Reference: Disgraceful defamation of our deceased heroes. They fought fearless and fell that we could live. Now their seeds are fighting to save the life of those that fall out of fear. Shame. One matured comment! Discerning minds know it's just a fallout of fatal choices of who fills what position. Defence Ministry now for the feeble-minded. |

Very pertinent. Above all, Nigerian youth right from here nairaland (and the masses in general) must begin to thoroughly sensitive themselves as to how best they can change the system, their ignorance being an integral part of the mess we are suffering from. |

Aloodunayo: That makes me wonder how our mainstream artistes are makin their income with piracy at its height in d country? Everyday,we hear news of em buying houses in lekki, buying exotic cars, etc apart from record sales, how much are they collecting for shows To be honest with you, it could be very scary for those venturing into music, talent or no talent. For every single successful star artist you see out there, there are thousands that are equally good that are still battling to come to limelight. Piracy's become one of the obstacles they've got to surmount, before they see their incomes, esp those successful. |

franchizy: For a benefit of doubt, let me say the whole truth: His Excellency Dr. T. Orji has not rehabilitated or constructed any major road in Aba. He also has not empowered nor engaged youths of Abia state in any skill Acquisations nor so far created a single employment for any Abians. He couldnt even construct any health centres in any of the Local Govt. Areas in Abia state. There is no water scheme project going on anywhere in any of the Rural areas in Abia state nor construction of any modern primary or secondary schools across Abia state. Gov Orji is d only Gov who unverifiably claims in the media to have increased teachers and civil servants salary with prompt monthly payment of salary. During the last meeting of the South East Governors, our able Gov Orji was voted the worst SE Gov of the year m I think all dis useful nairaland comments and criticisms are just confirmations. His Excellency Gov Orji will always remain focused on by and never be free unbiased criticisms. The PDP led administration in Abia state under Gov Orji have realy brought Abians to the despondency and chaos. I urge All well-meaning Nigerians to support the good works of die-hard critics of the incapable and visionless Gov His Excellency Dr T. Orji. . . . Now this's more like a statement of fact! I guess someone should maybe open a fresh new thread to do proper justice to the subject matter of Gov Orji's failed regime and his media propaganda machinery! |

Politics › Re: Nigeria Wont Break Up - Jonathan by Hardfact: 4:52pm On Jan 14, 2013 |
Gbawe: Put your thinking cap on and not your 'I-support-and-defend-GEJ-blindly' googles. That is not figure of speech. It is dull intelligence clear for all to discern. How can anyone fluidly up to speed with modern thinking, let alone a President expected to be wiser than others, suggest length of time as a supremely superior reason as to why arrangements and affiliations should not end?
Guy, our President simply goes everywhere sounding like a simpleton thawed from a block of ice frozen in 1945. I too believe in the unity of Nigeria but Mr.President should make cogent arguments everyone can relate to - whether the PHD holder or the Okada rider - devoid of any sentimental or unintelligent reasoning. There are many reasons Nigeria should stay together but age of the Nation ranks low in that regard and Mr.President can easily take a lesson from many examples in history that negates his simplistic rhetoric if indeed he is like other President who appreciate history and learn lessons from it. Hmm! That is my Gbawe talking. All the same I think what he was trying to say was, we have been together too long/have come too far not to part ways so easily. And GEJ has got this problem of not being able to articulate his views properly. |

ANYWAY I WENT TO GO VISIT THEM ON THE WEEKEND FOR TWO DAYS IN ABEOKUTA. ANY SO I ASKED MY FATHER,WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE IS GOING TO TAKE PLACE IN THE NEXT ELECTIONS.
HE LAUGHED AND SAID:WELL JONATHAN HAS ONLY GONE FOR HIS FIRST TERM,AND WE ALL KNOW HE IS GOING TO RUN FOR THE NEXT TERM,AND THAT PEOPLE SHOULD STOP DECEIVING THEMSELVES THAT,IT'S OBVIOUS HE IS GOING TO WIN THE NEXT TERM.AND HIM BEING ONE OF THE WISEST PEOPLE I KNOW,I TAKE EVERY SINGLE WORD SERIOUSLY.
KNOWING MY FATHER WHO'S NOT A STRONG CHRISTIAN,HE SAID SOMETHING TO ME THAT I AM STILL CURIOUS UNTIL TODAY.HE SAID ALL DOES LEADERS THAT SAY GOD'S NAME IN VAIN( THAT ARE DECEIVING US),THAT IT'S SAME GOD GOD THAT WILL PUNISH THEM VERY SOON.
HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT THE ONLY WAY TO GET INTO GOVERNANCE IS THROUGH WITCHCRAFT.AND HE SHALL KNOW BECAUSE HIS BEEN WORKING WITH THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT HIS WHOLE LIFE(NOT WHAT YOU THINK)HE WAS NOT IN THAT TYPE OF(WITCHCRAFT) GOVERNMENT.
HE TOLD ME THAT NIGERIA EVEN IN ONE HUNDRED YEARS WILL NEVER HAVE STABLE ELECTRICITY.UNTIL A VISIONARY PERSON BECOMES IN POWER. Well noted. It all again boils down to the fact we've got a long way to go. When the elders talk we dont take 4 granted. |
