LordReed:They are both satan's children, so they look alike like brothers. |
FLYFIRE:Here they come again, imagine someone insulting me for saying the plain truth about their candidate? Reno complained, Femi Kuti just complained too. Someone is asking what happened to me, i should close my eyes and support ipobic rascality. |
Na today Obi supporters dey threaten life? It's very rare to see other parties threatening. |
MadamExcellency:i didn't even hear it. The current threats are very loud and caustic. As far as i remember, igbos were allowed to freely vote and campaign all over Lagos and online. Nobody threatened to burn their shrine or shop or kill their children. |
DSC7:i don't recall any APC supporter threatening other Nigerians who shared different views, do you? |
CrownOfClay724:The exact thing we just referred to. If different people are making the same complaint about you, check yourself and adjust. Being caustic and intolerant is not wokeness or liberation. You are free to support your candidate, without insulting, threatening or talking down on others. What has killing got to do with voting in an election or discussion on a forum? Who held you in a stranglehold? Am i the one telling you not to go to school or work every mondays? |
Let others put their campaign in Obi's village without insult, threat to life and swearing to wipe family off the earth surface. It's a democracy, ipobic guttersnipes don't seem to understand that. |
When will this project be ready? |
29kobo:My solution wasn't just raising fees, raising fees have not worked in Nigeria. Nigerians only adjust but it doesn't solve the problem. The fees in the public institutions have been raised. Some of them are over 200% what they were just 20 years ago but the problem is even worse. There's a lot of drain and brainlessness around for raising fees alone to be the solution. i mentioned foreign schools and in particular UNILORIN under Oloyede. What worked for them that they didn't join strike for about 20 years? The solution is NEVER strike, strike is a myopic and selfish thing. Look at the foreign schools and their sources of funding. Here's Oxford University. The three main sources of income are teaching, research and residential (38% of the aggregate income), legacies and donations (22%), and investment income (31%). Other income derives mostly from trading activity such as vacation conferences. This is Cambridge below, it's not about taxing students oga. Our major internal sources of funding are: Cambridge Trust, Gates Cambridge Trust, Harding Distinguished Postgraduate Scholars Programme, Research Councils and collectively College and departmental schemes. We need to think outside our strike box, our lectures are not very brilliant. Here's Harvard Harvard is funded, in part, by an endowment. The endowment includes thousands of philanthropic gifts donated since Harvard's early history, many of which were given to support specific aspects of Harvard's teaching and research work. You can read more here UNILORIN like i said didn't break the bank to avoid ASUU strike for over 20 years, so definitely strike or raising tuition alone is not the way out. UNILORIN School Fees 2022/2023 Session. Below is a breakdown of the University of Ilorin school fees for new students and also that of returning students. Amount as school fees is N25,900 for new students. Amount as school fees is N25,000 for freshmen while Amount as school fees for old students is N27,000. You can still read about their current VC's stand on strike here. |
29kobo:This is laughable, i guess you're a lecturer though. So i want ASUU to call of strike because strike doesn't favour government? Are they striking not to favour government?Have i said any lie in all my descriptions of ASUU?Did you for once think about the students and the many families and dreams affected most in all these? ASUU strike in Nigeria is not new to any government like you admitted. It is the students that bear the brunt that you should pity, yet you ask them to raise their school fees to at least 600,000 naira per annum. Just wow. Like i said, schools can run efficiently in Nigeria without strike, they should learn from Oloyede of UNILORIN. That's my solution. The foreign schools they want to be like are not leeches on their governments, they source for funding. That's my solution. |
29kobo:Solution is that they resume work immediately as far as they are expecting to be paid for all the wasted months of strike. They need to be innovative about funding and stop the silly 200% dependence on government for funding. Oloyede was a clear case study of the possibility when he was in UNILORIN. They didn't join ASUU in all these useless and selfish strikes and the school was averagely well managed. He replicated similar with his work in JAMB. Foreign schools that they are comparing themselves to are not government parasites. You must have been in Nigerian colleges, these lecturers are not all that. These useless ones that damage people's lives and destinies. Using student's projects and articles for their personal papers to become Dr. and Professor. This hawkers that turn class rep to affiliate marketer to sell textbooks for grades. Some of their textbooks ma still photocopy from 1980 done in their business centers in the school. These ones need little or no pity, they don't pity the students in their care as you can see and know. |
29kobo:Let's start with, what is their demand and what has the government said. Do you know or you are just venting without reason? |
Okay, wishing we could also vote ASUU out. Who shut down the universities, government or ASUU? If ASUU wants/decide to resume on Monday, they will. Should all other sectors go on strike because they are not world class? Abi what is this one saying, he forgot to tell us that they are all fighting for their own personal agenda. The same shameful education system that will announce elections results with I need more light. They are as useless as the governors that have no brains to generate revenue and run a college apart from increasing student tuition and collecting money for damages and all sorts of rubbish. If you are somehow fooled to think Obi is any better, look at this NL 2010 thread where ASUU blamed Obi for their lingering strike. Obi had no solution different from the current government, he said ASUU is not listening and shunning dialogue. Guess whatASUU accused Obi of, inexperience and deceitfulness. Him Tu Lie, there's nothing new under the sun. https://www.nairaland.com/541948/ASUU-blames-peter-obi-south#7043609 The sun seems to have deleted their link but you can still see vanguard for something similar. Perhaps, they too will delete the truth. i keep insisting these guys are no different from each other and will not do anything significantly better or different, stop touting them as Nigeria's messiah. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2010/10/anambra-varsity-teachers-move-to-end-strike/amp/ |
Hallelu, but he'll allow the garrulous Dino. |
Keyamo goof this one, next time stay on issues. Use his college certificate. |
Him Tu Lie Obi should learn to make his points without silly statistics. The interviewers asked him around 8mins that almost all the 36states have no FDI, how does he want to drive the economy. He proceeded to lie that the interviewer mentioned Borno(except maybe the interview was edited, they didn't mention Borno). The ridiculous part was when Obi said Borno state is 70.9 square kilometers and Sambissa forest is 60,000 square kilometers. Any JSS 3 student knows how ridiculous such a lie is. Sambissa is inside Bornu, it should be less than 1000 square kilometers, while Bornu is around 70,898 square kilometers. You can't keep throwing silly figures and embarrassing the country. People will fact check or verify like he says. |
majamajic:Oh okay, that's true. It can be confusing, lol. |
FFK can debate and stand for 3 hours, i hope you don't plan to vote for him on such crazy criteria. Smooth talk is not good governance. Are you not tired of smooth talk? Na so Osinbande and Obi dey talk every year on The Platform. Osinbande handle economy, we can see the results. Talk is cheap, don't let the gift of gab fool you. |
igbo(India hemp) has tampered with this one's brain. First statement incoherent, defence incoherent. Say no to igbo. |
desiredhome:Lol, he reminds me of someone who can't control his small house but sleeping while the house is burning. He says "Nigerians know the truth na". Na this one wan control divisions, nepotism and insecurity. Someone that all he knows are false misleading economic statistics. It is well. |
ImperialYoruba:He has not lost his mind, only lying as usual. He'll decamp back to either PDP or APC depending on who is majority, but likely PDP as his goons are there. He did same as governor. His hoodwinked followers don't know the mess we're in. |
Atikulate, another reason why i would prefer Tinubu. He has better ideology and will not sacrifice Nigeria for miscreants, even from his tribe. |
The smooth criminal. Interviewer tells Obi, we're tired of politicians promises. How would you handle insecurity. Obi's answer was trust me. The lady asks again "how". Obi says whatever needs to be done, I'll do it. This one get plan so? When Tinubu said to employ millions of young people and bombard the camp of the criminals, we all laugh at him for saying so. |
zeuss:Lol, who made you a judge? Are you an ipob member? |
The desperation is nauseating. i pity the gullible. |
Lol, coming to the Redemption Camp for the VERY first time. i can't imagine the gullibility, i am officially ashamed on behalf of my Christian friends. |
Jollos:He's still more competent, powerful and visionary than the other major contenders, that's why. Ask Lawan, Ameachi, Osinbajo and Buhari. |
Joshthefirst:Not exactly. But i'm continuously inclined to especially when i see the big problem of ipobic Obi supporters, the christianisation of Obi's campaign, and the fact that they are ALL hopeless thieves. |
Kingspin:of course. |
Tor |
It's called video editing, stop this dumb talk. |
