Christianity Etc › Re: From Christian To Atheist by InvertedHammer: 1:39am On Aug 31, 2016
/
Final destination: God.

Religious fanatics are fighting about which way is the best and only way to God. Christians claim the best way is through Christ. Why? Because bible tells them that Jesus said so. Muslims shout Mohammed because the koran told them to hate infidels while traditionals embrace libation because it was handed down from the forefathers.

As a traveller, one has an option of going from Abuja to Lagos by road, air, train, etc. But each religion does not want to hear that -- their way or no way!

It is dysfunctional for one group to fight over which one is the best. Air travellers spite road travellers who in turn disrespect people who go by train just as muslims spite christians who in turn spite traditionalists. Muslims kill and maim christians. Christians burn and destroy shrines. Traditionalist turn around and use jazz on christians who rain eternal condemnation on muslims. And the cycle continues. What are they fighting for? How to get to God.

I think we can all live together in peace. We are all ignorant.

You have a better chance owning a tank than getting this saw legalised in nigeria

Buy the parts and retrofit to your specs. The most important part is the receiver. Get a barrel that can handle 7.62 x 39mm ammo. And you are good to go.

Car Talk › Re: Why The Obsession With 20W50 Engine Oil? by InvertedHammer: 8:11am On Aug 27, 2016
Itulah:
Yes, mine didn't knock though, but it overheat too often especially when I travel. 5W30 is not advisable in Nigeria weather conditions.
/
Use the manufacturers' recommended oil. Nigeria weather is not the hottest there is. Arizona, Nevada, California can be hotter. Texas weather is very similar to Nigeria's hot and humid weather. It is the same misinformation that make some mechanics in Nigeria remove the thermostat in vehicles and end up killing the engine.
The knocking sound could be from a low grade fuel in your vehicle or sometimes attributed to very low oil level.

That's a good advice, but in Naija, I can't get my income in USD.
Then you are screwed.

If you have a house and a reliable car, you should be alright.
But if you intend to rent, the first two years is never a problem. It is the renewal for the subsequent years that a lot of people tend to have problem with.

I will advise that you stay put in Canada until the coast is clear. Right now, Nigeria is drifting apart in no particular direction. The air of uncertainty is a dreamkiller.

You can still relocate and be comfortable.
Find a way to earn your income in dollars while in Nigeria.
That's all.

Nigeria is the last place you want to be at this time. You are better off in Canada catching opps or smoking on coon pack.

It is called stop loss.

My position:

1). Anyone but GEJ.

2). As I always say, Buhari is nothing without Idiagbon.

I didn't push your finger to vote for Buhari. As an adult, you should take full responsibility for your vote. From all indications, ain't stepping into Nigeria until after 2019 or Buhari changes.

cool Pronouncing FEBRUARY as 'FEBUARY'. When you pronounce this word, the 'U' and 'A' are to be silent. Pronounce it as if you are saying 'FEBRY'.

9) When you pronounce WEDNESDAY, the 'D' should be silent. It should come as 'WENSDAY'.

10) When you pronounce POLICE, the 'O' should be silent. It should come as 'Plice'.

Godbless!
/
Language is a mode of communication. If you say febry, wensday, plice and nobody understands you, the effort goes to a waste.

February == feburuwari
Wednesday == wedinezdey
Police == polis or polishi. (depending on how many teeth you are missing)

China, the engineering and mathematics brain base of the world does not teach both courses in English. Go figure!

What beats my imagination is...

Nigerians with little bit of money will go to their villages and destroy shrines claiming that traditional religion is evil. The worshipers are accused of idolatory. The next season, the same Nigerians fly to Israel to visit historic monuments, collect sands, bath in "spiritual" rivers to mark their christianity. They build fancy houses decorated by an idol on a cross carved by a local artist, worship the same idol and claim it is the child of God. African lives are continually being shaped by the West and regrettably, Africans are willing adherents. Two perfections exist in Nigeria: 1) God 2) Wealthy folks. Anyone can build houses in their villages for folks and be crowned a saint. Igbo people had folks like Ezego, Joneb, Maurice Ibekwe, etc. Some were even made kings against tradition because they were philanthropists. Remarkably, they all died premature death. Poverty has reduced Nigerian lives to money, money, money.

India and China have traditional beliefs that did not deter them from progress. Israelites are not christians and they are progressives.

What is it with Africans that buy into christianity and still are the scum of the earth. Africans will remain perpetual slaves. It started with the Middle Easterners and the West that brought islam and christianity respectively. Now the Chinese are coming...

I keep saying this, that the bulk of people who voted this man to power were around 18-27years of age. They knew nothing about this man, they only relied on his sweet words which were new to them. Most of them were very lazy to research more about him beyond what he said. The man is the most unreliable person one can have as a leader.

LOL.

Buhari was rejected three times before. What changed?

Jonathan became so spineless and clueless that even a goat would have defeated him in that election.

...And that's how the rejected stone became the cornerstone.

Blame Jonathan. His dereliction of duty threw up Buhari.

Jonathan is never a leader.

Is it difficult to understand?

He has been an usurper all his life -- relying on providence and others' misfortune for progress. Like the witches deceived Macbeth that no one born of a woman could defeat him, Jonathan's handlers deceived him that goodluck is all he needed under the assumption that past performance is a guarantee of future results. Oh well...!

Okorocha's position is very laudable...only in utopia.

But Nigeria is a fantasy land.

In a perfect world of Okorocha's vision, Buhari would not have given out all the very important security and NNPC positions to his Northern brothers.

I am not surprised. It is when things could benefit Igbo people that words like equity, fairness come into the Nigerian political lexicon regrettably championed by one Igbo politician with tacit support of phantom progressives.

Therefore, I can confidently albeit respectfully say that Okorocha is a mo.ron.

Raising money is not a crime. You can start a gofundme page for money for your weekend binge.

Celebrities › Re: Stella Dimoko-Korkus React To MAYOWA Scam Allegation by InvertedHammer: 2:41pm On Jul 29, 2016
I don't see the scam in it.

Mayowa is sick. It would have been a scam if the picture is fake. The charity organization decided to help raise the fund. Instead of receiving payment through their organization, they opened a gofundme account that paid directly into Mayowa's account. #mistake1. Red Cross and others make sure that funds or materials go through their accounts only, then disburse later.

Toyin found out that her organization has been locked out of the money. She raised hell. I guess she or her organization did not discuss the details of the deal with Mayowa's family before hand.

This is what happens when someone runs a business by improvisation instead of taking out time to learn the details of the business. Toyin screwed up.
