Not all Black Amazon employees are low on the totem pole. There are a large number of Blacks in IT, HR, and upper management in all divisions. If you look on one of their company diversity pages, you’ll see the same. The US government has a healthy population of Blacks on a GS level that exceeds $100k per year. Various other companies have the same. There are guys here on Nairaland exceeding $100k per year. I live in a subdivision that’s about half Black and because of the prices, I have no doubt that either one or both of the homeowners have salaries at or above that amount although there’s a large number of single homeowners. And my subdivision isn’t an unusual case. No banks will extend $350,000-$750,000 mortgages to individuals earning less.
That’s not the only factor at play. Many things make the numbers totally believable.

Show me directly on census website, not a blog where it said 24pct American individuals made over 100k in 2020.

The math is quite easy.
•The total US workforce is 164.6 million people.

•60.5% of the total US workforce is Black

•Of 164.6 individuals in the [b]total[/b]US workforce, 24% earn at least $100,000 per year

•18% of Americans in the workforce who earn $100,000 or more per year are Black Americans.

This is not sounding right. 24pct American individuals made 100k and above and 18pct of this are blacks?

If you say 24pct of total workforce, we can make quick inference that 24pct is almost 25pct. Which will mean 1 in 4 workers in the US is making 100k and above. This is not the reality on ground. Amazon and other big number employer cannot even boast that 1 in 4 of their workers earned over 100k and above.

Until appropriate authorities like IRS, SSA, DOL provide similar data, I doubt the authenticity of this.

I wanted to check if they provide percentage of blacks making 100k and above within only black population and within the entire US population. But I didn't find it there.

We all can only assume from this point. Our assumption might be right or wrong without trusted data to support it.

We don’t have that information however I doubt that that number is minuscule. Let’s face it, post-pandemic, even garbage men in NYC easily earn over $100k. There is a nursing shortage so with overtime, a registered nurse can easily earn over $100,000.
The US also has over 1.79 million documented Black American millionaires.

Proof this that US laws say all incomes must not be reported to FIRS when you file your taxes.

Yes certain income might not be taxable but you must report all incomes including overseas incomes anywhere you make them from in the world.

Making $100k a year isn’t that uncommon and very possible depending on what kind of work she is doing. My yearly earnings exceed $100k and I know a number of other people who earn the same or even more than I do.

The husband has been the one paying all the bils from day one till now (5 years) that the woman and the kids now have authorization (green card and work permit). Those alone cost the man like 4m.

The woman work as a care giver after doing some months course/ training.

The husband is not even asking her þo send money down but for to take care and let the man face himself to plan for his old agè now that they have papers

As you can see, if she works FULL time as a care giver, her family is just around the poverty line in the US.

I met my girlfriend some years back and she has been a good girl to me through all these while.

She comes from a large family of 7. Her father had stroke in 2018 and her mother left them all and ran away, leaving only the sick dad to Carter for the whole family.

She gained admission same year and I stood by her side from her first to final year in the university , sending her money on a weekly basis and sent more money to her when there's need for more money in school.
