Great!
Thank you @ Helpout12345
Sharing the interview experiences of 2 individuals who got their EB2- NIW approved.
One had some savings but no where near the 125pct figure for family of 5. He however had evidence of an online job for a US based company which he had in Nigeria . He was drilled repeatedly by the VO to show proof that he'd still have the job when he moves to the US

The other individual, a medical doctor and a specialist in a field, had stated in his EB2- NIW application and proposed endeavor/letter of intent, to engage in research in his field. He had some savings ( did not bring that up and was not asked), however, he was offered a residency training position in his field and his annual salary was above the 125pct figure required for his family size, and included medical insurance. The VO asked why he was going for the training in the field he claimed to be a specialist. He asked questions hovering around the EB2- NIW application and how he intends to carry out his proposed endeavor and if he really had exceptional abilities he had claimed to have.
Both individuals got the visa but had a sour taste in their mouth after the interview.
@Helpout 12345 and others with experience or information, please what advice would you give to someone in the first and/ or second scenario or other scenarios you know of.
What other factors can make the VO deny an EB visa?
Does multiple prior non immigrant visa refusals, prolonged stay at a prior US trip, inability to get police report from another country e.g China, Russia, etc, affect the interview negatively.

Thank you
Good questions.

1. I think the first person in those interview scenarios was in a good situation so far that online job is in their field of expertise where they claim to have exceptional ability

2. The second person was in a tight situation because of taking a training or trainee position. Anyone in that situation must be prepared for lots of drilling by the VO. I will not advise anyone to show trainee position going to interviews. It's better you have interviews and communication with US employers about top positions in your field than go with a job contradicting what you claimed to be. Honestly, the person must have really done a good job to convince that VO that he or she is not just a medical doctor like millions of doctors around the world or the specialized area must be very important to the US.

Concerning other reasons that EB visa might be denied. This falls under many factors that make an intending immigrant inadmissible to the US. Please find below full information on inadmissibility. Some of them have waivers opportunities while some don't.

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/waivers.html

It's a long read but it's worth it because I have seen people denied based on one or two of these grounds before.

Everything counseling. They have deceived you people far.

Just like married people are advised to seek "counseling" from young unmarried counselors using textbooks to solve marriage problems.

You think all risks are mitigated by planning to adopt children?

If both of them are medically fertile, the risk is still there because even contraceptives sometimes fail. Except they plan to abort any pregnancy that comes with failure of contraceptives. Or they are ready for hysterectomy or vasectomy.

it's better they go their separate ways.

Thank you once again. Can you share the savings hhreshold one can think of?
Here you go. Based on states or Alaska or Hawaii. You will use 125pct figures.

Those figures are expected to carry you and family for a period of 1 year without needing any public charge benefits.

A wise man keeps his home, so he should work on his tone ( maybe all that shouting is why she cheated undecided), keep fit and hit the gym and make sure he looks attractive and smells nice at all times.

But as Chinenye has demonstrated, there are many waiting to take his place so he should stay and fight for his marriage.
Do you have father, brothers, uncles or sons in your life? Think of them as you are practicing your misandry.

Same goes for Mysogynists, think of your mother, sisters, aunts and daughters as you practice your beliefs

And a cheating partner can lose spousal support if there's evidence that they are already having affairs during the marriage and that affair lead to the divorce.

Not an affair the cheating partner in the past and the couple had reconciled over.

Not true. In most States, if you have documented evidence of infidelity, you can divorce without your spouse getting 50% of your assets. That is one of the reasons they hire private investigators to catch a spouse they want to divorce.
You are wrong. Cheating partner only lose assets if evidence shows they have spent parts of the marital asset on their extra marital affairs.

Okay. If truly the woman is in better financial situation than the man and she is displaying this type of anger on video. Then, the man has lots to gain from this divorce if the man has a very good divorce lawyer. A woman can pay spousal support, lose her property or investment too to a man if she has more financial power in the marriage.

This anger on display here, and if the man can get more evidences, she might end up losing more if she loses the custody of the children to her husband

Thanks a lot!
The affidavit of support and financial documents are not required in EB2 -NIW, am I right?
Yes. Affidavit of support is not required for NIW. But there are things required to serve same purpose as the Affidavit of support in case of NIW.

The purpose of Affidavit of Support is for US government to ascertain than the immigrants will not become public charge after getting the immigration benefits. In other words, that the immigrants will not end up collecting public poverty alleviating benefits.

So for NIW applicants going through consular processing, the public charge requirements are tested at embassy stage. The primary NIW applicant must convince the VO at the embassy that he or she has a job offer waiting, or has a high prospect of landing a job as early as possible when they arrive in the US. If the primary applicant has no job offer waiting, the following are tips to use to convince the VO that they will not become public charge

1. Present your letter of intent submitted with your I140 from the first stage. But you must have written your letter of intent to serve this purpose as well when you were preparing it at USCIS stage. In the letter of intent, you must state your intention is to work in the field you have demonstrated extra ordinary abilities in the past and that you are still demonstrating those abilities at the moment.

2. Before your embassy interview, go into indeed.com and other job boards to apply for as many jobs as possible. Have communication and interviews with as many US employers as possible. Print those communication and interviews and take them to your visa interview. If you can get interviews with prospective employers in your field while outside the US, most likely you will land a job very soon when you arrive.

3. If you have enough savings, show evidence of it against the US poverty guidelines based on the number of people in your family.

@Helpout12345,
I observed that a lot of family based immigrant visa applicants handle the NVC processing stage by themselves. Can the same apply to applicants in the employment based category at the NVC stage? Do you have experience with the steps involved?
Yes. EB categories applicants going through consular processing can definitely do the NVC stage by themselves. In fact, the process becomes same for everyone at NVC stage, except very few differences in visa priority dates, affidavit of support, job offer (if required).

I also always recommend that EB consular processing candidates DIY the NVC and embassy stage cos attorney has very little inputs at those stages.

NVC steps are as below.

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-1-submit-a-petition/step-2-begin-nvc-processing.html

Let me know if you need more information on any steps involved.

Family › Re: Married Men But Why??? by Helpout12345:
It happens both ways though. Some married women also reach out to their ex, whether the ex is married or not.

1. They might just marry their current spouse for other reasons aside love. Their ex might actually be their true love.

2. They are currently going through marital problems and they see the ex as someone they can talk to freely. In the process of pouring out their hearts to the ex, Okafor's law will be tested and reconfirmed.

3. Those that just can't let go of whatever they shared with the ex. Most especially if they happen to run into themselves after a long time.

4. Because of marital problems some are going through, they remember their ex and thought they made a mistake to have married their current spouse.

I hope they are still freshly married before the old man discovers this, so that she can be thrown to the street where she belongs empty handed.

Otherwise, she will even collect part of the equity of the man's property and spousal support on top.

Good day members of Nairaland

Please I need your take on this

My close friend is planning on getting married to a prostitute unknowingly

My friend has been away for some time came back last year.
Don’t know how they started the relationship
He introduced her to me last month as the lady he is planning on taking as a wife
The thing is I know this girl very well and she knows me
I have seen her countless times standing out looking for customers in a popular hotel

I know more than three people who have slept with this said girl even me myself I have (ok story for another day)

The thing is I don’t know if it’s nice to tell my friend what I know or I should just mind my business

For some time now she has stopped going to the spot to look for customers

She looks so innocent
You are not a good friend if you are asking us this question.

Family › Re: Lady Sends Her Husband Packing In UK After He Called Police On Her (video) by Helpout12345: 2:17pm On Sep 16, 2022
The truth is that there are still good Nigerian women living peacefully and lovingly with their husbands in western countries irrespective of their individual financial status and the laws. But on my estimate, the good are about 30pct.

Men, be careful of type of Nigerian women you bring abroad. Stop the practice of December marriages in Nigeria. You just go home in December and you show up with wife in January. You most times marry someone else's wife or marry a monster you don't know with this practice.

Even your regular girlfriend or wife in Nigeria, if you see any element of a red flag that she can turn into a monster in the western world, keep her down in Nigeria.

I know many online women defender will start pouring into this thread to give excuses and even defense for this woman.

Before anyone defend or give excuses for this woman, first think of how you will feel if that man in the Video, Mr. Charles is your blood brother, or uncle, or son.
Family › Re: Lady Sends Her Husband Packing In UK After He Called Police On Her (video) by Helpout12345: 1:58pm On Sep 16, 2022
Her display in this video is enough to understand what that man has been passing through.

I can hear their children in the background of that video.

The man should keep this video and used it against her in court so that she can lose custody of the children. He should also find other avenues to provoke her more so that she can display her madness on more videos. Whoever gets custody of the children get to keep the house.

I hope the man also had a video of her threat to kill him too. That will also be good to argue that she can kill the children out of anger.

Nigerian men in western world should learn about the laws these evils women are taking advantage of. These women learned about the laws and quickly takes its advantage of it.

These laws can be used by men too.

UyaiIncomparabl:
A woman will only weaponize against a man because of one of these. Viz;

* She may not be sexually attracted to you.

* You cheated on her and she caught you, hence the feelings died. Some women don't forgive cheating.

* You have terrible oral and bodily hygiene. Some men can be so nonchalant when it comes to their hygiene.

* She has a low libido or suffers from vaginal dryness, and hormonal imbalance which usually happens after childbirth, or she could even be circumcised.

* She is stressed. If you care about being sexually satisfied and her well-being, take the stress off her. A happy woman will gladly go to the ends of the earth to satisfy you - the man.

* Your sex game isn't just on point. You aren't hitting her centre of gravity. Some men are just a no-go area in bed (2 mins men and co). Look, sex is beyond just humping and jumping on a woman. If your sex game is lit and you satisfy her in other areas, she can never weaponize sex against you. Take it from me.

A woman who loves and is sexually attracted to you will bend her rules for you as long as the aforementioned issues aren't the causative factors.

Women, to avoid issues like this, endeavour to marry men you are SEXUALLY ATTRACTED TO. It is very sacrosanct. Never settle.
Good summary. The OP just generalized all marriages must have same problems.

This is also true. Example if you are a source of the stress or worries, like you serially cheat and she catches you. She can deny you sex for months even though she still loves you.
