Christianity Etc › Re: I Have Made Up My Mind To Leave Religion, It's Not Worth It. by InvertedHammer: 3:19pm On Jun 19, 2020
Kenplay:
With my personal Experience, Observation and inner conviction, I think I dont want to be part of any religion again. This thing is truely an opium of illusion meant for people who cant take their destiny in their hands and for a sheeple masses.

Despite withdrawing from religion I found myself even having a better moral compass which I cant explain. We are throwing away common sense, hardwork and universal principles to leave in illusion. At the end of my observation I have come to the conclusion that its what you do for yourself that counts more.

When I see poor people dying of hungry in a country which have the capacity to be the global industrial hub I know we have throw away common sense, Nigeria biggest investment to South Africa is Religious buildings (Church) while here in Nigeria the South Africans brought us MTN, DSTV, SHOP RITE e.t.c which employs thousands of people and gives profit to our Investors inventing in the stocks and shares of those companies I realise religion is lack of common sense.

No amount of religion can make you succesful without application of common sense.
No amount of religion can make your marriage succesful without application of common sense and consideration for your partner.
No amount of religion can a nation grow and prosper without application of common sense, productivity and good policies.

At the end of it I think am leaving religion, its not worth it. Even uprightness and moral comes from a person inner conviction and not because of religion.
/
Religion is for the feeble-minded.
They regurgitate information that has been fed into their brains and swore that the same information is sacred. Think of GIGO (garbage in, garbage out).
The freedom that comes from believing in God and eschewing religion is heavenly.

Not a big deal.

No particular tribe has control over the media unlike before when many tribes were muscled in Nigeria using print media.

Everyone knows the truth. Abike Dabiri failed to recognize that the train has left the station.

Ex-parte orders are miscarriage of justice.

Cases should not be decided and orders issued on presentation by one party in a case. It is noble but Nigerians know how to abuse the noblest of ideas.

So you have been turned to a female in prison?
No wonder you are overtly emotional.

Sports › Re: Chioma Ajunwa: I Built Three Rooms With Abiola’s Money by InvertedHammer:
/
Put a lipstick on a pig, it is still a pig. Abiola was a criminal who stole/looted Nigeria's money. Karma caught up with him when his cohorts did him in.

Fela succinctly captured the escapades of Abiola when he sang I.T.T (International Thief Thief). While at it, let's not forget other great philanthropists of our time, Bar. Fred Ajudua, Victor Okafor(Ezego), Ade Bende, etc. Ajudua contributed immensely to the democracy we enjoy today. Ask Sowore.

If satan donates money in Nigeria, they will crown him a saint. That is one of the major reasons the country is where it is today. Steal N100m, then give the church N10m, give the society N20m and sit back and enjoy your N70m.
You will be crowned the pillar of the society.

Laboni:
How is the toll affecting SE and SS? The idea is just for good road network. I think Abuja-Kaduna was excluded for now because of insecurity. They will still add more in the 2nd phase, who knows. They should also add Enugu-Awka-Onitsha too. The road was nothing to write home about the last time I passed there.
/
They told you that it was excluded because of insecurity? Which road is secure? You already know there will be 2nd phase even when they didn't mention it? Am I surprised? No. Hitler, Abacha, Idi Amin had people who cheered their bad policies. I am surprised that all of a sudden some of you are starting to believe APC government that have never fulfilled a single promise since they started. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. FGN is never honest.

Why bother? FGN blamed Nnamdi Kalu for washing Nigeria's dirty linen in public. As usual, the folks that get hard on at the name IPOB jumped on the fray. It is not just about stating facts, there are people with eternal damnation of not being able to handle the truth.

Total scam alert!

Abuja-Akwanga (Middle Belt)
Kaduna-Kano (North)
Kano-Maiduguri(North)

Every other toll road there will affect Igbo and SS people the most.
From Abuja to Maiduguri (very far by the way) pays 2 toll fares or zero if they do FCT-Kaduna-Maiduguri.
From Abuja to PH will be 3 or 4 toll fares. Besides, the road like Benin-Sagamu is the anticipated moneymaker and that's why it is highlighted in the caption.

How come there is no toll from Abuja - Kaduna?

That's SS/SE and Northern governors for you. They fight their own battles until the last whistle unlike Ambode who had all the resources as a governor in Lagos but chickened out without even a warning shot.

A godfather in Nigerian politics is only as strong as the sanity and patience of an incumbent governor. Every mortal is capable of death.

Who would have believed that politics in SW would be discussed without mentioning Adedibu? Pres. OBJ admitted that he could only be managed but not called to order. Today the name doesn't ring a bell. Nothing lasts forever.

You are not the only ones involved in cybercime, but you are the ones that make the most noise just to oppress others. Chinese, Jews, Russians, Indians can covertly move funds. But your lot will jump on Instagram to show bundles of dollars. In trying to chase clout like Hushpuppi, et al. you end up in self-indictment. Law enforcement agencies love amateur and foolish criminals.

"Overhailing" is the bane of every "money-miss-road" in Nigeria. As it is, inmates will already be fighting over who will take Hushpuppi his new wife in prison.

vicdom:
cheesy
The game is just starting. The short ugly looking swine of Edo state is finished already. PDP should make sure they take back Edo on the same ground that Devil did in 2007 with his "pseudo- No godfatherism in Edo state". All APC rigging apparatuses must be fought to standstill. ThankGod he's the incumbent. With the masses, South-South Governors and other PDP political enchiladas by his side, Osho and his Lagos landlord will be tamed. No going back, we must achieve all these together if PDP can be able manage some disaffections amongst the subsequent aggrieved members of the party who have fought to still keep the integrity of the party going after the famous 2015 tsunami that came and blew away almost all the party had laboured for many years. 2023 will be very interesting cheesy
/
The first move is to declare that Oshomhole's house has a fake C of O. Or that it was built on a government reserve. Before any court injuctions, the bulldozers would have done the needful. That's how godfathers know that their godsons mean business. When the king runs mad, he first kills the kingmakers. Every human is mortal. grin

Romance › Re: Am I Wasting My Beauty And Youth? by InvertedHammer: 12:39am On Jun 16, 2020
PrecioussB:
I am young and beautiful but when it comes to dating maybe because of some failed relationships, I rather stay on my own.

I remember even on valentine's day since i had broken up with my bf, i just decided to chill by myself. Ealking to the store, met some guys you know how they toast now, telling me why a beautiful girl like me is not on a date? and i jokingly replied i have one or just joke along.

Now I'm thinking, i might be wasting my beauty and youth because i have not been dating for long, have the zeal and will but don't have the strength.

Shouldn't I enjoy all those things now before I start looking old? My last relationship really exhausted me.
/
No. You are not wasting your life nor youth.

You are only wasting natural resources.

That's all.

What would have been your reaction towards this matter, If you were the husband?

https://twitter.com/SmartAtuadi/status/1272275117280759810?s=19[/quote]/
I would have told my father-in-law to go to hell.
His son should hustle to raise money the way I hustled to pay the extortion fee.

Final final...return my money and take the daughter back. The family is a leech and must be avoided at all cost.

Out of N400k, they expect the guy to contribute almost 30%. The guy is in hell by marrying from that family. I blame the guy--he is a slowpoke for getting entangled with the family in the first place. They will destroy his home with silly requests supported by an uncompromising wife.

International borders are closed and politicians are forced to share the wonderful healthcare system they developed in Nigeria. Imagine the governor of Abia State running helter-skelter to treat diabetes mellitus and chronic renal disease. Buhari cannot fly to London for otitis media.

It is well.

What was your monthly income when you, as a man took the bold decision of marrying her?

Does marriage really pave ways for more blessings?

I'm thinking of taking the giant step at 30, but really scared of the future.

Please share your experience so that intending husbands like me can get motivation.
/
You should be thinking about income and expenses. A person who makes N100k/month and his whole family (siblings and parents) depend on him can never be compared with a lone ranger who earns N40k/month. God forbids he is a spendthrift who cannot control his expenses. You might as well throw the concept of income out of the window.

Every incentive for marriage is being crossed out. If sex is the bargaining chip, a man should withhold finances as bargaining chip. Here comes the strife--two people in marriage competing to outdo each other. Why bother go through the stress? Get girlfriends and live happily ever after since marriage is gradually turning into a battlefield instead of love relationship.

A country that easily earmarks N25bn "lootable" funds to fix stable NA buildings while neglecting social services. What are the citizens doing? Indifference! Or worse, looking to migrate to places where the citizens fight for their rights. Any more evidence that something is innately wrong with the blacks' mind. Be as it may be, it is extremely difficult for blacks to demand for respect in the global arena when their best are glorified beggars who must be helped to live decent lives. The period we are in calls for introspection but it appears black nations are eternally cursed.
