I would have fought if Lagos was on that list. Lagos hides its budget
Sammy07: On the Eligibility Criteria (EC), the minister said that States had to meet in order to be eligible to receive any grants included: the online publication of the approved annual budget and audited financial statement for the previous year.
The 24 states were said to have achieved: improved financial reporting and budget reliability; increased openness and citizens’ engagement in the budget process; improved cash management and reduced revenue leakages through the implementation of State Treasury Single Account (TSA); strengthened Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) collection; biometric registration and Bank Verification Number (BVN) used to reduce payroll fraud.
The 24 beneficiary states who were: Abia, Adamawa, Bauchi, Benue, Delta, Edo, Ekiti, Enugu, Gombe, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Niger, Ondo, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Sokoto, Taraba and Yobe states.
What's happening to SE and SS now... They didn't met the criteria
Even Lagos isn't there.
I don't know why you guys don't read. Are you an illiterate??
At least the post isn't lengthy, just 5mins of your time you'll understand what is written up there.
Kano please. Don't let him come to Lagos. We have more than enough here.
HisSexcellency: Who is talking about elections at such a time as this That chieftain needs to visit any NCDC isolation facility ASAP preferably Lagos or Kano for some immediate brain format.
Our elders have gone mad. They blame the youth of corruption but they tutor us on corruption the hard way. Well, Funke Akindele did not invite anyone to her husband's party, I swear I was the even Planner. Naira Marley broke the estate gate to access the party but he could not be turned back. All the other guests were not invited. if not for the surrounding situations, the birthday would have happened in Abuja and Lagos national stadiums the same time. Nonsense
I am sorry, who did you say the breadwinner of his family is? Him? Wrong, you are. And you are still GF ooooo. What happens when you get married? And your money should be his money? He wouldn't be asking you for your money then, he will give you allowance from your money. Don't worry, you are Federal Government providing petrol subsidies for him and his family. Better move on with your life. Btw, there is nothing wrong with supporting your guy and his family but it should be your choice and nobody should guilt-trip you if you don't. And a real man will not depend on you for cash talk little of putting his family burden on you
I hope the Nigerian government responds to this. I see in the video that his face is been snapped. Looks like assault on not a man, but on the Federal Government of Nigeria. This should not be taken with kid gloves
We will divert it to GT Hospice an general care. The only problem will be the crowd but you can be sure that you will sit in your house and our e-ventilators will connect to you.
olasaad: Kudos to Gtb but the question is what will happen to the medical equipment after this pandemic
Did you say 20 years? 6G will launch by 2030. by then, all of us go don taya for 4G. But be ready, G is 66 in Latin. 6G is the main mark of the beast, 666
kikero: All I know is in twenty years time, people would consider 5g 'obsolete'
And to anyone opposing 5G....let me tell you about the good old days of the internet...here in Nigeria when to browse, you had to go to a cafe, often times spend one hour struggling to load a page, and another one hour trying to download stuff. To even watch videos was problematic. Sometimes you paid for one hour and watched it go up in smoke because 'network slow'
Nowadays, all those fast speed you are enjoying? Brought to you by 2g, 3g, and now 4g.
If you don't want 5G technology because 'the Antichrist'...and 'because they will put chips in our bodies'.and because 5G creates viruses'..you can disconnect your phone and throw away your mobile and PC devices, and go back to the time when we used the Posts and Telegraph to send messages to each other, because some of the frequencies they run on will form the basis of 5G.

This is common sense. But it took COVID-19 to make us use it. I only hope that after we pull through this period, we continue to utilize our local human resources. Why can't these guys produce complete PPE? Something they are already doing with years of experience
There is no known cure for now. Just like Ebola, they manage the accompanying symptoms that comes with the infection and the virus wears out. See this infection as common cold, which has no cure forget all those cold syrup, what they do is to suppress the effect of the cold till the virus wears out.
fearless247: It seems countries are keeping mute on this. No one is talking precisely on what they are using, all we hear is patients being discharged from hospitals. we are watching.
Lolololololol. I thought I did not understand when I first read this. Like what's the biggie in holding a virtual meeting in 2020 that a whole State government thought to post it? Lol.
GistFullGround: Pls STOP displaying your village life online...
My children attend classes online.
You hear me, my children in 6th & 10th Grade study every day online because of this Coronavirus stuff.
A whole Lagos Government is showing off. Why can't they do it for all the children/students in the state. Shameless people...
That still doesn't mean he will make a good Governor...if Rochas with all his charitable works and Oshiomohle with all his holy-pass attitude as NLC President can end up being among the worst Public officers Nigeria has produced, then Mr Maduka should know that all this image laundry won't do him much good...
I wish him well tho...at least it isn't my state that he is intending to Govern....
He is not the beggar. He wants his neighbors to remain beggars while him and his son/ other children look fresh. sheybi he said it's their culture, why is his son not on the streets begging?
I laugh in spiritual powers. Nobi only govt dey bribe people ooo, look at a lot of our yoot leaders, do you know many of them got money from abroad for occupynigeria? Abeg believe your friend, Govt never gave him a Kobo, maybe they gave him dollars.
GamalNasser: All these con artist have arrived , they will be called by govt and bribed just like one of my friend that was made a multi millionaire by this evil govt after leading a on man protest against them in Abuja ..he was arrested and during his interrogation a top member of the govt asked what his problem was he simply said he was hungry and since then my man has bought house in Abuja an ML350 and went on a long vacation taking him to Dubai , London and the Newyork ..till date he tells me the govt never gave him a dime but cautioned and I smile
It's better to buy two cars and keep your home and good wife (as you have painted) than to loose your home.
If you get sense bro, contribute to buy her car. Even if it is a waste, it is a waste thats worth it.
Opeyemiebun: Hmmmm, so I should encourage us getting 2 cars within the next 3months looking at Nigeria's economy and the need to have multiple source of income?. Waoooh, thanks for the advice!!!
Well done to our military. but our way still far sha. I'd have expected them to get forensics checkout the boko harm captured guntruck and get fingerprints for identification of these insurgents and for records keeping
Tetehjevvels: Video obtained by cable news Nigeria showing Boko Haram bowing to the superior firepower of the Nigerian army as they were thoroughly routed with 2 gun trucks ceased as the BH fighters took to their heels
Its the power of 2,500. 2,500 is very very powerful.
Kylekent59: They went home by entering jeep with security, armed NPF men, the others would go home entering a four seater bus suffocating profusely in traffic
Ok. Your case is critical. We had light around 2am, woke up around 4am and light is gone. I don't remember when I last saw light but we have had light this January. So sorry ehn, we are enjoying the dividends of democracy.
luluosas: Hmm. Still without light here since November.
Let me add to the laugh. DSS arrested the guy and released him even after discovering that he used the guy used the said line to scam people..... ogbenge lai lie.
The man called the line & suspected something funny because he knew the president's daughter was supposed to be out of the country. So why call the line in the 1st place?
Well, the security agencies can easily retrieve call logs & recordings from the network providers.
But they should get their facts & evidences right rather than detaining people 1st then searching for evidence later.
