In English as a subject, registers are terminologies associated with a particular field of endeavour or profession. Eg, in aviation, you have words like; air crew, cockpit, runways etc. I knew this as a JSS 2 student.

As long as the insurance agent is educated, yes he is qualified but the question how highly qualified is he? Because rem you are not competing with Nigerians but with Indians, Chinese and every other nationals immigrating to Canada, so a first degree along will not cut it for EE, aside from age factor and the need to write IELTS. Now there are other routes to come into Canada, agriculture, sch, care giver etc, now needs to research extensively and decide on the right path for himself, I have more than 2 degrees and I was younger and with over 7years working experience in Nigeria, so the EE path worked for me and I'm here.
I met a Nigerian lady who came in as a caregiver years ago, that was the path, today she runs her business as massager, and has bought a house, you might think, ordinary massage o, I paid her $105 for one hour deep tissue massage, but guess what, na handy work dey pay well here.

Don't play yourself bro, Canada has a path for trades such as carpenters, plumbers, painters, roofers ,electricians and all. Just that the people in these trades esp in Nigeria are not aware and even when they are, most of them didn't go to approved schools or skill centers to earn certificates that can be verified by Canada immigration,. You know most of what we have here are boy boy who learnt the skill and settled by their oga, no valid certificates.
These trade guys are richer than bankers here in Canada, including mechanics too

I was discussing with a plumber friend that was working in my house yesterday and he is now realising this fact that they can make more over there. So for such a person, there must be a certificate of training?

Secondly, someone who has worked as an insurance agent for some years, can he move to Canada via the EE?

Was usually going for sleep overs at her place.

Worked as a relationship officer with a bank, but recently worked as a senior financial advisor with an insurance company owned by a first generation bank.( Was there for over 4 yes)
Resigned last year and started my business. Now when applying for EE, what are my chances, considering my job experience. Are there any province looking for guys like us?
