lawani:
Igbos lynch Hausas in the East too. Yorubas had killed Hausas, Ijaws in the West. Hausas had killed Igbos, Yorubas, Northern Christians, Southern minorities in the North. If Hausas had their own country, their police would have sorted the issue!. Not only Igbos face such issues. All face it in Nigeria. It is an antichrist government. A multiculturalism. A breakup would solve it. Only people who dont argue with Hausas will settle in their land. Ditto for others! Just some adjustment.

There is no basis for Nigerian unity and if the Igbos had handled their secessionist bid well, it would have succeeded but they bungled it!. Everybody is suspicious of the other! Even the smaller groups apart from the trio of Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo. No basis for the nation Nigeria.
Correctly true. We all face these issues in Nigeria. Some of us minorities even face worse discrimination and attacks, just that igbos always cry loudest.
For instance it is only in the core-north that igbos are likely to be attacked for their identity unlike we middlebelters and yoruba muslims who are likely to be attacked in both the core-north and the east.

I am from Kogi for instance and i have lost relatives in Onitsha killings because my people were mistaken for hausas by the igbo mobs. Even in the core-north during crisis we are not spared, hausas mistake we the middlebelt christians for igbos and call our muslims fake muslims.
If crisis start for instance in a place like Onitsa or Aba, most igbos will not be able to differentiate hausa fulanis from middlebelters and yoruba/edo muslims and we suffer the same fate.

The illiterates who went on killing rampage (their judgement is waiting for them, the ones that are not already dead) were sold the idea that we killed their leaders and want to dominate them etc. that was bad and I will never justify badness.
the massacre of the civilians were wrong on many levels (my grand father lost cousins aplenty) but there was a motivation (that is my point) the motivation was not enough justification for what happened, but we cannot just wish it away.

I asked the other guy if he knows the consequences of Nnamdi Kanu dying in jail and he was just beating about the Bush.

Nnamdi Many dying in jail will lead to the death of many innocent Hausa people in the east, you and I know that.

Are the Hausa people who will be butchered not innocent too?
Did they send DSS or Buhari to Kill him? what is their concern with Nnamdi Kanu's matterhuh Yet in the heat of the moment, nobody will remember all that, and those guys will be dead meat.

why do the Hausa peeps in Anambra flee to the barracks after election? or whenthe atmosphere is hot there?

And this is Nnamdi Kanu that is one riff raff somewhere o.
Now Imagine an Igbo president killed and the Igbo governors killed too, what do you think will happen?
I sincerely wished all Igbos were understanding and responsible like you. You are just very objective and please keep the good work with your positivity.

Everything that happens always happen for a reason with an underlying cause which we cannot wish away but only understand. May God help us all.

I don't subscribe to IPOB ideology, but they may not be far from the truth. When you push a man to the wall, he is bound to react. I am not an IPOBIAN, but a concerned Igbo.... the reality is that Nigerians don't seems to appreciate us.....
The last election was an example that opened my eyes. We voted for a candidate of our choice, and boom the whole country descended on us with various names and derogatory tags..... etc.

Modified:
If Nigerians will stop the hate and killings in the name of tribe or religion affiliation, I tell you the agitation for break up will die a natural dearth. The killers of Mrs. Bridget now walk the street free. Is that not gross injustice? Why was she killed? Because she is Igbo and a Christian. How many times have the Igbos been lynched in the North for one trivial reason or the other? 2015 election would have been a disaster if Jonathan had not conceded defeat.... Who will want to live in such country?
Dont loathe yourself is self sympathy.

In Nigeria, no one just loves anyone like that. Every ethnic group are interested in championing their own interests and often react when they see a group who is a potential threat to their interests.

Igbos were not the only ones who voted for GEJ in the last election, South south and parts of the middlebelt also did and we did not die or cry cos GEJ lost.

Mrs Bridget is not the first christian to be killed in the north for religious issues and neither was she killed because she was igbo. So many middlebelt and yoruba christians have suffered such too, even yoruba muslims too. Igbo christians seem to be victims of such in the north more often because of their assertive and arrogant nature.

So by inference, you have indirectky referred to me as a Stupid Igbo.. smh
you see the problem with people like you?

Okay, assuming the 1966 coup did not happen that led to the death of Tafa Balewa and Ahmadu Bello did not happen, will our people have been killed like that? huh

you guys reason zigzag, sorry to say.
Okay, let me give you an example that will be easily understood by you.
Nnamdi Kanu is in prison as we speak, if for any reason Nnamdi Kanu dies there, with tge allegation that he was poisoned by the government, you think there will be no revolt and bloodshed from his followershuh (Aboki men in Onitsha will be endangered specie)

As dumb as Buhari is, he will not try such a thing because he knows the consequence of that will blow this country.
This comment of yours is nothing but the truth.
If not for the coup, northernerns would not have woken up one morning to just start attacking igbos in their midst.

pazienza:
People like you were the ones that died more during the counter coup and war proper.
My grandfather was the Eze ndi Igbo in Bauchi before the war, well loved by the Northerners there, yet he was a very perceptive mind, he knew what laid behind those friendly laughter and camaraderie from the Northerners, before the counter coup even broke out, he already had left the North with his entire family and was safe at home.

Where as non discerning Igbos like you stayed behind, deceived by friendly vibes they were getting from Northerners, they were all slaughtered by their Northern friends.
Few of them that were lucky enough to make it to Benue from far North were ambushed and massacred by Tivs, Idomas, and their Hausa friends in Markurdi and it's surroundings.

Same happened in Benin and in Yorubaland.

Those stupid Igbos died, and nothing happened, their families replaced them, and the Igbo race continued to exist.

When the chips are down, it's the hateful ones, the bad eggs, the bitter ones that will lead the mob. The apparent good ones you are counting on will go missing or even join them after little persuasion grin.
Why all these bitterness and bitter hurtful remarks on a good sunday morning like this?
Bringing back the bitter past won't change anything. The northernerns and middlebelters too also have their own bitter stories to tell abt the igbos, but they are not.

Igbo guys are too proud, assertive and domineering which is a huge turn off sometimes. They are usually very handsome and muscular most times.

Middlebelt women dragging igbo guys?

Igbo guys are cool and handsome no doubt, just dominating and over assertive.

Am from the middlebelt and my sisters married igbos but the guys were the ones obsessed with them and not the other way round.

Trust me, in Africa we are so indoctrinated into superstitions that we can even hallucinate about them. How many people have these so-called witches and cats killed? Is there any verifiable proof of this?

While western countries are busy turning their cities into heaven on earth, Africans are still trying to kill cats in order to make heaven.
That is Africa for you.
We have our pros and cons. The white society has theirs too or can we say they have no bad sides?

You can start up an animal rights group here in Nigeria since u so much love animals like cats, it'd b the first of it's kind.
All i can tell u is to just give Africans some time. With increasing education and enlightenment, things will change.

True.
I remember when a rabbit trap caught a cat in my neighbourhood. People didn't sleep until they killed the cat.

I remember my hostel mate screaming blood of Jesus, I bind and cast you agent of darkness because she heard a cat meowing at night in ekosodin.

In fact Edo people fear cat so much and they fear anyone who likes them
LoL, dont blame your friend. Things like that are real. Besides, i have lived in Ekosodin too, and i react the same way when i hear cats meowing at midnight.

Why isn't Nigeria greater than the most sinful, most evil, most corrupt country in the world (USA)??
Dont say what u ate not sure of. USA has some pf the greatest men of God too.
The biggest ministers in Nigeria were actually mentored by American evangelist and Revivalist ministers, talk about the likes of Late Kenneth Hagin, Oral Roberts, Kenneth Copeland e.t.c, the biggest Nigerian men of God owe their spiritual mentorship to these men, directly or indirectly.

mark my words today, igbos and ss will repeat the mistakes they made in 2015 to become 5%
This time around, you'll be termed -0.5%

I am very sure only SS/SE will vote massively for him cos he can't defeat Buhari anywhere in the North
An average Northerner won't vote for a nothern traitor who wants to give igbos federalism. That's how they think

use your brain
North central and northeastern minority regions will vote Atiku over Buhari.
Buhari can only win in his Northwestern region. He cannot challenge Atiku in Northcentral and Northeast. Am from the northcentral and i can tell this to u.

To read and understand is very difficult for an average Nigerian. Why don't you read the headline again this time slowly so you can understand it.
It says most lucrative cities in Nigeria for property investment.

I saw a post here were someone said you can buy a fully completed house in kaduna for 2m. Pls tell me if that sounds lucrative to you.
Yes those cities you mentioned have population but it takes a longer time to get your ROI and even longer time to start making profit.
We all know that every city has expensive and cheap areas for various levels of income earners. How much is a plot of Land in Makoko or Ajegunle? Are these places not in Lagos too?
Neither Yenagoa nor Asaba have expensive quarters like Kano, Kaduna and Jos.
Places like Rayfield and Rock haven in Jos city, u see plots of lands and buildings in tens to hundreds of millions.

U lack objectivity and rational evaluation.
The list is bullshit.
PropertiesRe: 10 Most Lucrative Cities In Nigeria For Property Investment by ianSweet(f): 10:30am On Nov 19, 2016
This list is just rubbish.
It should be renamed 10 most lucrative cities in SOUTHERN NIGERIA, how can a city like Bayelsa or Asaba be on this list and there is no Kano, Kaduna, Jos and Zaria? These 4 cities have over a million people.

Do u think Nigeria ends in the south?

one of the top advanced countries like China has also dropped their culture I guess or does the Chinese holding on to their culture make them backward?

Nobody is telling you to go diabolical or kill humans for sacrifice, but simply refine it like everywhere else in the whole... Pick the best part of your culture and promote it(just for the fun of it) like Halloween...

The annoying thing is how you people react and sound whenever you see our cultures and traditions being displayed... It's just too annoying... I'm sure in the nearest future Africans(Nigerians) will start observing/celebrating Halloween.
What u are saying is exactly what am saying. I support we Africans promoting and reforming our progreesive cultures to make it look fascinating and appealing to others but i can never support a spiritual ritual festival like above which involves deities. God forbid.
We have to drop all regressive practices like idolatory or all practices involving gods and godesses.
