Growing up my mom has a shop, attached to our house,she sells soft drinks, groceries, biscuits etc,all our tenants patronised her ardently, unless she doesn't have what they wanted to buy.
Now that I'm working and earning my own money,I do wonder if she ever made profits then because if we need anything,we go to her shop and take it. Chai bless you mama.

I have been listening to rap music religiously before you were born,I remember saving my pocket money to buy " I am: The autobiography" in late 90s. I have hard copies of rap albums that I bought before you could utter a word son,I am an old G son.

Op,I don't believe you ever received salary for a particular month on the 15th of that month. It's not reasonable and it's financial suicide. If it was 20 plus days of the month,it's still okay.
Paying salary for April 15 days to the end of the month is not good for workers especially those in the lower grades.

I agree with most of your points except for the sexual morality aspect. Which countries in Africa are as morally depraved as the Americans or Europeans? They start relationship as early as possible with the consent of their parents, cigarettes and alcohol are seen as normal pleasure for those who are adults i.e 18 years+. Yet that didn't stop them from being world powers or creating great technological inventions or achieving academic prowess on different areas of life.
They have boyfriends and girlfriends at early age,they smoke,they drink alcohol but they are honest in business dealings and their citizens love their nations,and they have leaders who value life greatly.
Unlike us in Africa especially Nigeria,where sex is seen as taboo, cigarette and alcohol are seen as vices,but we are scammers and fraudsters, dishonest individuals,from children to teens to youths to the elderlies. We can do anything for money, irrespective of who gets hurt. We are religious but hypocritical bunch.
