hisexcellency34:We still won't have come this far...fine, Buhari reeks of bad luck, but Eguavoen isn't sound enough; tactically and technically |
Well, there is this very good friend of mine, she was about the same age when her husband got married to her. She just had her WAEC when she got married to this much older, rich and nice guy. The guy flew her outta the country immediately, now, she is a graduate with 4 kids... flourishing well in the cosmetics and fashion industry in that foreign country. So it is not always a bad idea, except you notice danger lurking around the corner; if you feel something is off about him. But if the dude is single, responsible and sincere, why not. She might not be this lucky again if this opportunity passes her by. |
smiliyB:Exactly |
For a minute, let's forget about waist beads and the meanings attached to it. What kinda relationship is this, you aren't cool about something, and you couldn't tell her before she went to buy it? She even told you she was going to buy it to please you, even if nah me, I go vex. Lack of clear communication is the reason why most relationships; and consequently, marriages are hitting the rock early these days. Let your partner know your likes and dislikes...issues you can reach a compromise on...not that you keep mute and moody, and you expect your partner to read your mood and know what you are thinking. So IMO, she has the right to be furious sef. |
Wike is just grandstanding so that he can become the VP candidate for PDP...Las las, nah Atiku go still be their flag bearer |
Awnnn!!! That was so sweet of him...but still, package him more than that, he won't become President. ![]() One who can be bold enough to turn pensioners to beggers in his state, what good can he do as a President. Charity begins at home they say, but what does this clown have to show for his political circus so far in Kogi State? Fantastic failure!!! Tueh |
Himtulie247:Him tell u sey hin dey come back anytime soon? ![]() Person post sumtin with double exclamation marks ("I Have Finally Left Nigeria!!" ) you dey tell am make e buy bread come when hin dey come back...take your time bro. ![]() Well, better than doing the desert stunt...may God direct your path even further and farther . |
She will be called small mummy by her little brother...a 14 year gap isn't beans ![]() Happy birthday girl |
Hmm Africans are waking up...just that after all of these, power fall at the hems of corrupt people again. But still, it is a wake up call for these greedy African politicians. I hope the greedy and egoistic Western world; especially France, whose means of livelihood is being threatened by all these coups, won't use this opportunity to turn Africa to another battle field. |
tuzle:That as been my attitude towards them in recent years too, but that team knows how to raise your hope in them ehn, and then disappoints you when you least expect |
Arsenal FC?!!! About 7 or more players left already this transfer window...I doubt if the team have up to 18 senior players...yet, 6 hours to the deadline, not even a chicken has been bought to replace the outgoing ones...Edu and Arteta are flexing in UAE with the hope that this slim team will perform wonders...issokay o!!! I only blame regular spectators at the Emirates, and fans who still patronise the team in whatever form. |

He who pays the piper calls the tune...shikena |
aribisala0:So the security agencies who parade criminals with charms and weapons are fools abi...despite the fact that the law of the land doesn't recognise charm. When have you seen them parade anyone with "anointing oil"? You see ehn, normally I don't engage daft idiots like you...arrogant and opinionated ratards who think they are smart...so I will just hold my peace. Next time abeg, maintain your lane if you know you can't engage people without displaying your frustration in life. |
Yes we need him to waste the stolen funds he stashed away ![]() |
aribisala0:You don't wanna see It in actiom...have you seen where anointing oil is used for evil? Yoruba films are a portrayal of real life happenings...have you watched anyone where Igbadi is used for a good purpose and olive oil used for evil? It is called "anointing oil" for a reason |
olas24u:Brain washed indeed, is it what I have seen in action a couple of times? My primary and junior secondary education was in this same Ota, AUD Comprehensive College to be precise. Is it rings or this same Igbadi...whenever two public secondary play a soccer match involving some dreaded schools, pandemonium always breaks out...even during and after Inter House sport events. A handful of core locals in Ota are idol worshippers, and most pass these things down from generation to generation...both the good and bad of it. Once you see a student with either Igbadi, or a cheap and strange ring, run for your dear life unless you are immune against it. When traditionalist who mean well wants to fortify their wards, they do so through incisions and concoction. So when you see a young boy who already indulges in those vices, coupled with possession of charm (potent or fake), he is up to no good. I guess you know more than the Nigerian security outfits who display charms along with weapons when they arrest criminals. And for your info, evil charms are the easiest and cheapest to come by in Yoruba land. You can allow him test it on you to check its potency Ms Sabinus ![]() |
olas24u:Come off it abeg...we know the damage this can cause if potent...colleagues and teachers alike aren't safe...any little provocation, he uses it. Considering he smokes too, weed probably, then the threat is even more pronounced |
Dumb as f*ck ![]() |
radia1:Well, not in always applicable in the Nigerian context...except the timelines of such news coming to fruition has passed, even an official denial doesn't guarantee it still can't happen...we know how to play with words in this country. |
delpee:You never can tell what desperation and peer pressure can push one to do...makes people do stupid things, even when the heart is loudly telling you there is trouble around the corner. I mean, the dude needs to wait for roughly 9 years (5 years for degree, that's if he can do without an extra year, and 4 years learning the ropes) to gain control, not all folks can be patient enough for that long. Well, it all depends on the relationship between both siblings b4 the papa's demise...and going forward, the sister's attitude on the one side, and the brother, on the other |
Wise father...he knew his wife will break and let the son into the business without fulfilling the terms of the will. My only fear now is the protection of the lady in charge...if truly the elder brother is into cultism, i fear for her life |
Well, I will advise you post his picture here if you have one so that others don't fall victim. Sorry for your loss...and thank God for your life, it could have been worse |
The streets of SA are not for Nigerians without a solid plan on ground...just as people have mentioned, Abuja is more feasible than SA. I studied and lived in SA for a few years, so I must mention that it is all not bed of roses for Nigerians on the street...if you are not into medical line, or have a very special skill set, forget it...owning a successful business in the country makes you a target during Xenophobic attacks...on the streets, you either do powder, finger works or other crimes; exposing you to even more danger. Even as a student who didn't dabble into illegality, thrice I escaped robberies and potential stabbings...one of them at the MTN taxi rank in Jo'burg; I and my friend were being robbed at gun abd knife point around noon, in the presence of a South African soldier, we beckoned on him, and the dude looked away. While still pleading that they don't take our wallet and phones, I saw the opportunity, and bailed, my friend wasn't so lucky, he was held back, robbed and injured. I wish you the very best in whatever your final decision is. |
Nice No one player is bigger than the club...Well I read Aubameyang's mess up wasn't once or twice...for crying out loud, you are the captain of a very young team that is struggling...he should lead by example. No sane person punishes a player for looking after his sick mom...they must have heard or watched a video of him partying... just like he went partying and then contracted covid-19; consequently missing out on Gabon's opener, and subsequently been subtlety chased out of the country's camp. Arteta is a young coach who has to stamp his authority in the dressing room, if not, he will be undermined...and the team will suffer for it. No one should bring race into this... Guendouzi and Ozil (both white) were both frozen out of the team for different reasons...while the former have anger and disciplinary issues, the latter got himself involved in religious and political issues that are bad for Arsenal's business. They are employees of the club, hence their personal views and interests shouldn't clash with those of their employer. |
"Give home to the downtrodden" ![]() As if they have not been in government before. But seriously, Nigerians mumu no be small...it is only in Nigeria I see people vote for an equally bad politician or political party, just to spite the incumbent person and party or even a region...totally forgetting that these sane people have contributed to the decay in the country in either of the party at one point or the other. I know Nigerians will make the mistake all over again, and until we choose to have sense, or prolly after a revolution or peaceful or forceful divide of the country...Nigeria will never make progress |
Oh my God...not again !!! ![]() |
Guyman02:I know jare...their way of life and religion tilts towards Arabs...schooled and shared a hostel with quite a number of both male and female Bangladeshis...so I know what I am talking about ![]() |
Jaqenhghar:So where will you classify them jare...I know they are more like Indians and Pakistanis...but take it or leave it, their way of life and religion tilts towards Arabs more than any other race. Except of course, those who practice other religions..which are just 11% of the entire population. |
Romanoff:I swear down...nah last match on the ticket come cut am...tragic!! |
Hmm Abeg how Bangladeshi be white biko? Just say Arab or Indian lady, we will get it Imagine, this brother travelled out of a sh*t hole to marry a woman in another massive sh*t hole...maybe there is something I am missing here ![]() |
