I just accepted it. Once you know your problem, it's easy to develop coping mechanisms. Make lists, keep reminders etc. But what helps is having people who share the same goals, values around you who also care about your welfare.

And I don't make that mistake of thinking my brain works like everyone else's. If not you'll get frustrated as you won't be able to function the same as others who are normal.

But medication is a big game changer. It actually works. Inshort you might even cry after commencing meds since it's like wearing glasses for the first time after a lifetime of severely blurred vision. I don't use it though. Prolonged use can Bleep up your heart and I have a family history of heart issues. Others report mood changes and depression or psychosis after prolonged use.

First see a good psychiatrist to get assessed for a diagnosis. Other conditions can mimic ADHD. Like anxiety disorders.

ADHD. I need feedback and reminders to keep my attention on a babe. If not I’ll just forget after a short period of no contact.
