oruma19: Jimi Agbaje will win Lagos state this year. pls dont quarel or abuse me, i am telling u reality. God works in mysterious ways, Lagos has been given to PDP in the spirit, it will manifest physically soon. This is the only way APC at the centre can work perfectly for the good of all. Bro relax, God is in control, He gave Nigeria to Buhari so that you and I can be relevant once again in the scheme of things, so also He has given Lagos to Agbaje to correct all the ills of Lagos. believe me, Buhari will do wonders in this his second term and Agbaje will give a serious competition in Lagos which in turn will make Nigeria as a whole better for all of us. it is dangerous to give everything to one party, lets be wise, we need competition. This is the same thing you guys told atiku and his supporters that is making them cry now feeling he was cheated. Pls stop the using the name of God to manipulate people cos you are going to hurt them more |
Politics › Re: The Grand Betrayal! How Tokunbo Afikuyomi Ganged Up Against Bola Tinubu by Goke7: 3:06pm On Mar 01, 2019 |
marv1: People always say things against Tinubu. Tinubu is force to be reckoned with when it comes to.politics. He is the one making sure APC is still together today otherwise greedy goons would have made the party to go underground. Tinubu is currently working on how Oyo will not be lost to PDP. And he is working hard for that because the current Governor has made a mess of the situation with his characteristic anti-people policy and administration. Or was it Tinubu that made Ajumobi to be arrogant, proud, and charlatan ?? Was it Tinubu that made Ajumobi to demolish Thinks Ayodele"s radio house in Ibadan. And several other arrogant gestures of the Gov that the people are ready to pay him back in his own coin
In ondo state the story is not different. You will recall that Tinubu never supported Akeredolu candidacy manipulated by the former APC national chairman but look.at what is happening today ondo state has is also on the Verge of being lost to PDP just because of s highly selfish and greedy Gov Akeredolu of ondo State.. The programs being enjoyed by the people like payment of WAEC exam fees for public schools Heath schemes and other programs that Gov mimiko started was stopped by the current Gov of ondo state. Now tell me how will APC not loose the governorship election coming up next year in ondo state going by what happened in ondo state in the presidential and national Assembly elections last week Saturday.
Or was it Tinubu that made gov Akeredolu to stop welfare programs for the people by akeredolu ? Was it Tinubu that made Aketi to be selfish and to promote ant-people programs. By next year when Aketi is not used as a party candidate people will not come online and say it's Tinubu that influence it to his candidate . Tinubu is a strong national leader with exemplary qualities that is rare. As at today if ApC does not do anything about Oyo and ondo states , that are as good as gone to the opposition. Dont' the ignoramus, they blame Tinubu for everything happening even outside Lagos. Telling lies everywhere that Lagos is under bondage. I wonder what they say of an Amosun who was once a senator, finishing two terms as a Governor and want to go and stay permanently at the senate now, they won't see that one, they won't also a david mark who has spent 20 years as a senator until now. They won't talk of all the ex governors who have made the senate their resting place now. It's all Tinubu Tinubu Tinubu everywhere as if he is owing their ancestors money. |

masseratti: I agree he pays his dues to traditional rulers, leaders in various communities, but where his power lies is the house of assembly, Lagosians can beat him to that, no way he will be able to put his boys all at the same time, if the people vote other parties, even the house assembly members are not popular, people don't like them, lets vote other parties into the assembly, APC can have the governorship, but we must get rid of the house assembly members that are just rubber stamp members, they are the ones he uses against any governor not serving his interests, Fashola and Ambode. Femi Pedro, Bucknor. vote in other parties, they will decamp to APC too, all the pdp members voted in in 2015 all decamped except one. Kulas: Let's all join hands and end one man dictatorship in Lagos. One man holding Lagos. I use to ask my Yoruba brethens to define democracy for me using Lagos State as a specimen, and many of then will after such question come and realize that truly they are practicing autocracy and not democracy.
The time to say NO and break Tinubu jink is NOW! contrary to what you people think, Lagos is still of the most democratically managed states in Nigeria. The ambode or Fashola crisis in another state would have set it on fire. The crisis is Ogun, rivers or other volatile states are nothing compared to the in-fightings in Lagos but it has been well managed over the years as the Party leaders always engage their people and settle themselves. Some hawks just want to lay their hands on Lagos resources spreading lies on how it's been managed, reason they continue to fail in their quest to wrest power from the ruling party. Obasanjo tried it, Jonathan tried it, is it when you have the mafia himself, PMB in abuja that they wan to succed this time around? kole werk |

celeiyke: Take it or leave it. Tinubu is milking Lagos, it is not about PDP or any party. If another party rules Lagos for 4 years , the party will have more achievements than all the years of Tinubu, Fashola and Ambode put together. Lagos financial dealings are more of a secret than any government in this country. you guys are liars, there is not better alternative to what we have in Lagos for now. The tinubu era has seen a lot of continued huge investments into Lagos especially with the Dangote Refinery ongoing, some folks are just bitter that they can lay hands on the Lagos Honey pot and will do anything including using and exploting the cosmopolitan nature of Lagos to unseat the ruling party but kole werk cos for PMB after the Preseidency, he can't afford to loose Lagos. It's a clash of big interests, but FG will have it's way. The osun and ekiti templates were not for joke o. Am sorry, we can't afford PDP's filthy hands on Lagos Treasury which we know it's their main target. |

This is politics, you have to make sure the leaders of the national assembly are 100% loyal. Folks like ahmed lawan have been tested but am sorry for now the ss who are decampees from other parties can't be risked now. This is second term and PMB must not have too much wahala from the National assembly. The ss can make with deputy for now. Nigerians must begin to underatnd that the President must not have too much ecumberances to his work. David Mark was a tested pdp man, hence he was a never a problem to Jonathan. PMB must have a senate President that must be compliant with him for effective delivery and not just for national quota sake. |

it's left to PMB to decide what he wants from the senate this time around, if he likes let him allow decampees again to be senate president and speaker all in the name of working with anybody.
He is safe in my opinion with an ahmed lawan as senate president and Gbaja as speaker who are core APC folks, instead of moles pretending to be loyalists who are not. I hope they learn fast from the saraki and dogara experience and avoid making APC in the morning and PDP at night leaders of the National Assembly. A word they say is enough for the wise |

shosky1794: Fun fact: in 2003, the vote in Ogun (Obasanjo's home state) was rigged so egregiously that it yielded an 86% turnout for the presidential poll (99.9% in favour of Obasanjo) compared to a 34% turnout for the Reps/Senate election a week earlier. Courts later nullified the result.
The appeals court annulled the presidential result just from Ogun State in 2003
Rivers State in 2003 recorded a 100% voter's turnout for the governorship election won by PDP. Guess who was the Vice President then? No prize for guessing you dey mind them, they are all claiming to be democrats now |

Sw need to get its politics right and stop fighting tinubu. For every agenda, you need a leader to spearhead it. I have profiled most sw big politicians, tinubu is still ahead of them. The more they fight him, the more divided they will be especially in other sw states apart from Lagos. Aferall the man is not contesting any office, na dem dey fight to become senators and governors.
Those who say it's the performance of the sw governors, I wonder what is the performance of governors in other regions where they give bloc votes. Am just happy osinbajo will use his 8 yes as VP and am satisfied with that. Whatever the sw wants to do from 2023, na dem sabi. Only one person can be boss at a time. |

CodeTemplar: Your brain must be liquid. Where did Oyedepo or Enenche directly or indirectly say we should vote Buhari out ?
It is Buhari who is the man of devil masquerading as a pure man. Leah Sharibu will now likely be in captivity for another four years. Herdsmen and genocide squads will resume their carnage. all because of people like you who decided to go after those who dare speak up against insecurity. Please don't defend these men, they did dirty jobs for the pdp. Oyedepo was present where atiku and obj reconciled [deception though] did oyedepo suddenly realised he had to reconcile them few months to election after their fight for how many years? who are they deceiving? pdp also officially started their campaign in Eneche's 100,000 capacity church auditorium, we saw the pictures. PDP tried so hard to sway all the christians to vote for them and they had these pastors to do the work for them. A lot of Yoruba people respect these men so highly and they took advamtage of that. They had their personal interests, no qualms but they also manipulated their congregation and their large crowd of followers hence the sw became confused and splitted their votes. Anybody underrating the influence of these men is not sincere and you are not God to predict what will happen in Nigeria in the next few years |
