Don't really get your point. ..are you saying it's better to live in Nigeria than the US because of cheaper real estate? If so, why the exodus?

My own point is - a Dr is well compensated in either the developing or developed world and the OP doctor should keep quiet.

How much would a good self con in a good neighbourhood in Baltimore cost? Need this info urgently. Thanks

Pointless complaints. Everybody in virtually ALL the sectors are "suffering" except politicians.

Drs are still one of the most highly paid for their skills and long years in medical school. They are lucky their skills are easily transferable abroad.

People just love to complain. Compare the minimum wage of a civil servant and that of a Dr.

Minimum wage in USA is like $1,160 =N 464,000 vs N18,000 in Nigeria.... we are ALL suffering!
LOL.

Rent on a studio apartment is about $800/month == N320,000 == N3.84m/yr in obscure part of USA.

Rent on a self-contained is N300,000/year in a good part of Nigeria.

Keep comparing...

ImanuelJannah:
Last time, we gave you a gist that 36-yr old woman, Ibikunle Onile was Charged Before Magistrate Court for Stealing. She probably got herself into that mess because she didn’t believe she could become a great entrepreneur and make money beyond her wildest imagination. Today, we bring you a post that will inspire you to financial freedom as an entrepreneur who believes in herself, and help you avoid Ibikunle’s not-so-pleasant fate.

Come to think of it… only one in four companies in the world are run by women. Does this mean that women aren’t cut out for the business world? Addicted2success reports that this subject has been debatable for a long time so we are here to clear the scene with 7 cold hard facts as to why women make great entrepreneurs.

Do Women Make Greater Entrepreneurs? Read On:

1. Women possess strong communication skills and social intelligence. The digital economy requires these skills, and women enjoy a slight edge over their male counterparts (according to numerous studies). A stronger network means they will be better resourced throughout the life of the venture. By leveraging their connections, they will have to reinvent the wheel less and learn fewer lessons the hard way.

2. Female-owned companies tend to offer family & friendly benefits. These include such perks as job sharing, parental leave and telecommuting. They argue that their more worker-friendly policies boost morale and lead to less turnover, less absenteeism and higher productivity.

3. Women also make good listeners. One study found that the collective intelligence of a group rose if the group included more women. They have open minds. They’re not autocratic.”

4. Women start companies to better balance their work and family lives. Wealth is not their primary focus, so most remain smaller. But there are exceptions, like Folorunso Alakija, Oprah Winfrey, Martha Stewart (Omnimedia), Ruth Furtel (Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse), and Lillian Vernon, which make big money.

5. Women collaborate. Women have worked well together since the earliest female enterprises, whether dividing grains in the village or working in quilting bees. Even some of today’s cultural stereotypes have legs, for instance, women’s joint trips to the restroom!

6. Female owners are more likely to have positive revenues. They prefer lower risk opportunities, and are willing to settle for lower returns. Some women feel that pushing profits is “not polite.” More women entrepreneurs are single person businesses, while men tend to have more employees. Researchers have begun focusing on the relationship between testosterone and excessive risk, thus evaluating whether groups of men spur each other toward reckless decisions.

7. Females aren’t afraid to ask for help. Many men (not all) have difficulty asking for help when it comes to something like their very own business. Pride can sometimes get in the way. But most women don’t have a problem admitting that they’re not sure how to accomplish a certain task or what needs to be done next in the building-a-business game. This can sometimes provide an advantage in a well-spring of knowledge from sources that help ground their business more quickly.

SOURCE: http://freshestgist.com/index.php/2015/06/26/7-reasons-why-women-make-greater-entrepreneurs-than-men/
Some of you are always gullible to the antics of the modern day feminists that never invented anything in their lives. If women make better entrepreneurs, where is the litany of women-owned thriving corporations? One of the most important attributes of a successful entrepreneur is the strong will to deal with initial failures, frustration and rejection. How well do women deal with rejection? The untold story is that behind most successful businesswomen are faceless men who act as pillars.

Stop listening to these "quit your job" gurus. There is nothing wrong with working a 9-5 and you need your 9-5 to fund your 6-10 in the beginning.

When you're in the beginning stages of your business, that's the broke, don't know, need help, have no clue stage so why would you quit your job in that state of mind?

These gurus tell you to quit your job but once you quit and don't have any money left to pay them for their services, they are nowhere to be found. They tell you to quit your job, follow your dreams, stop punching that clock for the man, that job is holding you back and all of that is BS.

You are holding you back, not that job. You can work your 9-5 and still have your own business.

Work your 9-5 and your business for as long as you can together. There is nothing wrong with a job check and your business check at the same time.

Do what works for you and your business on your time. Stop letting these people that don't pay your bills dictate how you live your life.

There is no reason to quit 9-5 to start a business.

Quit 9-5 only when one has a thriving business.

Romance › Re: Will My Sister Get Another Man With Very High Sperm Count If She Leaves Her BF? by InvertedHammer: 4:18am On Mar 23, 2017
Scented:
I asked for the ladies in the house to help me out with advice because I feel they would know better in such a situation. Men who may have ideas can also contribute.

I will try and be short as possible. My sis turns 28 this year. She has been down emotionally for some time now and she is very close to me and it has made me down too.

My sis has been dating this guy for about two years now, the guy is 28/29 years I think. She got pregnant for this guy about a year ago, the guy was not ready for marriage and they decided to abort it. Along the line she wanted to keep the baby though, but a medical condition stopped her from keeping the baby. The doctor said the baby was growing outside the womb with complications and an operation to abort the pregnancy was needed even if she didn't want an abortion in the first place. Two other hospitals confirmed this through scan.

Also, another shocking revelation was discovered, the doctor said she has a medical issue which would make it kind of difficult for her to conceive easily, that she needs a man with a very very high sperm count for her to take in and the chances are slim because just about 1% of men have such rare high sperm count. This meant the guy she is dating has the rare high sperm count and she attested to this because she said of the previous 2 guys she has dated before him, they at some time engaged in sex without protection and she never had taken in before, but as for this guy in question the very first time they had unprotected sex she took in for him. She didn't reveal what the doctor told her to her guy though. Just her and myself know about her medical condition. The doctor even suggested she sticks to her guy because there is slim possibility of finding another man with such high sperm count. The doctor even asked that guy enrol for sperm donation in fertility clinics as his type of sperm count is in high demand and rare. The guy doesn't stay in the same city with her so he couldn't be around during the abortion process and the doctor couldn't tell him any of these revelations.

After the abortion she and the guy have still been dating, although they don't stay in the same city. She said they guy loves her but he is not directly clear about wanting to marry her anytime soon. This dude is the tall and very handsome type and I sometime see him as a playboy because he gets a lot of attention from ladies but my sister says she has never seen any red flag to suspect he has ever cheated on her and he respects and cares for her like a responsible man. I presume the guy still being young for a man(28/29 years) and very handsome doesn't feel its right time to get married but its not the case for my sister as she is turning 28 years soon. For what I know between her and the guy, they love each other deeply but the dude is just not ready yet to get married, both of them are working but the dude isn't too comfortable yet, but at least comfortable enough to get married if he is serious. The dude isn't just saying anything about settling down at all!

Now here are the questions I need to ask the ladies in the house to help me;

1-Should my sister tell the dude everything? Would this make him more emotional towards her and consider marrying her soon or he would feel he is doing my sister a favour in marrying her?

2-Should my sister consider breaking off with him and giving a chance to other serious suitors? She is very beautiful and has a job and men keep asking her hand in marriage everyday. Remember the doctor said her medical condition makes it hard for her to conceive and needs a man with very high sperm count, can she find a man with that rare high sperm count in the other men asking her hand in marriage? The doctor said just about 1% of men have such and if you do the maths the possibility of finding another man with such is very low in probability.

3- Should she try to make the guy get her pregnant again and based on the fact she has had an abortion before for him he would not have the guts to request she aborts it again and would be forced to make marriage plans? Ever since she had the abortion about a year ago the guy and her have become very strict towards unprotected sex, she says they don't even make the mistake to try it again. But we know as a lady she can have her way with him if she really wants to get pregnant. Mind you she may get pregnant but it would not be that easy from my family side because my dad has said he would not give his blessings to any of his daughters who gets pregnant before wedlock.

4-Married ladies, is there a way a woman can smartly make a man consider marrying her faster? Are they any tricks to making a man more eager to marrying you or are there proven ways to push a man who has cold feet towards getting married? Please has any lady been in such a situation before and know what to act accordingly? Please help a sister out.

Thank you all!
/

How do you find a man with high sperm count?

Go on a date, have them ejaculate and analyze?

A new transformation has begun in the life of Gladys Kamande, the Kenyan woman who caught the attention of many both locally and abroad when her medical story was shared online after being approached by a little boy. The young boy who was begging her busted into tears after seeing her with an oxygen tank which she relies on for survival.

The woman who travelled to India with her daughter for Trachea surgery and many other interventions at BLK SUPER SPECIALITY HOSPITAL just landed in her country few hours ago without any oxygen support..….

According to reports, there is some slight improvement in the fact that Gladys can survive by breathing freely without the machines for some hours. She however would require consistency in pumping in the oxygen until such a time her lungs will be stronger enough.

We wish her the best and hopes she makes a full recovery.

Please no abuse, just sincere advise from experience people.

I'm living in a state in the south-west, I have a neighbor married with 3 kids. Like due to the economic hardship the husband was badly affected, couldn't pay rent, and provide adequately school fees and feeding (I got to know through their daily heated argument). For almost a month now the wife has constantly been berating, abusing and cursing the husband on a daily basis evwry morning.

Telling him she's packing out and living the children. Fast forward to this morning. I started gearing noise around 730am. I though it was the daily argument session. Untill the first born started screaming. I opened my door and lo and behold.

I saw heaps of luggages by the door (the husband had packed all the wife loads outside) I asked the screaming girl what's wrong. He said I should pls enter their room, I was cautious till I'm sure they weren't naked I opened the door slightly and I saw the husband and wife in a serious fight. The husband was holding the wife's neck about to snuff life out of her. With God's grace and strength I was able to separate them.

They stopped fighting but continued arguing. I entered my room without uttering a word to them. Now the issue is from my experience about there issue the husband said the wife is hit entering the room again. The wife said she's moving out without the kids, the husband said if so he will take the 3 children to ijebu and use them for money rituals. Only God knows what will happen throughout today in my house.

This night will certainly be hot! But what can I do??

The truth is that Nigeria politics is politics of bitterness is i didn't succeed you will not succeed too. The will do any Igbo president what they do to GEJ, they will give him bag of salt & send rain after him.
Remember they are majority in the house & Yoruba's are barber chair, so at the end they will say Igbo man has rule & they will enslave us for another 50yr and we can't talk any more.

Our governors need to come together have a master plan & start the implementation small as they can.
Every body should support Biafra restoration because when you have freedom you manage your resources, plan & execute at the speed you want.
Do you think a yourba man in power will be happy approving your economic & development plan?, the answer is no because it will affect their economy and hausa man will no support you either because of pull him down syndrome, so biafra is the best option for faster development.
If you build, they must come.
SE should borrow a leaf from Nnewi. The town was neglected by successive governments in Anambra. Yet the indigenes continued developing the town. At a point, it had one of the worst road networks in the nation. But the town grew so big that government had to take notice and came in with a grand design. All these states that have FG presence are welfare states. On individual level, South-Easterners fare better than them. Igbo Presidency will not change anything because it will still be the likes of Okorocha and his kind that will be voted in. To what extent did GEJ's presidency transform Otuoke and her indigenes? Enugu is looking like a breathe of fresh air and such tempo should be sustained in all SE states. Folks have money stashed elsewhere and when conditions (security, infrastructure and electricity) improve in the SE, the pace of development could better be imagined.

Outside of the SE region, there is no such scope of development on individual levels.

My Oga, rents here is only N300,000 for each flat each year. It's not so much when you consider Abuja , PH or Lagos collect much more, but many people still build multiple structures in Enugu city. But still, when I see the speed and intensity people are raising multiple buildings in this area of Enugu, I marvel.

I have 2 buildings ongoing at this zone in Enugu, the third one is loading to start in April.

It is good that Igbo folks are now focusing on developing Igbo land. Once people see these, it will motivate others to follow suit. Enugu will be built up soon. I am marvelled at the surrounding edifices around your project. Quiet impressive!
