Piracy threat in Nigeria music industry is real indeed, esp for those artists who are still trying to find their feet. Unfortunately powers that be seem not to give a damn about it. |
Nice topic. What about likes of Paul Play, Faze? |
Hmm! Wetin dem say make I talk? Is this another sign of Dbanj's souring career, going to the next level or what? But something keeps telling me we may be in for some unpleasant surprises wrt the duo, esp Dbanj. Meanwhile, fingers crossed even as events unfold. NB: I'm not a hater, but a fan, and lover of good music. |
Hemanwel: Let's use WEIRD MC as case study. You don dey mad abi. Na so your mouth bad reach? Wetin she do you sef? Abeg make you just change this your take! |
No big deal. It's a matter of choice. Fashion was made for you, not you for fashion. **By the way, I like your English** |
Hmm! All these PDP dem haters. Abeg leave dem joor, it's all a "family affair" (abi familiar affair?). They'll soon settle it as brothers and sisters. |
Zikdik: Most Pentecostal Christians have formed an habit of shaking their heads and other body parts vigorously while saying their prayers.Sign of desperation/aggresiveness of some sort, in exercise of faith and determination to have their prayers heard/answered. A good xtian counsellor should explain better. |
Man should visit Psychiatrist!!! |
Arysexy: Idiot! wot has ur ACN govnor done for u? bad belle and jealousy go kill u!What will this your partisan/tribal angle achieve for you? Or will it hurt to see your beloved gov work even harder, and achieve even more for your people? |
patrick89: yes wen u must have gone to all these places i mentioned. Becos i undastand dat u reasn through the anus' go to all these places and see if u wil encounter any mobility difficult like pool of water acros d road or big pot holes!Hey Dude, and above all, do these 'roads', the quality of work, the ruggedness, the thickness, do they look something cut out to withstand the test of time, cause as I'm aware Anambra is a state that's got history of such fake projects: substandard roads that quickly develop all manner of faults not too long after the contractors have gone[/b] , even Obi's first four years shows this. |
van bonattel: The whole roads Obi built in Anambra are piss poor ........single ......one car pathways from Nise till some parts of Nnewi and people are clapping........go to uruagu Nnewi .....on the left hand side on the road to oba.......very thick jungle......thousands of houses with no roads to go there.......Ebonyi and Abia state is better than that town by far.Very good observation. Those are what only discerning minds would see, while the empty heads will be moving round in a circle, same spot, and telling the world that they are making good 'progress', which only confirms we are doomed as a people. If our col masters took same fakeness approach to projects, . . . People should learn to keep politicians on their toes, not deceived by their fake/substandard 'projects'. As usual many of those 'roads' will have depreciated to zero level by the time the gov has gone, and the people'll still be begging for good roads, back to square one. |
Those in their comfort zones will dismiss that as being unduly emotional or curious. . . . . But go, may be go to the streets, shanties, ghettos, slum, . . .go and ask them - the weak, the poor, the downtrodden, defenceless, ask them . . . (It was they that were being talked about when it said "I was hungry, you gave me no food, was na.ked you didnt cloth me, . . .") |
Rochas, the more you look, the less you see. Some govs will rather live in the news than leave the news and get their a.s.ses to go work. Isnt Nigerian state bad enough for a right-thinking leader to know what best to with his time and resources while in office? |
jmaine: Blatant hypocrisy on display . . . .Patching na PatchingAfter much publicity and media hype, the hard fact is the work may not even stand the much needed test of time. |
watchinglagos: Lagos Public Works Corporation Fixing Navy Town RoadCritical factors. |
@Pagan 9ja, if what you say is the case, then it's most unfortunate for those MNLA seeking freedom. Reminds me of the Nigerian situation where various groups remain tied in a country that seem destined to never work, even as the most favoured keep screaming "one Nigeria". Freedom you know can be so elusive, difficult to achieve! |
One sad thing about many of these so called road construction works completed/on-going is that the works if not abandoned, are substandard and the roads were never meant to last in the first place. Interestingly some of them are already returning to the bad shape in which they were, even as the politicians continue to tell how much 'work' they have done/are doing. |
Dede1: If the so-called Malian rebels are fighting for an independent nation out of Mali, the moronic jerks such as French and other Africans should stay away from the debacle. The people fighting for independence have every right to do so. I will always support the deconstruction of 1884 European partition of Africa. Is that really the case? |
Time for go.ofed Mali rebels to know what it's like being up against what's beyond them. They'l have to regret unecessary delay. |
Funny, but with harsh Nigerian realities embedded! |
. . . . “North ought to hold political power, but the North now is nothing in Nigeria. The economic power is the West, whether you like it or not. Take the statistics of the banks in this country, the financial houses, the corporate organizations; tell me who manages and who owns them. “The commercial activities in this country are in the East. In my own local village, we have energetic boys, but even if it is anything, it is from the Igboman that I get it".. . . . https://www.nairaland.com/1151948/north-ready-chase-jonathan-out/ http://www.ngrguardiannews.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=109595:north-ready-to-chase-jonathan-out-of-power-in-2015-says-arewa-patriots&catid=1:national&Itemid=559 |
Critical Question! Ans: Presidency |
Yes, Onlytruth gov Obi is "building" roads. Feelers have it that when gov Obi finishes "building" a "new" road today, tomorrow morning uncountable pot holes appear on the "new" road. |
What parameters they may be, I dont know. But one thing is clear - despite Nigeria's superabundant oil wealth , there are a good number of Nigerians whose living standard is nothing, but next to hell! Evidence of Nigerian govt super- massive looting and gross mismanagement! |
anulaxad: THIS IS A MAN THAT HAS LIVED FOR EVERY GENERATION THERE'S HAS BEEN PRESIDENCY IN NIGERIA.Do you mind sharing his views. What kind of expectations/predictions, being curious? |
Foxy_Rebirth: ENJOY.... FELT I SHOULD SHARE ITGBAM!! |
They should remember to take the vows at the shrine of Sango or Okija Shrine, just in case they are tempted to renege, to make it super effective. |
