verybadmouth:This doesn't change the fact that his book shelf look so unkempt...having a book shelf or not doesn't translate into good leadership. Whether Buhari has a book shelf or not, is not the topic of discussion here. So until we are shown Buhari's empty or scattered book shelf, let's stick to the topic. After all, it is not as if George Weah is doing any better in Liberia. |
aspabay:Still |
How can a President's book shelf be this unkempt? ![]()
|
The problem with Osinbajo is that he doesn't have a strong political base. And the greedy Tinubu who is battling age related illnesses doesn't want to shelf his selfish ambition. And how anyone; especially the youth who genuinely want meaningful change support Tinubu with what he's going through is beyond me. If he's vibrating, peeing and pooing as being alleged while still consulting, how will he be able to cope with the rigours of electioneering campaigns...let's not even mention run a crazy country like Nigeria. It is sad really ![]() |
nedekid:You sef stop comparing Nigeria with US and Russia... diesel in Nigeria is cheaper than what obtains in most European country too....Those countries are not in any way in our league. Artificial inflation is what we are battling as a country...and sadly the govt is finding it difficult to find a lasting solution to it. So in that regard, I agree with you. |
And all these businesses that are bowing to Western pressure, and are withdrawing their services thinking they will find it easy to regain access into Russian economy once the dust settles? Putin wey don dey count scores. ![]() Leaders of countries go find diplomatic ways to settle...nah all these companies go hear am. |
Civilised countries have impounding yards where vehicles like this are parked and registered temporarily, until they are sent to scrap yards of not reclaimed in time. Only in Nigeria will you see police stations decoratwd with abandoned vehicles |
nedekid:I agree with you that APC messed our economy up. But my argument is that every party in Nigeria has it's own demons...same PDP spent N2.7trillion electricity to give us more perpetual darkness and ensure Nigerians spent their end of the year periods queuing for petrol. But at the federal level, the APC has given so much attention to major infrastructure in 7 years than a party that was in power for 16yrs. APC has its many demons, but PDP is never a good replacement for APC. Same people parade both corridors looking for where to regain lost prominence and gain access to the treasury again. The sooner we know this the better for us. Instead, support individuals with tested success rate in governance, not party or desperate spent men. And for your info, 1 Russian ruble will give you just 3 naira |
foryourmindlol:Haba brother, how can railway be free? It is impossicant nah ...people pay tolls to travel on trains |
A sector APC beats PDP hands down...while one party was known for groundbreaking, another is known for completing projects and opening them for public use. Although they are both pain in the butt in their own unique ways |
Clowns ![]() |
sukkot:Yes o. Because they know the implications of getting directly involved. Even their NATO allies like Germany and host of others depends solely on heating system, fuel, oil and wheat from Russia. Imagine Russia cutting that supply. Everybody sabi him mate. ![]() Make Russia sha please shift whatever action they want to carry out on those supplies till summer, make cold nor finish man ![]() |
Malory:And which one of the hells is PDP from? Because the last time I checked, same names in their hundreds strolls in and out of both platforms at will. So the current situation in the country has made people forget the many atrocities committed under the PDP government? Amazing!!! A party in power for 16 years *Spent billions of dollars on electricity to give us more darkness *Repeated political assassinations *Regular but artificial fuel scarcity every festive period *poverty alleviation scams *Stealing is not corruption quote by a sitting President, the supposed Saint amongst them. *A party that allowed terrorism fester until it became multi headed demon. *Governorship impeachments at will APC might be clueless in so many areas, but at least when it comes to infrastructure as an eight year old party, they dwarf the 24year old PDP. Now before some ignorant folks start spilling thrash, you can vote against APC all you like, but PDP isn't cleaner in any sense, and shouldn't be an option. Why must we keep jumping between these two parties, can't we try something new? Most Southerners are clamouring for Presidency, but some are willing to vote another desperate Fulani man to spite another Southern Region. If anything, desperation should have taught us a lesson or two as a nation by now. |
Must the US wait until it happens before they arm their allies until they take action? One would think Russia will give a notice before taking such steps, why does the US play kite with the lives of their allies? |
Seconded He is still playing some good football...if age is still on his side, and he's willing to return, why not. The team needs a well balanced blend of productive youth and experienced players to excel well. |
US dey their continent jeje dey watch from afar...nah EU countries go hear am...France, UK and the Germans should brace up....with EU countries still struggling to recover from the effects of Covid-19 on their economies; especially jobs, let's see how they will be able to accommodate 1.5m Ukrainians- a number which could be tripled in the coming months. |
Hmm Only God knows how many people would have gone missing this way without trace. Nigeria is one scary country right now. |
Hmm Sorry for your loss, but I am afraid the money is gone. Main reason why I am always on tight jeans...with my wallet and phone well tucked inside my front pockets...I feel them after every step. My advice to everyone who cares to take it, have two bank accounts...put the chunk of your money in an account without any form of civilisation attached to it; no Internet banking, alert, otp, bank card, etc Just cheque books or bank teller. Then at the other account In the same bank, you keep the money for your basic needs...money you can afford to lose. So monthly, walk into the bank, ask for the account statement of your major account, make a small withdrawal, and deposit it into your small account (with card and all). Now this can be stressful, but it prevents premium regret and tears...not only that, it helps you save better, because when you think about the long queues in Naija banks, you will change your mind about spending on frivolities that consume most of our earnings. |
The race becomes harder from here on...with 13 games left for the team to execute; playing as many as 3 games in 7 days in some cases...coupled with the fact that the team is very thin...I won't be too excited and carried away. Under Wenger, there was a season Arsenal was topping the table at the beginning of March, with massive 13 points, but ended up struggling to make top 4 at the end of that season. Whilst I wish we retain top 4 till match day 38, I will suggest we take it a game at a time. |
To spite your enemies of course ![]() |
Hmm This mud just dey splash everywhere...let's see who blinks first...that's if there is ever going to be any blinking from any quarters at all. The last time I checked there a lot of US and UK multinational cooperations who manufacture their wares in China because of cheap labour. This one nah modernised Cold War ![]() Gradually, these things will have ripple effects; effects that will hugely affect Nigeria- a country battling a dying economy and one who relies on the importation of 95% of its total consumption. Brace up folks! |
Enemyofpeace:That still won't stop him from opening the drum of snakes...after all, nah the same US Hushpuppi cast hin own name too. ![]() Kyari is a kinda guy who won't want to go down alone...he will have a lot of evidences to drag top top people down with him...except they promise him and he trusts them to deliver something he can't resist. Massive money for him after serving his term, or death threat to his family if he opens his mouth. That is if they are not alteady working hard to silence him forever sef. |
The only reason this guy's travail is still making headlines...and the fact that he's yet to be prosecuted is because the mud will splash so wide and it will end up staining so many top brass in the Police and so many politicians. |
Karlovych:How, if I may ask? I am no supporter of Tinubu...because of Age and obvious health concerns...so aside from these two, tell me what makes Atiku better. |
There they go again, Donald Trump them family. ![]() The truth of the matter is that every politician and political party in the world tries their utmost best within their power, and how compromised their electoral system is...to bend the rules, and ensure elections end in their favour. Call it election malpractices, lobbying, bribing, tampering with voting machines, forcing, rigging, blackmailing etc. Call it whatever name, it is how brazenly they bend the rules across the democratic world that differentiates them. Hence, the smartest at such times win. Even the US, the father of democracy, their elections aren't perfect, far from it. So PDP should spare us this victim play...after all, the most brazen rigging and rape of tenets of democracy happened when they were in power. Ask Maurice Iwu and OBJ. ![]() The only one shocking stunt pulled by APC, that still keeps my mouth opened is the last IMO state guber election...how a 4th placed candidate was eventually declared winner still shocks me till date. ![]() Bottom line, PDP is APC...and APC is PDP...both are with bad eggs and good eggs. The leadership of the party at each political dispensation determines which direction they go. Shikena! |
I recall their male counterpart winning some big matches, even beating the US pre-Olympics, got all the support and hype, only to get to the tourney proper and flop big time...same was the hype around the Super Eagles; we know how it all ended. No one should place unrealistic expections on these super ladies...let them and the fans alike take it game by game. I hope and pray they claw and bite their way to the Quater Finals at the very least....then from there we see how far we can go. Doyou2019:When it comes to sports so many factors contribute to our dismal performances on the global stage as Africans...in my opinion, they are but not restricted to the f/f: 1. Grassroot discovery and development of raw talents by the authorities is close to non existence on the continent. 2. Corruption: Connections and the financial muscle to buy your way to selection ensures that the best brains, legs and hands aren't selected. 3. And due to no 1 and 2, by the time these real talents crawl their ways to the peak, they are already getting old and their glory days already leaving them... *they falsify age... *do well at age grade levels...excel against much younger opponents globally. *at the senior level, they are able to compete excellently against Africans who grew up in the same system. * on the world stage, and at the senior level, you now get to see Africans who are mostly in their early to mid 30s competing against guys and ladies in their early to mid 20s...my brother, what do you expect? |
FreeStuffsNG:Hmm |
People ehn...after he had mentioned the name about four times without an error....because he mispronounced once, e don get dementia ![]() If you nor like person, nah every simply fault of his you go dey find to ridicule or bring dem down...humans ![]() |
Except God builds a house, he that build labours in vain. And he hopes to achieve is Presidential ambition through NNPP or what? Very hilarious...oga go and rest! ![]() |
Toh! ![]() |
Belawy:Haba 100k loot per hour for a Deputy Governor is very impossible...only a Governor can pull that off |
pyyxxaro:You meant to say per day? ![]() Even of she nor wan still career officers will push her to ![]() I fear career officers more than politicians...because without them politicians won't be able to steal and cover up 50% of their loots. |
