I have 6 brothers and 1 sister, and if you ask my parents, they'll concur with him.

My 1 sister has added more value to my family than the 6 boys put together have ever done. Sometimes, i look at my parents and i feel so much pity for them. Too many male children, lesser gains compared to the investments so far

Some male children are wonderful though, lots of them are very thoughtful. Their parent's pride.

The op is totally wrong. For ALL the male children in his family to be that way, you know it is a problem of upbringing.
Girls are also wayward...sleeping around, getting pregnant, taking drugs,etc. It is what is instilled in the child that shows up whether male or female.

When parents bring up boys to feel that they are superior and should be worshipped, not teaching them how to be humble and to do basic things, what do you you expect? They become entitled and a burden to their parents, wives and society.

It is not your duty to cater for your siblings. You didn't bring them into the world. You also did not beg to be brought into this world and be educated that you now have to pay your parents back.

I think your parents are being selfish. Your dad is working. Isn't he responsible for his offspring. What does he use his money for? He wants you to train your sibling and still send him money even as he knows you are not working? Why can't he train his son. I dont like the idea of burdening children with financial responsibilities.

For anything, your parents should be understanding and empathetic. They should ask how you are faring especially with a child.

I hope we learn from this kind of situation and make sure we have children that we can adequately cater for and even leave an inheritance for rather than making it our children's job to train their younger ones.

Well..i heard that abriba people don't marry outside their tribe. The ladies keep traveling to the village for Christmas hoping that they would meet their tribe men to marry. I do not know how true this is though.

He's preaching the word of God, he didn't ask you to copy his marital lifestyle, he's been married before same with the way he married, both of their spouses are alive and the bible said if you're divorced, you must stay single unless your ex dies.

My pastor is married with children. That is what i see. His life preaches first before his mouth. Any other hidden thing is between him and God and cannot be hidden forever. Besides i worship God and not him.

I didn't say he is pastor. I said he preaches. What exactly is he preaching? That it is ok to live with a woman that you are not married to? Because that is what his life preaches.
