Nigerians also can marry using customary laws and under the shariah law, they can marry as young as 10yrs and they commonly do it on the north. Until the constitution is amended, the age of consent in Nigeria is debatable and subject to interpretation in the court. However, these has to do with marriages generally. In Europe, the lowest age of consent is 14yrs so don't assume once you are not 18 then you can't have sex. Also, if the girl is 14yrs and the boyfriend is 16yrs, the gap is small and in most countries, you can't prosecute the boy for rape because the difference is not much. In Australia, even if the girl is 14yrs and she is having sex already, we only need to ask wether the person is her relative or teacher or someone with authority over her. Once that is not the case and the gap is not much in terms of age, you can't prosecute for rape. Go and find out these things
