@Johndoe

Some people have some work to do you know, GEJ can not sweep the whole of the South in a free and fair elections, infact, if ACN and CPC work together with Buhari as the Presidential candidate, GEJ will not win in a free and fair election, he might sweep the SS and SE, but, he will will lose in all the other regions.
Politics › Re: How Lagos Hopes A Railway Will End Daily Endurance Test And Change Lives by hercules07: 12:38pm On Jan 17, 2011
Abuja to Kaduna road is good in the Nigerian context, I do not know about the one going to Kano, you can actually get to Kaduna from abuja using different routes and the roads are relatively good ( the accidents on those roads sha na die).

May God bless both Buhari and SLS, where are the GEJ supporters? We need them to respond to this article.
Politics › Re: Buhari Calls For 'TOTAL' Sharia In Nigeria by hercules07: 1:40pm On Jan 16, 2011
Apparently since you guys have defeated Atiku with the help of brown envelopes, the next target is the man that will give your benefactor a run for his money, Nigerians are no longer swayed by sentiments, we know the destruction that PDP has wrought on the nation and we are not going to give them a chance to continue messing around witho our lives, we will vote PDP out.
Politics › Re: Northern Governors Are Traitors –kaita, Yakassai by hercules07: 10:53am On Jan 16, 2011
The Northern governors are going not because they voted for Jonathan but because their people are fed up with their utter uselessness. When the Northern masses decide to effect change in Government they usually do, please ask Muazu.

Your hatred of Buhari is unhealthy, though I do not support GEJ, I do not hate him. Can you please show with facts the funds Buhari looted?

Nice article, I believe Ribadu should step down for Buhari while the ACN nominates a VP, Buhari has the masses of the North in his pocket.

Was it also Idiagbon that dealt with Chad, the GOCs planned the coup and there was nothing that Idiagbon could do even if he was around.

Please go and read up on the Sharia, do not take what you read in the newspapers, read what the prophet says about it, you will know that every muslim is meant to believe in it, Buhari is not a religious fanatic, he is just an uncompromising man. Please seek out articles written by the CBN governor, he also supports Sharia because it is sacred to muslims but he also knows that it is impossible to practise it as a country in naija, by the way I am a Christian.

Politics › Re: Request For Buhari's Video On Sharia Implementation by hercules07: 5:40pm On Jan 15, 2011
@yeswecan

All muslims believe in the Sharia, they are just sensible enough to know that it can not be practised in a society that has several religions. Buhari chairing a book on the Sharia is a normal event, abi, if you are called to chair an event in which a book is being released on canon laws and the christian jurispudence as a christian you go say no?
Politics › Re: Buhari Calls For 'TOTAL' Sharia In Nigeria by hercules07: 5:33pm On Jan 15, 2011
@Safari SA

Please do not waste your time on these people, they have made up their minds that Buhari is a fundamentalist and nothing you say will change their stance, let us just ask for and work towards a free and fair elections. Apparently it is better that we continue to be mirred in corruption than vote in someone who will fight it.

Nairaland General › Re: Every Human Being Is Almost Equally Intelligent - Blackteeth by hercules07: 5:50pm On Jan 13, 2011
Everybody is intelligent, the degree of intelligence differs, Michael Jackson had all the ingredients to be successful, an Alex O could have been bigger than Michael if he had the same opportunities, people should please read outliers for some of the stories of people who were born at the right time. Sagamite and Blackteeth should sheathe their swords and agree that they have different opinions.
Politics › Re: Falana Threatens To Sue Fg Over Schools’ Holiday Extension by hercules07: 11:30am On Jan 12, 2011
I am totally against the closure, there are better ways of registering than closing schools, they have done registrations before without closing all schools. The last time registration was done, the registration points were evenly spread out in the communities to reduce the number of people that will register at a location, using schools now will mean more people registering at a point and it will be rowdy, it was not a well thought out plan, it seems the only thing they thought of is the DDC and nothing else.

Politics › Re: Pat Utomi On Utomi And Volkswagen Of Nigeria by hercules07: 12:15pm On Jan 05, 2011
Pat Utomi is an academician, he is good at theorizing, as an administrator, he has performed below par, he should be part of the system that will reform the nation, but, he can not lead it. Nigeria needs at this time honest bastards who will put the interest of the nation first in their thinking and actions. Politicians need to smart and honest, a smart politician will be able to see the benefit of suggestions by his ministers even if he has no expertise in that area. I wish Buhari wins with Utomi being an adviser, if he performs well as an adviser, he can be given a ministerial role to test his competence, he needs to rise through the ranks, we actually need to put competent and honest people in positions where they can rise through the ranks.

Politics › Re: Buhari May Just Be The Perfect President We Need In Nigeria At This Time. by hercules07: 2:57pm On Jan 03, 2011
@Mikeansy

If you need the Economic policies of Buhari, read Sanusi's article on what Buhari did while in Government ( Jarus can provide the links). Buhari was a military man who has decided to contest democratically, he was not the first to plot a coup, coups were rife in the 80s because of the situations then. I believe we need a man like Buhari or Ribadu (More Buhari than Ribadu for me) to build institutions, others can refine the institutions after he leaves.

Bauchi is not a Christian state in the North, areas such as Toro (close to Jos) might have Christian majority which I doubt, the majority of the people in Bauchi are muslims.

He should not claim anything as per the airlines having direct flights to the US, the commendation should go to the NCAA guy, and the process started and ended when Yar Adua was the President.

Education › Re: Waec Nov/dec 2010 Gce Result Is Out But Only 20% Passed Nationwide,what A Shame! by hercules07: 10:29am On Dec 27, 2010
We should blame the students first and foremost, it is their future and they are meant to safeguard it against all odds, the internet they use for yahoo and facebook can be used for serious educational work. We should also apportion some blames to parents who are failing in their responsibilities, if you instill hard work and a reading culture in your wards, they will never depart from it. The government should take a large blame as well, what we see in our education sector is what we have witnessed in all other sectors of our economy, a government that is incapable of doing anything constructive, they would rather privatise or throw money at the problem when all it needs is just some common sense, I am going to ask the apostles of privatization, do we now privatize our public schools? We need to vote in governments who will give us sound education, the three things we need in nigeria are education, security and infrastructure, if we can get these three, the country will move forward.

@Poster

Accra is about Six hours from Lagos, the wahala is border control and the fact that you will need original importation documents for your car. It is better to go by road and return by air than vice versa, from Seme border to Mile 2 will take nothing less than 2 hours ( too many checkpoints and traffic).

Posted a response on the MPLS stuff but could not see it here. MPLS is a layer 2.5 protocol, so, any layer 2 or layer 3 layer protocol will go on it, it actually does not require full mesh connectivity, it just requires that you are conversant with layers 2 and 3 protocols and BGP very very well. The benefits are for vpns and quality of service, by the way doing layer2 vpn seems kind of wacky in a service provider network.
