/ None. I don't need the headache. You will be one oil change away from becoming a frequent flier to the mechanics. And it is downhill from there. Finally it becomes difficult to know who/what is the driver. You or the vehicle? \ |
Tonylyte:/ It is the North because they did social study of Nigeria and found out what works. Power is not handed out easily in s plater of gold. Igbo people tried peacefully through MASSOB and got annihilated. SS borrowed from the North, tried the same thing and got rewarded. Igbo people sit in Nigeria today wallowing in wishful thinking that after some years, other ethnicities will call and hand over the presidency to them. I tell them--dream on. Igbo people are finished politically in Nigeria. That's all. And it shall remain so for a very long time as long as they keep attaching emotions and sentiments into politics instead of their interests. |
/ The main advantage GEJ may have is that OPEC has become inconsequential in the global oil market. If Nigeria oil were to be in high demand as before, GEJ will be covertly taken care of. They got Abiola and Abacha. So erasing a president thatknows his way around Sango Ota bottle content will be a walk in the park. \ |
GEJ has already lost the election. Even if he wins, his credibility is zilch because it is believed that he engineered the postponement of the election to finesse the rigging maneuvers. If after all these abracadabra, GEJ is announced the winner, Nigeria will know no peace for the next four years from internal and international pressures. Nigeria's economy is too fragile for international sanctions. Some people do not know the implications of what is going on. They fail to see beyond their enclaves. / |
Abagworo:/ The handwriting points to impending bloodbath but people are not paying attention. The Northerners do not take prisoners. To them, life means nothing. If you go to Kano and Maiduguri today, you will still see s lot of SE people moving about like everything is well. How foolish can some people be? The same way some Nigerians stayed back in Libya during the uprising playing ostriches, until the Libyans rounded up and massacred them. GEJ and family may be fully protected, but are the masses? My biggest concern is that Igbo people have always been the sacrificial lambs in Nigeria. And instead of taking preemptive actions to forestall future occurrences, they will ignite their demise by their utterances, actions and/or inactions. |
jaybee3:/ You can't be running in when a lot of people are running out. Give or tske , 2 months after elections before going to Nigeria. \ |
/ When this rain falls, everyone will be soaked. Those who make peaceful changes impossible, makes violent revolution inevitable. GEJ is moving the goal post in the middle of the game (that is assuming the source of this news is credible). When you steal to the extent that the owner notices, all hell will break loose. The North and SS are gearing for war. As ususl , the SE and SW are preaching and postulating. But when push comes to shove, it is always the SE that receives innumerable body bags. Guess who are the ones hailing GEJ? The same group that stands to lose most when it starts. SMH. \ \ |
\ What I know is that GMB has no anti-corruption credentials. Like Shehu Shagari, GMB was a weak president ( a figure head) placed in position by the North to retain the position they perceived as their birthright. The backbone and foundation of GMB's presidency was Idiagbon. He was fierce, furious and unyielding. People would rather go through GMB than him. Before IBB could overthrow GMB, he made sure that it was while Idiagbon was outof the country else it would have been bloodbath at Lobster close. With Idiagbon out of the way, IBB's coup was as smooth as a hot knife sliding through butter. I am tired of GEJ and his lacklustre approach to governance. But I know that GMB will be equally as, if not more recalcitrant than GEJ. As inter alia stated in my earlier submission, GEJ or GMB, Nigerians are going to be dry-humped. The sooner Nigerians buy lubricants, the better because the disappointment is going to hurt especially as no one can rule by fiat in democracy. / |
/ I no get time for Houston matter again. This is how it starts. And ratatatata goes the M-16....and it is over. Or lover boy feeling like superman travels to Nigeria on family assignment and gets assassinated... People will say na enemies at work. \ |
100Cents:/ Because some of them are not at the Grammy. They walk up to the sign and take pictures like every other Jones does and claim to be there. Anybody here can go and take the pictures especially after the event. Who will know the difference? \ |
/ What is wrong is fvcking over your hard-earned money to another human under the guise of appeasing God. You cannot bribe God. Give the money to the poor around you. Stop financing another being's lavish lifestyle while you live in squalour. There you have it. \ |
/ You can form and go to Mr.Bigg's, Tantalizer, etc. But if you need real food, na buka way. Everything is fresh and tastes closer to home cooking unlike Mr. Bigg's, etc. that cook rice halfway, garnish it with extra maggi/knorr and pepper and expect the "latter-day formers" to fvck over N1500/plate. If belle never run you after Mr. Bigg's, Tantalizer, etc, you no go respect yourself go Mama Iyabo joint go chop. ![]() Buka all the way! \ |
mobuch: ![]() You are crazy ![]() |
ArslordBaba:/ Call your standby generator. \ |
/ Big deal! Pepper, onions, garlic, salt and groundnut oil should come handy. Owl peppersoup on my mind \ |
/ If you have never lived in the North, this is what it usually looks like when shit pops off. It is advisable for Southerners to move now they still have the opportunity b/c when it comes down to it, Law Enforcement officers can only stand by and watch the almajiris go haywire. They are like ants. \ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EY6EvuUmirw |
Nutase:/ Why don't you include the direction to Ago Palace since you have just done a free advertisement for the cougars over there? I am sure a lot of jobless or underemployed NL'ers will not mind partaking in these paid org.ies. \ |
linusbnn:/ GEJ wants to buy more time to enjoy Aso Rock. Since when do politicians in Nigeria start caring for the masses? The level of political chess game being played now is well beyond your comprehension. So, go ahead and entertain yourself with any excuse you deem fit. It is not about the masses. Jonathan is just being selfish. He didn't realize that 4 years would fly by so fast. Nigeria is not an island. If GEJ messes up the country so much as to bring international sanctions, the masses will suffer tremendously while GEJ and cohorts will be enjoying their loot. And you think N200: $1 is bad now? Then it will be N500+:$1. Be careful what you wish for. \ |
makzeze:/ @ the bolded. This is the only reason. \ |
Zico5:/ Take this from me... At this point, GEJ is no longer in control. "They" are making him so paranoid as to hand over control to them to maintain the status quo. One can only hear the voice of Jonathan, but the worry should be the invisible and invicible hands of "Essau" Ala adighi mma bu uru ndi nze -- the profiteers, that is. \ |
oduastates:/ The country is going to burn. And it will start as soon as the rigged election result is announced. The postponement has amplified the crescendo. Many people will most likely die in the post eelection brouhaha. \ |
/ Lol. I am enjoying the comments especially the riff-raffs who are jubilating even when they havenothing to gain from it. The hawks around the presidents never let go easily. From IBB all the way to GEJ, they want to stay in power at all cost. They were able to keep comatose Yar'Adua in Aso Rock in order to continue the pillage of Nigeria resources. What makes any sane person think they will walk away easily this time? Some people really think that this is about GEJ. No! Even if a monkey is the president, they will still play the same game. The cabals are stronger than people can imagine especially these days that voices of dissent can be muted with dollars. Like I stated earlier, there is something about Aso Rock that once tasted, occupants would not want to leave peacefully. If GEJ is very sure of victory, PVC issues and security challenges would not have come up. Talking about cabals, didn't people read how Chris Uba (an Igbo civilian) was able to commandeer some soldiers into Ekiti (in Yoruba land) to rig in the current governor? It is never about ethnicity, religion nor level of education. There are special interests that do not consider any of the yardsticks that must be protected all cost. \ |
madgoat:/ To marry go hard this lady. How she wan know who loves her abi na money the suitor dey pursue? \ |
sweetestboi:/ That's assuming that those people are students \ |
Mikolo70:/ I have no reason to hate D'Banj. Just you know...because someone is posing with a car and calls it his own (especially on social media) doesn't mean it is his own. You should know that. And D'Banj should have passed that stage if he is not trying to prove something. There are different levels of being broke. If you are waiting for D'Banj to panhandle, you may have to wait for a long time. Hero worshipping always gets the best out of people. / |
Mhizkel:/ He didn't say he bought a jet. Most people commenting on this lack exposure. That's all. When you are promoting a product, it is customary for the company to provide limo services, etc. which are usually rented on the corporation's account. Contrary to what someone else said, that is not the interior of a Rolls Royce. It is a limo. And every limo is custom made. So what's the big deal? For the fact that he is posing with such rented item of luxury led credence to the fact that he may be broke after all. He is trying too hard. Who is he trying to impress? \ |
Obinoscopy:/ You think this is a smart move? Lol. He just shot himself in the legs. If the election is postponed and he wins the election after, the country will be thrown into chaos. Postponement should have been deliberated but not one week to the election. GEJ could win the election but going into panic mode and frenzy will make things worse. He is heating up the polity unnecessarily. If I were him, I will fortify my security esp. with the likes of IBB, OBJ, GMB and their esprit de corp minions lurking around. Things usually start small and can, and do get out of hand. \ |
Kennywills7:/ What has humility got to do with it? He is just desecrating the office of the President. That's all. The President shall not bow or kneel in front of his subject. His sacrament is with God. And Adeboye is not God. Kneeling in front of Adeboye connotes that he is subservient to the authority of Adeboye. Jonathan. Jonathan. Jonathan. SMH. \ |
/ What beats me is how saharareporters always report news before it happens. I read a few days ago that this trio would put out this press release. And bingo! Moving on...GEJ is his own worst enemy. The spineless dufus should live with his weakness. I remember when he nominated Festus Odimegwu for the NPC, the North cried foul and he capitulated. I can't wait for the expose' from his lieutenants when his tenure ends. They will shred him to pieces. I don't support GMB. But GEJ's incompetency cannot be forgiven. Most people voting for GMB do so to spite GEJ. Learning is a continuous process. GEJ has proved that education is overrated. Or education in Nigeria, if I may add. His intellectual capacity is well below NCE level. Then again....who studies zoology(the least competitive course) to doctorate level? \ / |
/ Not that it is any of my business... But where is the written rule that once you have it, you will always have it? Heck! Mike Tyson blew $300million. Evander Holyfield is barely hanging on after being worth millions of dollars. Allen Iverson had millions. There is a whole lot of broke artists and ex-stars in the universe. Are you aware that Dan Amokachi used to have a private jet? What of Victor Ikpeba who used to live like a king? My point is that D'banj being broke is not news. He will not be the first and will not be the last. I get am before no be property. Every effort to make money by D'Banj does not equate to being well off financially. After all, even if he is truly broke, is he not supposed to continue to hustle? Or you want him to move back to the village? People can speculate all they want, only D'Banj knows his true financial status. It is either he is ok or he is living on past glory. \ |
/ THE MOMENT OKONJO IWEALA HEARD THAT ONLY $1.5bn WAS MISSING... AND RECEIVED BANK ALERT FROM HER SHARE OF UNDETECTED PORTION OF THE LOOT... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXBA60LYsCQ |
\ Anybody can sign anything in politics. It has no bearing and not enforceable. Chris Uba had Ngige sign documents. Orji Uzo Kalu had T.Orji sign papers. Chimaroke locked in Chime. Obasanjo brought in Yar'Adua/GEJ. And others. What happened at last? No be to give water to monkey wahala dey, na to retrieve cup after be the real yawa. The only one that will bow down to a politician is someone who has not been sworn in. When an ambitious new king ascends the throne, the first victims are always the kingmakers / |
