I don't expect most Nigerians in the diaspora to hail PMB cos of his economic policies which are mostly not in their favour.
The days all sorts of monies fly out of our economy to them out there to sustain themselves after concluding that Nigeria is a shit hole are gone.
We need our money more here than out there, let them task the UK Govt. to address their issues more. |

I thought I was the only one who noticed this in the Rivers' Governor's interview, only ignorant peeps on nairaland takes Fayose serious.
Despite the perceived hatred for PMB by the south east, and south-south their Governors hardly takes swipes on PMB, they rather make overtures to PMB.
Why? PMB minds his business and does not bother them, Fayose is just a busybody |
Politics › Re: 8 Governors Who Have No Business Building Airports by Goke7: 11:14am On Mar 23, 2016 |
ifevictor: Most commentators on nairaland have refused to avail themselves of adequate information about issue before commenting. Nigeria considering it's present economic state has no need for new airports anywhere in the country. of all the existing airports, statistics have shown that only 3 are economically viable and sustainable. so why should they continue wasting taxpayers money on projects that aren't sustainable. Instead of those states forming regional collaboration to open their states by building high speed rail across their state that will be affordable and sustainable at the long run. Airports in ibadan, Akure, Benin, ilorin have not shown any sign of economic viability. Furthermore, considering the present purchasing power of a typical Nigerian, how many people have enough purchasing power to fly instead of boarding bus... Proper planning and critical analysis ought to have carried out before constructing huge projects and not just scoring political points at the detriment of more important areas of national life. Best post on this thread so far, most states in Nigeria have no business building airports simple. Nigeria is not as big as countries like US, Canada Russia and other very large countries in terms of size for us to be building airports in major towns or cities. What we need are good roads and high speed trains connecting most towns and cities. |

Chigold101: Goke7 there was a rerun like that of Rivers & Akwaibom in Sokoto & Taraba.
Lolzzzz my brother every Nigerian is complaining dont call a dog bad name to kill it.
Dele Momudu & Pat Utomi are not attention seekers they only voiced out the pain many leaders are afraid of talking about.
Even you as a person is silently crying in the dark only for you to come in the open to pledge ur loyalty. We must be able to say the truth at all times even to the poeple that we are loyal to. Tell Buhari the truth and make him see reasons this what i expect from all of u that are APC agents on social media. Buhari is gooofing without break. He has to take easy and have a rethink before Nigeria becomes Zimbabwe. election re-run took place in other states dear, do you know how many elections were cancelled? was there no re-run even in abia state? why are elections in the heart of the niger delta prone to violence is the question we all should be asking my dear. All what we are suffering now, we also suffered under GEJ, be it fuel scarcity, inflation, power cuts, terrorism, insurgency, fulani herdsmen and so on. Anyone saying that these problems were never there is a VERY BIG LIAR. Let's stop blackmailing PMB with Nigeria's problems of yesteryears because we want to continue to sympathize with GEJ |

Why dont you people keep quiet and tell bubu to resign if he cannot rule nigeria? bubu shall be your president till his tenure elapse unless you and your pdp goons are planning the unthinkable, tell your thieving heroes to return all our stolen monies and watch if the exchange rate will not bounce back and all other commodities. |

MIM77: After all, Nta the ICPC Chairman was Gej's boy and appointed by him. Who knows the game he is playing by concurring with his former boss. Corruption is the generic name of any deviation from normal norm and stealing is a specific name of taking what does not belong to you. Therefore, stealing is a deviation from normal norm i.e. stealing is an abnormal behavior, so stealing is corruption. they just think we no sabi english, no matter how hard they try, GEJ gave himself away as the most corrupt Nigerian President with that statement, he should be behind bars if not for political diplomacy |

Chigold101: how is fayose a big fool? Is he a fool for saying the truth? Even Buharists like Dele Momudu have come out to condemn Buhari‘s style of leadership.
Abeg ooo... Buhari is clueless, incomitent & so slow in thinking and action... It is not a secret anymore. how is fayose saying the truth? was it only places like bayelsa, akwa ibom and rivers that elections or re-run were held, were elections re-run not held in sokoto, taraba and other states, were there killings n those places too. fayose is pdp and no pdp member can say anything good about PMB so what's your stress, dele momodu is not getting the attention he wants just like pat utomi despite working for PMB's victory so what do you expect them to say. |

modath: I do hope my submission is satisfactory...
Illegal recruitment is part of the corruption that has eaten deep into our nation & I pray that the law is reworked to make it a crime & not a mere breach of procedure (as it is presently) .....
Min of Fin & Min of Labour should be made to take their positions publicly, CBN act or Not, it is still part of the Finance sector & Labour law too has been flouted somewhere along the way, it will be nice if we know where they stand...
I felt bad for this nation when I learnt EFCC & INEC get lists from NASS to fill open (undeclared & unadvertised) slots!!! Talk about conflict of interest...
The journey is long, arduous & frustrating but I believe one way or the other, WE WILL GET THERE.. @the bolded, yet somebody will come and blame PMB for this too |
Politics › Re: Why Is PMB Still Silent Over The CBN Employment Saga? by Goke7: 9:51am On Mar 23, 2016 |
PMB haters just continue to irritate us with their useless rants, these cbn recruitment scams have always been there, I have an aunt who works in cbn even as a senior staff, she said she doesn't even know whenever her organisation [cbn] is recruiting, that's how bad it has been. I also have a very close father-like person who just retired recently from cbn as a deputy director who told me startling revelations about the scam that goes on in cbn, I can't say everything here but I can say one that during the former administration, a list of people who were to be employed came from madam peace [GEJ's wife]. He said these guys were interviewed and documented same day which was contrary to their operations which made all of them at cbn so startled, he went on to say that what emeifele did, sanusi did his own too so no be today.
Blaming PMB for the cbn scam is the height of utmost foolishness, we should be praising the present FG that all these revelations are now coming out. |

rottennaija: In Nigeria, stealing and corruption is one and the same thing. Both is working against public interest and must be stopped by all means necessary.
Stealing is now corruption... PMB
Why is it that every single topic that may make front page is filled by those that either they cannot offer any sensible comment or just comment to tongue lash this administration? It seems to be the latest tactic of PDP and wailers Don't be surprised, pdp is only trying to save its battered image by tongue-lashing the present FG and also trying to launder the ugly image of Jonathan, hence the reason for a thread like this. Don't expect anything good comment about PMB from pdp fans even if he tars the entire road in the south east. Their strategy is play dirty and try to get back into aso rock by 2019 or else pdp will be awaiting final burial by then. |
