mannerthe government cannot compel them to. This is the strength of our nation. This is who we are. They see goverment inactivity in some states they complain. They see over activity in others, they complain. Nigerians should be left to their devices abeg.
most Nigerians still think covid is an hoax and we may pay dearly for it in the long run

That's my problems with my igbo brother's brothers, when it goes around the rejoice and claim superiority, but when it comes around, they wail and play the victim.

Tomorrow, if Buhari should use executive order to seize their planes, trucks and houses, they would should UN, UK, Hague, etc., but when any of their heros use the same executive order to seize Hausa or Yoruba properties, they would become ecstatic with joy.
wike is a major pdp financier, no one including the pdp board of trustees can call him to order else he can seize all their vehicles too! grin

Christianity Etc › Re: If You Reopen Churches Coronavirus Will Vanish – Pastor Giwa Tells Government by Goke7: 7:54pm On May 07, 2020
LibertyRep:
The ball was set rolling yesterday and sure some other men of God will be emboldened to come out harder in the couple of days.

My take is that Government should act fast and call these people to order before they instigate their followers into going against the lawful directives .

Are the mosques open in this Ramadan period? Are the traditionalists also allowed to congregate? Making it look like the church is the target is a dangerous narrative that must be arrested before it consumes everybody.

Why isn't anyone even concerned about reopening of schools?
that was the agenda of the bishop, taking advantage of the social media to incite people against govt.

in summary Nigerians are so lawless including pastors who are suppose to be good examples

Every one of you speaking against Pastor Chris, God help you all. It reminds me of the story of the flood in Noah's days. Noah warned the people but every one of them called him a fool! Yet he was a man sent from God!! Eventually only 8 believed him got into the ark and was saved.. Even your unbelieving scientists have proof of this Bible story.. what am I saying? what you don't understand leave alone!!! Stay away from insulting Men of God!! All that you see is not all that there is!! Be wise.
go and develop your personal relationship with God and stop following mere men like yourself
Christianity Etc › Re: Bishop Oyedepo: It's Wrong To Allow People In Market And Not In Church by Goke7: 10:51am On May 07, 2020
Acidosis:
Seriously, if you were at Balogun market yesterday, you would understand the fact that the partial lockdown is meaningless. Absolutely meaningless!

Left that market at 3:30pm. Got to my destination (in the same Lagos state) at exactly 8:45pm. The traffic was crazy. The only thing that made sense in my view is the use of face masks. At least, 70% of the people had face mask.

If the church can enforce the use of face masks, hand sanitizers and temperature check, then the government should simply go ahead and lift the lockdown. It is absolutely meaningless keeping some industries and sectors inactive.
don't be deceived, no church will ever observe social distancing, its the same lawless Nigerians that go to church and not spirits
