Nacoss25: Good morning everyone. I am a young man newly married to a 22 yr old lady. our marriage is just 2 months old.
Before I met my wife in 2019, she has this male best friend who they have been best friends even before I met her though my wife is a social and jovial person always cheerful, she easily makes friends wherever she finds herself that's her nature and kind of personality.
Right now her friendship with that her male friend is what am becoming uncomfortable with right now because of the so much attention she is lavishing on him. I have complained to her that I am not comfortable with her closeness with the guy but she is seeing it that am trying to cut her off from her friends.
One interesting part of the whole thing is, since we got married the guy has been trying to distance himself from her a bit knowing too well that she is now married but my wife is even the one doing all she could to keep the friendship going the way it has been going. 2 days ago I and my wife were together she called the guy complaining bitterly how he has been distancing himself from her.
My people what do you think I should do to cut down that connection or will the friendship grow week by the day on it's own? My wife is refusing to understand that in marriage there are things u will have to let go.
/ If Emmanuel Macron (43years) were to be African, some deluded fellas will be shouting that he has no respect for inviting his ancestors to attend a meeting. But these suckers flew thousands of miles to discuss African finance in France like glorified slaves. /
Usually a crash like what was witnessed in Crypto is what exposes them--too many hands asking for their money back at the same time just like a run in a bank.
Dem go see armed Fulani and say don't attack them. Make Dem attack of us first then we can defend ourselves. Let them be the aggressors and let us be the defenders so that the whole world will clap for us. Predators vs preys?
If Fulani becomes endangered species, all these nonsense will stop immediately.
I became a fulani headman for a day|their lifestyle| How rise to livestock .hidden truth the media will not tell you
Fulani herdsmen are nomadic Fulani people whose primary occupation is raising livestock. so I have been wondering how they go about their businesses and how they survive. As the adventure king I want to look for them in kaduna, and try to become a heads man for a day,I used the opportunity to ask them about the current issues trending about them and I ask them about the business. Grab your popcorn and enjoy this adventure
/ It defeats the whole purpose if you had to give your AK-47 to the cameraman before taking the pictures so that viewers won't see it.
EgunMogaji2: This is one of the benefits of my metalwork hobby. I can visualize and apply myself directly without any artisan telling me that it can’t be done or this is how we’ve always done it.
/ See DIYer! Good job bro.
I have three industrial welding machines but the wahala na to sit down one place no gree me.
/ I planned to send people in to build a fence but all these herdsmen stuff fear me small. Make person no go disappear and him people talk say I carry am do money ritual. How safe is it now? /
somehow: There is always a reward for everything said or done.
/ I operate with logic not emotion. May be you should. It is a free world. You can drive from Abuja to Kaduna at 10pm. If anything happens to you, you have yourself to blame. /
your comment is actually supporting the killers by making excuses for them and looking for ways to blame the victims.
They are not unknown gunmen, they are IPOB and BSN members, we should stop hiding our heads in the sand.
Ironically, it's people from the region working in the security forces they are killing the most.
/ Not my problem. The ones still alive should take precautionary measures not to be victims.
You can condemn it all you want. The killers are not seeking for your advice. When Lawrence Anini and Monday Osunbor were killing officers in the 80s. Security agents recoiled until they captured the criminals. That’s the only sensible thing to do now. /
somehow: So it's by murdering them you will solve the so called corrupt act? And you're a human being ?
/ Unknown gun men have been killing security agents at the checkpoints. It is idiotic for any security agent to mount road blocks until they capture the gun men. Not that they are doing anything productive at the checkpoints anyway.
If you hear that armed gangs have been killing people in Street B. Will you venture into that street? If you do, then you deserve no R.I.P /
eziagulu: I would've responded to you but I leave you to God. Make enquiry about this people who lost their lives for our people to sleep. Most of us living in conspiracy theories and evil thoughts will receive God's wrath. Both are intellectuals Both are graduate with masters in their respective academic discipline. But they chose to serve our people on security aspect... Think before you talk
/ Graduates with stellar credentials that reduce themselves to extorting money from commercial vehicles/market women on the highways are dishonorable and deserve no respect. Being unnecessarily sentimental won’t change the facts neither will it bring them back. They can go to Borno and mount road blocks if they are serious. I guess the bribes these ones paid to be posted to lucrative SE have gone to waste. /
/ Force/Violence is the only language that Nigerians understand. The masses protested, picketed, prayed, fasted; all to no avail. But just one month of unknown gun men, every leader in Igbo land is now checking their utterances, actions and inactions. Even Ohaneze has turned around and started identifying with the masses somehow unlike before. All the belligerent Governors are being more diplomatic with their pronouncements unlike when they use to act/talk like Emperors.
AmadiAba: Heavily armed Gunmen, whose Identity is yet to be revealed, have attacked an Outpost of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, killing 2 officers, and their rifles carted away in Anambra State.
Sources told IgbereTV that the officers on duty engaged the gunmen in gun duel after which their operational vehicle was set on fire.
The NSCDC Public Relations Officer in the state, Okadigbo Edwin, who confirmed the attack on Saturday, May 22 told IgbereTV that the unfortunate incident occurred in Nneyi, Umueri in the Anambra East Local Government Area of the state.
He said;
“The State Commandant, David Bille, was collaborating with sister security agencies to unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident.
“Some yet-to-be identified hoodlums attacked Civil Defence outpost in Nneyi, Umueri in Anambra East Local Government Area of the state, shooting indiscriminately.
“The officers on duty engaged them in a gun duel. At the end of the melee, two officers of the corps that sustained gunshot injury from the incident lost their lives.
Regrettably, their rifles were carted away after which the official vehicle was set ablaze.”
/ Attahiru died a shameful and dishonorable death.
He was denied by his masters on earth that he tried too much to impress by killing innocent Igbo folks. Some of the fellas he commanded are still in IMO State acting Rambo. This should be a period of introspection—their existence means nothing to anyone. /
Just like in my case, so many graduates in the country are today, traumatized, depressed or even suicidal. Nothing is more depressing than seeing oneself jobless after several years of graduation. More annoying is when there's no finance to even start a business no matter how brilliant the business idea could be. If I have capital or even a collateral to use and get some money somewhere, I would rest completely from job hunting.
My ordeal. Few months ago, I stumbled on a friend on Facebook whom we were school mates back in secondary school. His parents resided outside the state which he normally came back on school resumption and would go back during holidays.
On meeting him on Facebook, taking a look at his pictures, he's obviously doing well and claimed he's working with an international NGO. I told him my pains which is unemployment. Immediately, he was happy and telling me not to worry again that with his connections here and there, I'll get a job. His promise was to fix me either in the NGO, an insurance company, factory work or any other place of which he has links and connections.
We talked extensively and negotiated my movement and arrived I should come over last week. The plans was to stay in his 2 bedroom apartment and until 3-4 months when I can rent my own place. So I moved from Rivers state to Lagos Monday last week with just 16k on me. En route Lagos, we were keeping in touch so to know how closer I am and until I got to Lagos (God is Good Motors park) around 8pm. I called him that I have arrived the park and he said he was coming to pick me.
Long story short, that was the last time his number went. Initially, I thought it was network, or may be temporary low battery. I kept dialling the number through out the night but it never went again. Of course I had no choice than to sleep in the park. Woke up the next morning hoping his number would go but still same. I had no body else in Lagos nor knowing any where as that was my first time in Lagos. So I was just roaming around the park the whole day like a lost sheep, hungry, frustrating and pains but still hoping for his call but none came. When I tried reaching via Facebook and realized I was blocked, that was when it dawned on me that I have to start going back immediately. Already, transport fare from PH to Lagos finished about N10,500. So I was left with about 4k on me. At that point in the evening, I knew my best bet as I said earlier was to find my way back immediately but I didn't even have enough cash for my return. I had no option than to start telling people about my predicament and appealed for help to raise fund to return home the next morning. I was mocked and laughed at while some were asking to buy my phone at a very ridiculous amount. But then at that point, I could have sold it at the ridiculous amount but the phone was the only medium of communication with people especially my mum who was already worried over the journey right from the onset. I kept approaching people to help me and until one man graciously completed the money for me and I paid for my return.
On reaching home, I did nothing than thanking God that at least my case wasn't like that of late Iniobong Umoren. At least I came back home alive...which is the most important thing. But what I don't understand is why the guy chose to be that wicked to me forgetting this world is a very small place. I mean if there was never a job, why did he have to put me through that? Anyways, I have since moved on. Not even swearing/cursing him but leave everything for God. Such is life!
Fellow nairalanders, that is the dairy of a Nigerian job seeker. This leave me with the question, "will Nigeria ever be good for ordinary Nigerian?"
/ That’s what happens when you appraise people’s lives based on the image they project on social media. He is probably jobless and broke as you.
/ This is a big lesson to those who think they are sacrificing for their purported fatherland--Nobody cares about you or your welfare. Attahiru learned the hard way. Buhari didn't care to go. AGF and some Governors were somewhere enjoying themselves. A whole COAS of a country. Attahiru died in vain.
That's why on hearing the sound of gunshots from Boko Haram, the smart ones among the officers run into neighbouring countries. Who Nigeria help? While some senior officers pretend they are mourning, they are already engaging in underground lobbying to replace him. Inside life! /
kopell: Oga spyder. I believe they have always had better quality from inception. People pay for what they can afford then cry on low quality, its just like China items our people go there to request for low quality that will meet minimum standard to max their profit.
/ You are right. People think that Chinese products are inferior without realizing that when you go to China, they show you different samples/qualities of the same product. Once you mention the country of export, they show you the kind/quality people of that country usually buy to be profitable or the standard requirement of each country. When you mention Nigeria, you can guess what they will show you.
/ They were probably giving one another high 5 inside the plane that they marginalized Igbo people in the military not knowing that Almighty God is already pissed at them.
