Some think that Jesus himself first promoted the idea that God’s Kingdom lies within the hearts of humans. Jesus did say: “Look! The kingdom of God is in the midst of you.” (Luke 17:21) Some translations here say: “The kingdom of God is within you” or even “inside you.” Are those accurate renderings of Jesus’ expression? Did he really mean that God’s Kingdom is found in human hearts?
First, lets consider what the human heart is. When referred to in the Bible, the figurative heart means the inner person, the source of a person’s thoughts, attitudes, and feelings. The idea that something as sublime as the Kingdom of God resides within the human heart—in the way it changes and ennobles people, for example—may sound appealing, but does it stand to reason?
The Bible tells us: “The heart is more treacherous than anything else and is desperate.” (Jeremiah 17:9) Jesus himself said: “From inside, out of the heart of men, injurious reasonings issue forth: fornications, thieveries, murders, adulteries, covetings, acts of wickedness.” (Mark 7:20-22) Consider: Cannot much of the misery that we see in the world today be traced back to the sinful hearts of humans? So how could God’s perfect Kingdom come from such a source? Really, the human heart could no more produce God’s Kingdom than a thistle could produce figs.—Matthew 7:16.
Second, lets consider the audience Jesus was addressing when he spoke the words found at Luke 17:21. The preceding verse reads: “one day the Pharisees asked Jesus “”when will the kingdom of God come?Jesus replied “”the kingdom of God cant be detected by visible signs.” (Luke 17:20) The Pharisees were Jesus’ enemies. Jesus stated that those hypocrites were not going to enter God’s Kingdom. (Matthew 23:13) Now if the Pharisees were not to enter God’s Kingdom, could the Kingdom be in their hearts? Impossible! What, then, did Jesus mean?
In rendering these words of Jesus, a number of careful Bible translations use wordings that really explains what Jesus meant. Some say that the Kingdom is “among you” or “in the midst of you.” As the new living translation and English standard version puts it.. How was God’s Kingdom among those people at that time, including the Pharisees? Well, Jesus was the one whom His God(Yahweh) appointed to be the King of the Kingdom. As the King-Designate, Jesus was right in the midst of those people. He taught about the Kingdom of God and even performed miracles, giving them a preview of what that Kingdom would accomplish. In a very real sense, then, the Kingdom was in their midst.
Clearly, there is no Scriptural support for the notion that the Kingdom of God is in the hearts of humans. Rather, it is an actual government, one that will effect dramatic changes on the earth, just as the prophets foretold.—Isaiah 9:6, 7; Daniel 2:44.

My problem is; what kind of question are we talkin about? The motive ange makes no sense if the type of question is spelt out.
I believe all questions are asked based on confusion, what has motive got to do with confusion. U might say it depend on ur degree of confusion or on what is confusing u.

One might ask: why did God allow the devil to come on earth and decieve us knowing that man will fall for the temptation and yet will throw us into hell for being decieved in the mist of hardship and confusion? The only motive I know here is to know why.

It actually depends on who asks such questions.........

Some persons really want to know d truth and some just want to mock God by asking.....

Motives are most times involved when questions are asked.....

If I flip thru d scriptures and can't find some answers to some of my questions as regards Gods dealings ,I'll relax and understand that I can't get answers to all my questions........

What does it mean to call Jesus the Son of God?

Does the title Son of God, imply that Jesus Christ is different than God? Lol, loving ur neighbours as ur self might sound simple but it aint really attainable. How can u love ur neighbours when the concept of self superceeds everyting. Our love for ourself knows no bound. We want to b better than the next person, we want to seat in the best seat in the bus, we want to be in the front line despite those who come b4 us, we want to be admired and viewed as classy, we want to b satisfied first then others come first. Its always all about us, we can't just deny it.

I don't do that.....I feel bad when I hear about accidents that other people suffer....and I never go to church to give thanks giving,insinuating that I'm better than others who experience accidents...

It beats me really. Yesterday in churchz, the pastor quoted a verse, "be ye perfect for your heavingly father is perfect" and I wonder, how we as humans can b perfect.

The bible tells us Jesus livd a perfect life, no pride, didn't condemn anyone, blessd those who curse him, loved everyone even his enemies, wasn't interested in worldy things.

Bt we all know that the heart is decietful, and I don't think its possible to find a person with such a heart (the type Jesus has) on the face of the earth, if there are they are insigificantly few.

U see the pride in pastors wen they preach, everybody praises his own church to b the best. The testimonies are just a form of trumpet blowing. There is no sign that there are Christians anywhere.

People who don't commit funication or fight or avoid any display of obvious sins think they are perfect. Isn't it clear that the heart cannot attain Jesus standard?

And sometimes I wonder, God changed tactis after old testerment, are we sure he didn't change tactis after new testerment? Shuldnt approach to God change from what it used to be in Jesus era? Times are different, can't we see it? How can one live a new tastament life in this computer age, just who are we deciving?
