They are trending off Bad and Boujee. Their 15 minutes of fame is almost over. Chief Keef, Lil Durk, Lil Reese, etc trended better and died off naturally as expected. I give Migos another year before people focus on something else. Their genre of music is about smoking the opps-- promoting blacks killing blacks. Chicago started the trap music and it turned Southside Chicago into the murder city of US. God forbid blacks promote anything progressive. |
The funny thing is that other races in US do not understand an average African-American when he/she talks. They speak ebonics which is some kind of English carpet-bombed with bad tenses, nuances and sometimes outright mumble. And they are from Atlanta? They usually sound re.tarded because other Blacks from the East and West coast find it extremely difficult understanding Southern accent. / |
Prostitute: A woman who engages in sex act for money. It will be fair to assume that most men have knowingly or unknowingly slept with a prostitute before. Harlots, runs-girls, whores, call girls, modern day girlfriends are synonymous with prostitutes. Afterall each one in these groups you deal with, money must be exchanged for services. The differentiating line is becoming blurry as the days go. |
/ Bail conditions can always be challenged. This is Step i....moving to Step ii // |
Bisi is gay. And like most gays, he cannot keep his lifestyle to himself. I don't know if he expects standing ovation on what is purely a private matter. It will be better if he melts into oblivion. This is the problem that people have with gays -- constantly rubbing their perverted lifestyle on everyone's face and expecting no backlash |
Your problem is the radio not the neighbour. I hope I pointed you in the right direction. Solve the puzzle and enjoy the serenity you cherish. \ |
Abiola's government would have been the worst in the history of Nigeria. Goat and yam theory by GEJ comes to mind. He dined with the devil and got consumed. There is no honour among thieves. His co-travellers killed him. Remember ITT? Fela termed it "International Thief Thief" Listen to Fela's song about Abiola and you will understand the devil incarnate he was. His death was a good riddance to rubbish. \\ |
Nonsense. If Ehiogu can die of heart attack at 42, why can't Adeleke at 62? Nobody poisoned him. People die everyday. |
Like Goodluck Jonathan, Nigerian men have the power but don't know how to use it. They think domestic violence is a show of power. Wrong! If only Nigerian men can get together and decide neither to toast nor propose to any lady in the next two years. Only then will they understand the level of power they possess. // |
mavverick:I did a little stint at Alaba International back in the days. My family has been in the business of importing electrical components and accessories even before I was born. There is a place known as Alaba Rago around Alaba International market axis. The place is dedicated to shorting the length of cables. They cut, rewind and repackage then sell to unsuspecting buyers as full length. Sometimes they add pieces together to form a whole. Conniving electricians usually pick out those ones and come back later for their kickbacks. Personally, I will never take an electrician to buy electrical parts. 1. Lift the cable, it may appear somewhat lighter. 2. If you are buying large quantities, pick the suspected one, open and measure it yourself. If the sellers measure it, they are slick with the fingers. Be careful. If short, walk away. You can never win. But you can minimize your loss. |
It is very sad. Although I think folks who are addicted to European soccer league are losers and shouldn't be taken seriously. |
billy187:Dude is in Nigeria and you are talking about appreciating in value in States. 1967 Chevy Impala SS goes as high as $50k. But that doesn't mean if you live in Nigeria, you should run out and buy one. Americans know how to value classics. In Nigeria, we use them to dry clothes. / |
In one week: Emeka Ike vs ex-wife Freeze vs ex-wife Who is next? |
generaliy:Don't waste your money on it. The only thing appealing about it is the unique exterior design. The interior is so 90s like the interior of an old Grand Cherokee. (Btw the same parent company ). Remember it is a Chrysler product. |
manny4u:\ Your TM is in November. Husband is scarce and she no wan hear long stories. She is baiting you with "good behaviour and understanding". Marriage is not dating. After all the marriage rites, she will revert to her true self. Be ready for lifelong of hell. / |
money121:/ Akeensbussy's response tire me. Some people deserve to be shot. \\ |
erico2k2:We learn new things everyday. " cos tank no lid is hard to sell" Who would have thought? |
EgunMogaji:/ 35 blocks/bag x 200 bags = 7000 blocks. Under specific instructions, they mould 40 blocks per bag. That is 175 bags to get 7000 blocks. Multiply N2700 by 25 missing bags = N67,000. Your project manager will have a picture on facebook soon with babes and a table full of drinks and goathead peppersoup with the caption "Life is good". \ |
doctorgyna:\ Even in a drunken stupor, I can give 20 exams more difficult than 2nd MBBS prof. exam. Most difficult exam in the world indeed. A mass failure like this is usually an indictment of the lecturers. Some of them could be narcissists. / |
EfeEj:If you request 3000 blocks, the first 1000 may be guaranteed. After that, the moulders start figuring out ways to "Nigerianize" the job. I will be surprised if the owner gets 3000 blocks. |
bixton:I think that moulding blocks is not worth the hassle considering the logistical nightmares involved. Sometimes people fail to add the miscellaneous expenses to the total cost. If money is not a big issue, just buy vibrated blocks and that will be one less problem to worry about. |
swiperthefox:Some of you are funny. He sent money to her is not a ground to assume liability in a lawsuit. Last time I checked he gave money and cars to others as well. All the evidence Otobo has will be given to Suleimsn's attorneys as well for scrutiny. They can file a motion to compel the prosecutor to share evidence. Lawsuit is like a game of chess. When you think you have it, another surprises spring up. If Suleiman has evidence of Otobo demanding N500m as alleged, his defense team can start the spinning from there. Is she getting an attorney on pro bono? Billable attorney hours, calls, etc will destroy her. This is not a criminal case (the State vs Suleiman). So the burden of proof is on Otobo and she has to pay to get expert testimonies, etc. The court will stand aside, here testimonies and evidence, then pass judgment. Assuming she wins, Suleimsn's attorney will appeal. But first of all, Suleiman must be served the right way. That will be the first litmus test. |
Ralphlauren:You keep mentioning OFM. Are you manufacturing defendants? Suleiman is being sued in his personal capacity but your bias against Suleiman wouldn't let you deal with facts. |
/ All I can deduce is that a lot of you watch too many TV Court series. I wish the case will go to trial. \ |
Ralphlauren:The church was not joined in the suit. Is the church a private enterprise? No. In other words, the church can operate without Suleiman. "He owns a church" is a typicsl Nigerian interpretation of a church but the registration documents will show the structure of the church. Cases like these are for irritation. The goal is to irritate financial settlement out of the respondent. If it goes to trial, evidence of sexual misconduct is not enough to award damages to Ms Otobo. Lawsuits cost money. Does Ms Otobo have the wherewithal to follow through? Filing a lawsuit is the easiest step. The court is the arbiter. The court will not manufacture evidence for Otobo. During discoveries, the opposing attorneys will be given the evidence that Ms Otobo filed. Everyone thought OJ Simpson was guilty until the verdict proved otherwise. You can have all the evidence you want but it must be used to show cause. Real court cases are different from the court drama you watch in television. \ |
AngelicBeing:Yes. Concrete evidence that Ms Otobo must provide. If it goes to trial, Suleiman's lawyers will examine the evidence, scrutinize the hell out of it. Some evidence may not be admissible in court even if legit (eg. In a civil suit, a recorded conversation is not admissible if there is no consent from both parties). Legal technicalities is a beast. Having evidence is usually not enough. Like I said, I hope she has copies of the contract she signed with Suleiman. |
IamaNigerianGuy:It is not as easy as you think. The burden of proof is on Ms Otobo. If she asserts, she must prove. Some of her evidence may not be admissible in court. Moreover, it is not enough to show evidence, she or her lawyers must tie the evidence to the claims. If I were Suleiman, I will ignore the whole thing. The court in Canada has no jurisdiction over the case. |
/ Let me see how the process server will serve him. What jurisdiction does the court in Canada have over this case? For those who don't know, anyone can stroll into a court house, fill the forms, get a case number and voila! Court case. No big deal. Yes. It is that easy. You can finish filing a lawsuit before some people could finish filling JAMB forms. No lawyer(s) needed. I believe her aim is for out of court settlement. She is taking the extortion gimmick too far. I hope she has duly signed contracts between two of them. LOL. \\ |
back2sender:/ Of course. It should be ok. They are more interested in the fees than the content of your passport. |
Nigerian motto: Wealth without oppression is meaningless. Sometimes it seems the victims derive pleasure from being oppressed. \ |
Emekayoung:/ Keep topping up. Some brands are notorious for that. Mostly European cars. There have been many discussions about this issue in many car listservs and nobody seems to know the solution. But 2 weeks is too soon. |
cmon:/ It is alright. Next thing will be to blame your enemies or witches and wizards when the inevitable happens. Who will be in the crash? You. Not your mechanic. You allowed your mechanic to gamble with your life just to save a few bucks. If you can't afford to maintain a car, don't buy one. What you are driving is a threat to your life and to the life of other road users. \ |
