PoliticsRe: Facebook President Goodluck Congratulates Uti Of Bba5 . . . by Guk: 1:58pm On Oct 19, 2010
I beg to disagree and this is my personal assessment as we saw on TV, Uti was abusive; disrespectful; uncouth; ill mannered amongst others which singing the national anthem and holding the flag does not erase.

He has won, good for him, i wished him to win because he's nigerian but that i would congratulate him and use the phrases used by Jonathan face book page? NO!

Jonathan Facebook page is what you call a "Spin" & u need not lse sleep over it. Such pages are usually run by dedicated assistants & they report back to him on what he wants to hear.

You dont run a serious organisation on social networking sites, talk less a country.

For keen observers, you would notice that output from GEJ's facebook page is tottally different from his real work life outputs and statemnts.

The facebook page is just to make you social networkers busy and distracted from the real deal.

His facebook page also gone to expose his inadequacies as an experienced administrator who has years of experience in a standard work environment,

But for those who like their ego to be massage by flowery words on FB pages, good luck to you

PoliticsRe: Does Jomo Gbomo Really Exist? by Guk: 3:08pm On Oct 06, 2010
This is as simple as ABC!!!

At some point MEND asked Wole Soyinka et al to discuss on their behalf with the Federal Govt. I doubt if Soyinka will take such a brief through email only. They must have met with at least one person represnting MEND and he did not go to ASO rock representing any of these names been bandied around like Boyloaf & co. And for Soyinka to accept, he must have communicated with people with real agenda so why is there silence about those real MEND people that Soyinka represented who are also claiming this bomb blasthuh

Customer Service & using initiative is ZERO when it comes to a large percentage of the service industry in Nigeria.

I received a Text message from Aero Contractors that my 19.10 flight from Abuja to Lagos had been cancelled for operational reasons & i
was moved onto the 20.05 flight. On taking off, the cabin crew started selling in-flight snacks & i mentioned to the lady who came to serve me that it was insensitive of them to cancel my flight, inconvenience me, make me change my plans & NOT FEEL THAT THEY SHOULD COMPENSATE ME WITH SOMETHING A meal of Sausage rolls & Water costs =N=250. Is that too much to give free of charge to Inconvenienced passengers??

We are too often taken for granted in Nigeria & i have officially communicated my fellings to the Airline & am awaiting their response.

"My Problem With Instalmental Payment For Land" means, his own personal opinion, which he is entitled to.
"Why I Will Never Endorse It" is also his own personal opinion, which he is entitled to. If his opinion changes in future, i hope he will refer to his earlier position.

@Lawyer, what did you expecthuh that others will seat down and watch you rubbish their profession and goodwill which they have built over timehuh Expect more flak man.

@youngichou, should i condemn a good gesturehuh
Christianity EtcRe: Rccg Donates $50,000 To Haiti by Guk: 2:09pm On Jan 18, 2010
In developed countries like UK; USA; Canada & such like, it is expected that donations you make as a charity is
a collection from people and that is why you see their collection envelopes in church defining what monies you
are contributing. Because of the emergency RCCG pulled the money out of its account & it is expected to be returned.
Its as simple as that.

This coming sunday, all RCCG parishes nationwide are expected to raise an offering for Haiti and for those who do not know,
RCCG had set up a Parish in Haiti 15 or so years ago where professionals like you gave up their jobs to go and evangelize in
one of the poorest and most fetish countries of the world.

There's always 2 sides to a coin, it just pays to be objective. RCCG, good luck to you for this gesture and others you do that we know
not off. RCCG, watch out for worldly vices that can creep into your mission
PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Interviewed By BBC: He's Alive Afterall! by Guk: 7:05am On Jan 12, 2010
Honestly, its not his conversation with BBC or whoever that matters to us now. What matters to Nigerians is for him to HONOURABLY handover to his V.P, take good time to recover his health and come back whenever to take over from his V.P.

Is that so much to ask forhuh? With his current (in)action, he has lost credibility, he has lost respect & he has lost sympathy

PoliticsRe: Yar'adua Signs Budget From Sickbed by Guk: 6:52pm On Dec 29, 2009
This shows clear insincerity on the path of Yar Adua, it shows he has no honour or even integrity, what he needed to sign was a Letter handing over to his V.P. even if its for a period of 6 months, that way, he will be respected and will be welcome back as a reasonable man when he gets well, NA WA O!!!!

PoliticsRe: Why We Hate Nigeria So Much - By The Diasporians A.ka. Nigerians Abroad! by Guk: 12:03am On Nov 03, 2009
Nigerian Diaspora commission is simply trying to adopt the model in the Oil industry which is Crude Oil is taken from here; shipped abroad & brought back as Refined Products at Exorbitant price for which the govt did not contribute to the refining process, so a Nigerian goes abroad & returns as PREMIUM motor spirt for which his development abroad was never contributed to by the Nigerian govt cheesy cheesy cheesy
PoliticsRe: Why We Hate Nigeria So Much - By The Diasporians A.ka. Nigerians Abroad! by Guk: 11:52pm On Nov 02, 2009
@Beaf, 25 of my post graduate years has been given totally to Nigeria, if thats not dying for 9ja, tell me what it is?? what has 9ja returned to me Nothing, but rowing against the tide.

@Kobojunkie, if the question is not necessary at this time, when will it ever behuh & when ever you feel its necessary, pls answer the question with reasons.

@Beaf, dont we too rise to levels that we lead & manage teamshuh Way back in 2001, i had an interview for a job at Coventry, the interviewer was amazed that someone out of Africa was such a subject matter expert. I sat in a training in London 5 years ago & 2 Oyinbo participants at the end of the course, when asked what they were taking away from the course mentioned a particular methodology we developed in our office here in 9ja, Guess what, they will package it and come and sell in 9ja & Nigerians will pay $$$$ for it meanwhile it came out of Nigeria, so am saying in short is, (1) Disapora did not make me neither did 9ja, i chose to utilise the materials at my disposal to make life bearable for myself, so because you come from abroad doesnt necessarily turn you into a superior being. My worklife in England just reinforced my work ethics and practice & i cld therefore achieve a lot as planned.

Should we also just accept it that all Diasporans are Leaders and Managers of team & men because they crossed some borderhuh

Nigeria is an ever growing abyss. thats wot them Abike have failed to accept but wld rather go on an aimless journey. Pls do not be suprised if her committee decides to visit all the countries that we have Disaporans in, which in turn translates to estacode.

We r a pple without numbers who do not know how to rely on numbers. Even our population range is in the magnitude of tens of millions. Any developed nation thrives on stats. How else do u measure development. Yet we know not even how many we are - the basics.

I liken 9ja to be like one in a hole. Rather than trying to figure out how to get out of it, we are trying to figure out how to be comfortable in it even though the hole is dynamic in the fact that it is getting deeper

In 9ja, Children and adults who have no future, see no future and worse still, dream no future. What are a people without a vision, without a dream, without a goal.

SO, WHETHER U R DIASPORAN, OR LOCAL, U CANNOT FUNCTION IN AN ABYSS. Its that simple
PoliticsRe: Nigerians Should Stop Moaning And Roll Up Their Sleeves by Guk: 11:22pm On Nov 02, 2009
Let me share this frightening statistics with u.

In 2003; 1.4 m pple write SSCE in May/June every year, less than 400k have 2 or more credits, of the remaining 1m, about 300k retake.

Of the remaining 700k, about 200k take to Okada riding and menial jobs.

About 500k disappear into the society, they are not in sch, not learning a trade and are not working. Question is, what are they doing?

In 10 yrs that will be 5m pple aged btw 18 & 30 doing nothing. This is 2009, so we are talking about 3m idle pple

Whats the population of Togo or Republic of Benin?

From the above, you can figure out the likely future of 9ja
