BlackTechnology: Nigerians must start developing advanced weapons in large quantities
Yes they should! That's if knowledge grows on tree, and Nigeria can harvest it.

Wait a minute, it doesn't! What a pity.

I am aware of the fact that the British, the French, the American, the Chinese, the Israeli, the Saudi Arabian and the Russian intelligence and security agencies, amongst many others, have indulged in such covert ‘’cash for arms’’ transactions on numerous occasions in different parts of the world...
I am very much interested to know how Femi got to know about the "clandestine" dealings of the agencies of the named countries above.

Did he has intimate relationships with the involved agencies?
EducationRe: 10 Words Nigerians Commonly Misspell by Ilaje44(m): 7:11pm On Sep 16, 2014
MissMeiya: Ohhh this is one I HATE. Nigerians switch the words "would" and "will".

Example: I will like to visit.
Example: I would be there soon.

Will is indicative. Stating a FACT.
I will be there soon.

Would is subjunctive. Stating thoughts or beliefs, or hypothetical statements.
I would like to visit.

It makes me twitch inwardly whenever I see or hear it.

The use of "would" as regards Nigerians and "time" in this context is very correct. He believes/thinks he would be there soon. The correctness is in the word "soon".
PoliticsRe: 12 Soldiers Who Attacked GOC Sentenced To Death by Ilaje44(m): 4:53pm On Sep 16, 2014
seunlayi: mutiny / rebel / disloyalty etc are never welcomed in the military in any part of the world hence the high standard military are known for worldwide. The consequence of this action is no longer new since the time of old. Therefore, the judgement is normal in the military, but i hope that the fg will display some maturity has we are all aware of the prevailing circumstances that led to that incident so that they will be pardon soon

Well, hardly do "advanced" millitaries sentence soldiers to death for such an offence. It's not even murder, but mutiny and attempted murder. I am very sure the tribunal did not consider the prevailing circumstances while arriving at that judgment. I will be very surprised if the allegations of undersupplies were investigated. I hope the boys are not summarily executed, and that they can appeal the verdict at a civil court of competence.

lilprinze: Amaechi running his mouth like a tap without control insulting people anyhow forgetting that the governorship post dose not last forever. I don't know why Mr President allows stup1d, foolish and insignificant people to insult him anyhow GEJ is to cool for my liking people like Amaechi by the time they spend 1 month in prison with hard labor he would learn how to control his rotten mouth in public .
So in your mind, Amaechi has done something that he deserves to be in prison by defending his stance?

Where do you think Jonathan (the dundee), and Alam (the thief) belong if you're saying Amaechi (the loudmouth) should be jailed for having a different opinion and defending it loudly?

Later now you will be crying police injustice, army injustice, lastma injustice etc. Meanwhile, you yourself are the promoter of jungle (lynch) justice.

BTW, is Dokubo who has been yabbing people that are older than his father a Governor?

Naija is a total mess honestly.

comos: of what value are you to Nigeria?
Well, I would say much value than you in very different ways. Shhh, I have returned to Nigeria more than I gained from her. And since I still have atleast 3 decades to live, I'm afraid I will still have to continue to play my part, so that the giant "sick man" of Africa would ultimately respond to medication.

Any other question you want answered?

Have a good day!

It's that the site has been flooded lately with young, but overtly ignorant people.

In 3 years time, Akwa Ibom will look like a state in Europe grafted into West Africa..
I would love to see that happen, but having had a relative long years Nigerian experience spanning over 4 decades, I am convinced you're overstressing that statement. No place is like Europe in Nigeria, not even Abuja that's very much well planned than Uyo. Nigeria is a technologically challenged country with very limited mental capacity. And the way our schools have been left to decay, I am really pessimistic about the development of our mental capacity. Comments on this site are a good testimony.

HealthRe: Lagos Ebola Patients Neglected,critically Ill – Relatives,colleagues by Ilaje44(m): 7:47am On Aug 15, 2014
IGBOSON1: When i tell you guys this is one fuc/ked up country we're living in, i'll be shouted down! I bet they've already scrambled for the money Dangote donated (with specific instructions that it's mainly for Lagos state) and pilfered the lot under some spurious 'miscellaneous expenses' heading!

In one way, you can't blame the medical personnel for running away (seeing how the ones infected are being left to their own fate); yet again, it's what they signed up for, and if they know they're not up to the task the decent thing to do would be to throw in the towel and resign, while demanding that the federal and state ministries of health give those poor souls the proper treatment they deserve!

I've always said it that Nigerian Doctors, Nurses and other medical personnel are mainly materialistic, greedy, arrogant and short-tempered little hitlers, and are in it just for the money......not for some noble desire to save human life and limit human suffering! When push comes to shove, that's when they're 'shown up' for who and what they really are! Of course there's always the few decent ones still out there.....but as i stressed, they're few, and far between!
If you believe it's only about the Doctors and health workers alone, then you're not conversant with the Nigerian society. In Nigeria, the measure of success is money. Almost everybody behave the way you described the health workers to behave. Even the guy in Aso Rock is not excluded. The fish is rotten everywhere. It's pretty difficult to find principled and ethical people in Nigeria. They have to maintain their "fake lives" of "I have arrived" , "I pass my neighbour" even if it's gonna be through fraud, loot, deceit... Small stealing is not corruption, it's smartness. Go figure!

Hillary is not an opposition candidate. She's a bonafide member of the Democratic party. She's just letting her opinion out, because she would like to succeed Obama in that office. She's distancing herself from Obama in order to gain support for her ambition which is her very right. She must not share the same idea with the president like it's expected in a country plagued by Rogues and iron hearts politicians. BTW, she resigned from the Government of Obama.
PoliticsRe: Osun Gov Poll Loss Painful – Presidency by Ilaje44(m): 8:19am On Aug 11, 2014
Dominiquez: PDP under GEJ has been more matured than APC or PDP under OBJ.
Maturity is not about old age like our old politicians its your ability to accommodate others and know that you cannot have your way always.
In what way has PDP been more matured? Is it the lack of discipline or the total disregard for the electorate? Or is it the callous and brazen "small stealing" that has risen since Jonathan assumed power?

Nigeria, due to the Niger Delta crisis, was not producing so much oil like today, but Obasanjo did not carry begging bowls around the world like this Zoologist. Obasanjo may be overtly crude in his approach, but this visionless and deaf president is not only covertly crude, but subtly malicious.

anago9010: illiterate and you don't know that in Germany that each Bundestag is independent from each other. is the same thing obtainable here where everything is control by the central government.
In Germany, there is only ONE Bundestag. And it is the federal parliament. There also a kinda second house of parliament that reallz is not a parliament per se: The Bundesrat. It is like a kinda council of state, but with some limited legislative power. A Bundesland is not the same as the Bundestag.

That apart, the scenario he illustrated can never be real. No one is asked his Origin as a German. If you move from one location to the other in Germany, irrespective of your state, you are obligated to register your place of abode. I would also like to know the country where the state or pronvinces gave him 3 different IDs.

She took it because the FGofN prohibits taking/selling epo pupa abroad. She did her work there, just as the US customs rightfully destroyed the snails. Giant Snails are alraedy a pest in some part of the USA. The snails feast on economic plants there destroying people's means of livelihood. Besides, there are no natural predators (or perhaps not enough of them) in the USA to curb the explosive growth of the animals.

musiwa112: how do they rate that. fashola has not achieved much in power in any sector I know of.

educational system: lagos is nothing to right home about, go to lagos high school or primary school.

Health care: Ondo state have a better health care system than lagos. The ondo state government have build over 100 health facilities.

Transportation : 90% of the road in lagos are in bad sharp

water: 90% of the houses in lagos dont have water.

housing: they have failed to build housing in years.

You can go on. fashola does not have good commissioners.. I will not score any fashola commissionaire well.. they did not do well. compare to the hard work mimiko commissioners have done. It is your commissionaires or ministers that make a government good.

This is how i believe they rate government.

Nigeria media are more about money.. who can give them money. If you pay them money. they will claim you are the best... And this is why the society is never getting better.

This is a town in ondo state.

State of Nigeria media calls for a state of emergency to be decleared on that sector.

the amount of falsehood, propaganda, misinformation and outright distortion of facts is alarming!

those that delibrately mislead the people will surely end up in the ditch along with their followers this year
I do not think Premium Times is confusing Bayelsa the state with Yenagoa the capital town of the State. If anyone is erring, that person would be you. I'd suggest you take your time to read the article again. BTW, according to the article, the project in the appropriation bill being discussed is titled: “Connection of Bayelsa to national grid”, and that "under the allocation of the Federal Ministry of Energy (power)", and it was described as a "new project with reference number MOP1001637".
PhonesRe: My Experience With Tecno/Carlcare by Ilaje44(m): 12:23pm On Jan 03, 2014
jreyez: I'm all about android devices... So it depends on your cash at hand... wink

Here's the simple fact - Mtk devices (MediaTek processors) devices don't last longer.... Devices like tecno, infinix, gionee, itel... ETC, they usually develops fault due to cheap processors that's been used to produce them... That why they are cheap phones.

on the other hand, if you have the money go for a non-mtk device like Nexus, Samsung, htc, Sony, Motorola.. Etc. wink

Save your self from frustration of calibration, bricking and all that... Those usually comes from mtk devices.., believe me most people comes to my office with tecno devices coz of calibration problem.....

So think twice... Before making your decision smiley
That is not a fact! Lenovo for instance uses MTK in many of her Android gadgets, and they do last long. It is not about the MTK chips. There are many things that can go wrong in an electronic gadget, and the processor is the least to worry about actually.
