SammieJayh:She had 32 but her WAEC was withheld therefore she couldn't get the admission. But had it been released she would have gotten the admission. |
I don tire for Islamist wahala. The mumu christian populated nations that are supposed to use our case in Africa and Mid east as an example for not allowing Islam have a foothold have decided to be very foolish and naive. Where shall man run to now when Islam finishes both Africa and Asia? Non muslims would even have a better chance of surviving in Africa and Asia than Europe in the coming Decades Lalasticlala |
SammieJayh:Wow 48 is quite high. I have never seen anyone with up to 48 in the last two year. Last year during my sister's cusas the highest I heard of was 40 or so. Thumbs up man. Well you got the admission with that score last year? so I'm sure you would get it again.. |
This is serious mehn @mod he was declared wanted for not appearing in court and not necessarily fraud... |
SammieJayh:Lol abi now. I'm sure you scored over 33 in the cusas |
kaleam:Abeg epp me ask am o |
SammieJayh:I see. Applications for ICE must be too much already. Let's hope they pick you for your first choice. |
CodeTemplar:Islamic religion is never personal. It always wants to assume the status of "State Religion". Of recent a well performing Christian governor in Indonesia was charged to court for making a non-blasphemous reference to Islam. Years ago a Sudanese Muslim convert was arrested for marrying a christian and converting. Sometime ago an atheist was sentenced to death in Saudi Arabia. Evidences abound everywhere that this religion is very toxic and very unmanageable. But everybody is trying to be politically correct so we don't offend.... They say let's get rid of the terrorists so terrorism can end and leave Islam alone. But they fail to realise that the terrorists are just the first victims of a deadly ideology. Chances are if we made this kind of discussion in an Islamic country like Sudan and Saudi both our heads would have relocated from its neck. |
Cast out religion from the Government, cast out religion from Law! It is interesting to note that the people who fought for the separation of state and religion in the USA and in the west generally where fervent Christians. They knew and understood that while Christians should be involved in Politics it was dangerous for the Church to be enmeshed in politics. They also understood that it would be unfair to evolve a Christiano - centric government structure just to accommodate Atheists and people of other faith. Therefore it is not a coincidence that the "most christian" nations of the earth are the most tolerant. It however seems that the Islamic mind is still very primitive, they evolve every cheapish and shameful behaviour to express dominance over the other. Every where they exist in great numbers they constitute a threat to every one else. From Saudi, Indonesia, Pakistan, Sudan, Egypt their repressive behaviour is well known to all. |
Please read patiently. Tales of "Defined" Justice/Right I'm a product of Lagos State University, and if one must talk about religion injustice, Lagos State University, particularly Faculty of Law, is a classical example. So much to talk about but of most prominence is the line up of Courses we were made to learn. This hasn't changed till date. In my first year, Islamic Law was made compulsory for both Christians and Muslims. We all took the Course because we had no choice. The rule was that it's either you take the course or you drop out. To make it more deadly, it's the only Course that was 4 units. All other Courses, including Nigeria Legal Method were 2 units. The implication is that, if you fail the Course, there is a high tendency that you may drop out. So, the helpless Christians were made to study Islamic Law Course so hard, and in this way, were forced to learn Islamic principles which is against their faith. As a rule, if you mention the name of the prophet, you must add "Praise Be Unto Him". Our lecturer warned us that anyone who attempts his exam questions without this indication stands a risk of failing the Course. It was "adhere or you fail". In 200 level, the only elective Course made available by my institution was Islamic Transaction Law. And the system is designed in a way that you must pick at least one elective Course to complete your units for the session, otherwise, you risk a chance of been withdrawn for under registration. We were "compulsorily" made to learn a subject that's against our faith as Christians, an act which is clearly in breach of our fundamental right as eshrined in the Constitution, the same law those against the Body of Benchers are canvassing. I remember how my lecturer rebuked me for daring to raise such issue. Heaven didn't fall! Some of my able lecturers and colleagues who are running this campaign online now supervised this act against us (with utmost respect sirs). They didn't remember the very right they are canvassing. The policy was against Christians and since Christians are not humans, they have no such constitutional right. Even as I write, the situation is the same in my alma mater. Christians are still technically forced to study Islamic Law. Again, heaven is not falling. No one is talking about it. I was going to tag some of my lecturers here but I suspect they may feel embarrassed. I know they are reading this. And so wish to pass this message. If you feel not allowing your Muslim sisters to wear hijab for 2 hours is against their fundamental right, what do you have to say about forcing the Christian faithfuls in your institution to learn Islamic principles for 2 years? Do we have two sets of Constitution governing us? By the wordings of the Constitution, the right not to be forced to learn principles against one's faith is almost absolute and as such, the Christians in faculty of law, Lagos State University have more beautiful fight than the lady whose religion excesses were curtailed. How come we overlook the one whose right is almost absolute and are weeping over the one whose right is subjective? We must learn not to create unnecessary tension in this country. I'm not a religion bigot. I'm only raising these issues to balance the equation. Justice, equity and fairness is all we seek. If we must talk about the Body of Benchers, we must also talk about the injustice in my LASU! I.K. The early church is in no way superior to today's church. If today's church make marriage of the faithfuls her business then so be it... People should stop looking to the early church for validation. They lived their lives to the best they could, today's church should do likewise. |
PASTOR EA ADEBOYE VISITS SAMOA AS THEIR HEAD OF STATE AND OTHERS GIVE THEIR LIVES TO CHRIST Hundreds crammed into the TATTE Conference Centre yesterday evening to catch a glimpse of Nigerian mega-church PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE – guest speaker at the Let the Fire Fall Crusade, an interdenominational event which was accompanied by “signs and wonders”. As the General Overseer for the 196 branches worldwide of THE REDEEMED CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF GOD (RCCG) including Samoa, the 76-year-old Pentecostal icon delivered a message of prosperity, deliverance and blessing to the people and Government of Samoa. Present at the Crusade was High Highness Head of State, Tuimalealiifano Vaaletoa Sualauvi II, as well as various Government dignitaries who attended with their families. Preaching about the story of Elijah in 1 Kings 18: 36-39, he said, “The Prophet of God came to town, and there was a competition between light and darkness, darkness tried all that it could and it failed, then the prophet of God said ‘it is my turn’. When the prophet of God said that, the Fire of God fell.” In the nation of Samoa, the Fire of God will fall today. When the fire fell, several things happened; I will mention only five of them. The first thing that happened was that the prayer of the man of God was answered. I want to prophesize to someone right now, today your prayer shall be answered. How do I know for sure? In Jeremiah 33: 3, God promised that if you call on Him, He will answer you. He didn’t say ‘I may answer you’, he said ‘I will.’” He continued, “You hear some people say that when you call on God, He may say Yes, No or Wait. Next time you hear that, ask that person to show you where it is written in the Bible because that is human theory. God said ‘if you call on me I will answer’.” “The second thing that happened was that Elijah claimed a great victory that day. He won in the battle against all the prophets of Baal. All the enemies of Israel were finished in one day. Today, all the enemies of Samoa will be finished. The secret to victory is divine presence. When God is for you, nobody can be against you.” “When God wanted to deliver Israel out of Egypt, He sent Prophet Moses to speak to Pharaoh; He told Moses ‘I will be with you’. I am decreeing today that every force of darkness that is walking against Samoa today, they will be released. Whenever God is with you, you will win a great victory, from today onward, in the mighty name of Jesus, Samoa – you will be more that a conqueror.” Also present at the Crusade was a team of THE REDEEMED CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF GOD Pastors, Intercessors and Assistants of PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE – all who travelled with him to Samoa from their church base in Nigeria. At the conclusion of the powerful session of worship and message, an altar call was delivered with His Highness, Tuimalealiifano leading the way as the first person to come forward. With a tight schedule, PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE departed for Vanuatu earlier this morning from Faleolo Airport in his private jet, as he continues to “spread the Fire of God” to the Pacific nations. Samoa’s RCCG branch is located in Lotopa and is pastored by Pastor Houlton and Amelia Faasau. The entire event was aired live on local TV stations last night. SpoiltVirgin:35/60 and 250 in jamb is quite good. Comp Sci is way more competitive than ice though. Once I am chanced I would send you a screenshot of the number of applications each received last year so you can make informed choices. |
lexy2014:You are jumping from one argument to the other. The question here is are you leaving the kind of life that was promoted in those verses yourself before asking someone else to do it. |
5thElement:Well Oyedepo isn't one of the twelve disciples, Is he? Neither were the disciples the only Christians that were serving God. I have highlighted Christians that were rich during the NT and that's what matters. |
Lol freeze and his wahala |
5thElement:Cornelius wasn't rich? Governor Sergio Paulus wasn't rich? Lydia wasn't rich? Joseph Of Arithmea wasn't rich Abraham wasn't rich? Solomon wasn't rich? |
Lalasticlala this is a very great thread o |
lexy2014:Let me ask you a question. Who owns all the jets/plane in the Nigerian presidential fleet? Well, It belongs to the Federal Republic of Nigeria and was purchased and is maintained by tax payers money. However does that mean any tax payer can ride in it? You can approach the Presidential plane sometime and let's see what would happen. That is the same for Winners Chapel. The plane of the church was procured by funds of the church and maintained by funds of the church. Should that mean every winners member must ride in it? Winners Chapel is a church with 6,000 churches globally, 12,000 pastors and over 200 educational institutions. The organization surely needs a jet... |
misano:Bros Bill Gate also has a jet. And if owning a jet hasn't stopped Bill gate's philanthropy then it shouldn't stop Oyedepo's own either. |
HeyCorleone:So I presume the catholic universities are also cheap abi. How much is Loyola Jesuit College, Abuja, Augustine University Lagos ![]() |
SammieJayh:Oh sure they do. They plan to build a 700 bed teaching hospital which is 300 bed bigger than that of ABUAD. But I don't know why it has been stalling. I do hope it would be very soon though.... |
jboy73:Well he is not hiding anything. Every single thing he procures he reveals himself because he knows he is doing nothing shady. He only bought a flying vehicle(aircraft) for his ministry just as you probably bought a ground vehicle(Car) for yourself. Amazingly Winners is one of the ministries in Nigeria that don't collect offerings twice in a service. All through my stay in CU there was never a midweek service offering collected nor contributions made at the unit level. I respect Oyedepo's prosperity message because it focuses on combining covenant principles with diligence. |
Chai ppl said the church is already going broke because of freeze. But today the same church is currently building two universities at the same time, procuring a jet and still building a multi billion estate. I'm sure they sold the N633WM because of the recent air mishap enroute Isreal - Cyprus. If one must use a jet, one should kukuma use a good one not a flying casket. Anyway the church only owns ONE jet but has used five in totality. I.e sell and buy new one. Let's settle that before the propagators of fake news take the story to another level. I do earnestly await the CU Teaching Hospital project, dunno why they are stalling on that one... Don't worry your haters are really going to poo on their bodies when you become the first Nigerian to fly(and employ) in multiple Nobel Laureates into the country in one week. |
Bishop Oyedepo announces arrival of brand new Church Aircraft *All previously owned aircraft sold out. *Says ‘What God cannot give me, let me never have it’. By Leke Beecroft Bishop Oyedepo today announced the arrival of a new aircraft bought by the Living Faith Church aka Winners’ Chapel. Previously the Church had sold out all her old aircraft including the helicopter and the Challenger 605 with registration, N633WM as stated earlier by Church Gist. The Bishop had announced in April 1982 at a ‘powerhouse’ meeting held at the inception of the Church among other things that God had told him that the ministry will soon be on wings carrying the gospel to the nations of the world. All except one of the several points itemized during that meeting has seen the light of the day in the 37 year old Ministry. Since 1996 when the first Aircraft, a Hawker Siddeley 25 with registration 5N-WMA (World Mission Agency), was purchased at one hundred million naira (N100 million), Winners’ Chapel has used at least 5 different fixed wing aircraft and one helicopter while each of them as a tradition is always sold for an updated model as they begin to age. The Church has strong presence in over 60 nations of the world and has invested in heavy Church and educational infrastructure particularly in Kenya, Ghana, DR Congo, Congo Brazzaville, Benin Republic, Zambia and in over 30 more African countries as well as UK, USA and many more across the 6 continents. The Bishop and his lieutenants visit all the Churches located in these nations annually in what is called ‘apostolic visits’ usually between the month of April and October. It will be recalled that in one of such hectic visits in 2004, his wife, Pastor Faith Oyedepo fell ill and though she’s back to her duties in the Church, except for few visitations to particular nations, she is excluded from the rigors of the annual apostolic visits. Announcing on Sunday morning, Bishop Oyedepo who had unsuccessfully tried to join the Nigerian Airforce through the Nigerian Defence Academy in 1973 said to the congregants at the 50,000 capacity Faith Tabernacle during the first service: ‘Men and brethren we have a brand new Aircraft at the airport’. Shortly before that he had announced in his sermon about the virtues of love and giving as well as exhorting on the need to focus totally on God that: ‘What God cannot give me, let me never have it. Where God cannot take me, let me never get there. What God cannot do for me, let it remain undone. The Bishop and his team have survived a number of aircraft mishaps, the last coming in 2017 which led to thanksgiving across the branches of the Church Worldwide. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1347825885361279&id=444807728996437

Austin234:How derogatory? The Anglican Church is my family church. Anglicans especially of the British extract do not really like charismatic messages. And that is why I said it is not ur average message in an Anglican Church. |
Yea awesome message from Rev. Michael Curry. Not your usual message in an Anglican cathedral. |

What Europe suffered from is what I call unrivalled, unchallenged Christianity. When Christianity is unchallenged for a period of time in any locality and the flames of revival are not fanned then it naturally begins to wane. This is why you would see the most extreme of Christians in Borno than you would see in Anambra. You would be amazed at the phenomenal rate Christianity is growing with in countries like Indonesia, China and even North Korea which ironically are some of the worst places to be a Christian. |
Worried by the dwindling level of Christian revival in Wales and the United Kingdom in general The Church in Wales has announced it will spend £10 million (N4.85billion) on evangelism projects in efforts to inspire a new revival. The Church will provide grants of between £250,000 and £3 million to diocesan projects which “crucially… focus on people rather than buildings.”The Archbishop of Wales, John Davies, said it’s about the Church putting its money where its mouth is. “We have long talked about growing the church and now we want to invest in projects across the country to enable that to happen,” he said. “It is a radical answer to the decline we are experiencing in many places, and £10m is a transforming amount. I am looking forward to seeing some really creative and inspiring projects that will breathe new life into some of our churches and into our mission in Wales.” The evangelism fund will be launched on Pentecost Sunday – 20th May – the day traditionally regarded as the Church’s birthday when Christians focus on sharing their faith and growth. http://naijachurchnews.com/church-spend-n4-85-billion-evangelism-revival/ Lalasticlala |
