If you slammed the door in church, and someone mentioned something about not slamming the door in the presence of God, what is wrong with that correction? Must all correction in church premises be about heaven and hell, or sin? The FACT has been stated, and it is that most people consider crossing the legs wrong in this part of the world. The leg crosser in front of superiors is often considered as lazy or proud. It's similar to putting legs on the table, or even flatulence. It's general etiquette over here.

This topic can only be argued 'scripturally' or 'logically'.

Scripturally, we do not have anything against someone siting and crossing legs while in worship place. If a man does it, it might not be an issue but because it's a woman, now it's an issue. This is nothing but tradition - that is, if it can be done in one part of the world but cannot be done in another part of the world. That is not the gospel - whatever you can't preach anytime, anywhere is not for the universal church. Jesus and the Apostles warned against traditions of men.

Logically, what is the explanation that crossing legs in worship place(s) is wrong?

1. Is it that it offends another person? If it offends another person, how?
2. Is it that the lady who crosses her legs closes up properly or opens up carelessly? which one?

If we are going to explain why it is wrong to cross legs in worship places logically, then we must explain or give the reason(s).

I'm saying scripture (for the christian) is undoubtedly of divine inspiration it is also and equally of human composition, composed for a specific congregation in a specific generation - there is inevitably cultural bias (for lack of a better word). It is a living document, whose principles (and not the culture/time/event-specific actions) can be applied across time & circumstance. My answer for commands such as Paul's, we would need to draw back the cultural garb to the heart of what he was truly intending to address - displaying appropriate behavior wherever you are at.

My sister, I have stated my point/stand on women issues here in the past as taught by Apostle Paul in the scriptures. The teachings of Paul on "women covering their hair" "women not speaking in churches" "no remarrying unless other spouse dies" "women not wearing jewelry" Etc.

The most controversial of them all is women not speaking in churches. Apostle Paul NEVER said women should not speak. It is women 'defining' biblical teachings that Paul wrote against. If Paul is saying 'keep quiet', it will then mean women cannot lead prayer, sing, pray, give testimonies...etc all these acts involve 'speaking'. So to say that Paul meant complete 'shut up' by women in worship places is outright heresy.

Covering of head, not hair - the woman's hair is given to her as a cover for her head.

remarrying - there are biblical ground for divorce if it comes to such issues. Marriage should be enjoyed not endured.

wearing of jewelries - there is no such thing that women should not wear jewelries. Moderation in all and not to depend on such adoration by jewelries for the beauty. It's the inner beauty that should be of more importance but He doesn't outrightly condemn wearing jewelries. Besides, being to expensive etc. Abi you, my sister no dey do small or light makeup and jewelries ni.....

If a woman crosses her leg in worship place, it doesn't offend anybody neither does it offend God and I don't see why we are making issues out of this irrelevant matter.
