This has nothing to do with security. The quality of the screen has nothing to do with the archaic 2D facial unlock on Samsung phones. Basically, all I need to unlock your phone is your printed photo and your fingerprint(if you fall asleep).

Apple’s Face ID is more advanced that you cannot unlock the phone if the owner is asleep. Face ID is even attention-aware. It recognizes if your eyes are open and your attention is directed towards the device.

Apple's foolery is very lucid.
