Politics › Re: MKO Abiola’s Last Interview by InvertedHammer: 7:41am On Jun 13, 2013
adenitemi: I have an audio recording of that conversation. It still beats my understanding why Abiola was that cheerful!
He was cheerful because he forgot that one's best friends are his/her worst enemies. He was counting on his "friends"--IBB, Abacha and others.

Abiola's life cannot be treated as a buffet line where one can pick and choose. It did not start nor end with June 12. To understand the man Abiola, a comprehensive appraisal of his life (business and personal) while on earth is mandatory. His history in totality is non-flattering.

In politics, there are no permanent friendship but permanent interests. Bola Ige, Abiola, Harry Marshall, etc are dead witnesses to this principle.

9jamum: What’s the single most difficult aspect of single parenting? I know, we all have our different answers as the individual challenges differs from state to state and country to country. I complete agree with the fact that a role meant for two mates now belongs to an individual is enough to break one down with enough stress to last a life time....blablablabla....
1.Maintain a relationship with God.
2. Seek out role models:
3. Find a work schedule that suits your life style and family.
4. Do not freak out over things beyond your control –
5. Do make out a ‘me – time”.
6. Be yourself.
Finally, this tend to reduce or completely take the pressure off you whilst spending more quality time with your child (ren).

Celebrities › Re: Michael Jackson's Chaotic Bedroom In Unseen Photos: by InvertedHammer: 4:17pm On Jun 12, 2013
ROSYL: Michael was a grown man who was a rich drug addict. Why should a concert promoter be liable? He obviously withheld medical information from this company. What happened to personal responsibility? Does that exist anymore?
Because superstar celebrities are managed as businesses b/c like corporations, they provide revenues and a lot of folks depend on them for taxable incomes.

The promoter is liable. The lawyers and others in the business understand this concept which is why the law court gives them the platform to seek for compensation.

Politics › Re: June 12 Annulment Was Payment For Abiola’s Evil Deeds – Sen Owie by InvertedHammer: 3:59pm On Jun 12, 2013
Nigerians like to identify with the unknown.

If OBJ or GEJ had died during election or continuation brouhaha...Nigerians would ascribe them the title of Messiahs we never had.

Any one who believes that Abiola's government would have ushered new era in Nigeria is only day dreaming.

The same actors, the same players, the same audience...Yep! Some suckers believe that criminal Abiola had the magic wand b/c his candidacy was marketed well by the same interests he would have protected.

Wait a minute! Was OBJ not marketed well too from the prison? We believed he would be a trailblazer b/c God delivered him from abyss. Boy, were we wrong?
Politics › Re: June 12 Annulment Was Payment For Abiola’s Evil Deeds – Sen Owie by InvertedHammer: 3:47pm On Jun 12, 2013
Afam4eva: Whether it was a payment of his evil deeds does not distort the fact that he won the election and ought to be crowned. If the Nigerian populace decide to vote in satan as their president, who are we argue otherwise. We're in a democracy.
The senator did not say that Abiola did not win the election;
Neither did he say that it was not the fairest election in Nigeria.

He categorically insinuated that "Karma is a bi.tch!"

Fela Kuti called Abiola out before the saga even began

Brilliance9000: Why do people always doubt a belief system that predates Christianity and Islam? Do you all think our ancestors were that foolish to have worshiped these gods? These gods date back to thousands of years, we are talking about 10,000+ yrs before the arrival of Christianity and Islam. 99.9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% of Nigerians have no clue how Christianity and Islam came to Africa...I'm sadden to say this but have to. How could God bring a religion to us by the same people that enslaved, and drowned our forebears en route to the New world....over 1 million of our forebears perished in the Atlantic. I'm not asking you to disbelieve or disabuse yourself of modern religion...NO, all I 'm saying is, learn to REASON AND THINK.

Have you observed that the more educated one becomes, the less they think of or give credence to modern religion? This is not by happenstance, it's because they are thinking more critically and saying...this ain't right. Something is wrong somewhere. I will clarify this for those those nescient Nigerians who see this as fruit of Atheism and Agnosticism....NO it isn't. They still believe there is God but do not believe in unsubstantiated religions....aka Christianity, Islam and many others.

Just out of curiosity, where were the shrines when white people came running amok and enslaved the whole Africa, Nigeria inclusive?

yeboyes: Story story! The fact that he is an Anambra boy makes me believe he is a Drug Baron.Just go to South Africa and see how Igbos of Anambra extraction are dealing in drugs. The same Anambra boys own almost 40% of the hotels in Hillbrow ( a drug dealing zone). These are where they stash their drugs and conduct their business. These Anambra boys operate like the Chinese Mafia in South Africa. They are into every crime imaginable,Drug Dealing ,Prostitution rings,419 e.t.c you will find Anambra boys there.Just ask any body in South Africa about Mariston Hotel or Mimosa Hotel. The South African Government had to shut down Mimosa hotel because of complaints they received from concerned South Africans. The hotel was inhabited by Anambra boys and a was drug and prostitution haven. They even have documentaries on Youtube where these Anambra boys were openly confessing to dealing drugs on CAMERA!

On another scale, Nigerian women have done worse to their husbands including but not limited to assassination, poisoning, ejection, etc. because of money, assets. This man is still alive to fight another day, u know.

Every man's prayer is to marry an honest and God-fearing wife; these traits have no tribal, racial or continental boundaries.

The level of effort/hustling I saw in Nigerians when I visited China made me believe that if these folks could apply 70% of the effort in Nigeria, they will be millionaires.

But heck! Everyone already bought into the hype of being a Diaspora Nigerian.

Politics › Re: Mixed Reactions On Enugu's Kia Police Cars by InvertedHammer: 2:42am On Jun 08, 2013
Okija juju: How effective would a V4 KIA Rio be in a chase against a V6 vehicle? Very ineffective.
Against a V8 vehicle even worse.
The effectiveness of the police can never be measured by the car they use. Remember that the existing Hilux vans were also given to them brand new. The Hilux is a V8, 4wd drive car that is also all terrain. Yet they wrecked them. At some point, they were also given Prado SUVs which they also wrecked.
The Nigerian police would wreck these cars in no time. That's why we a re not so excited about this move.
Have you ever seen NPF chase any vehicle before?

The governor should have given them a long bus to accommodate all the people they usually round up illegally at the drinking joints on trumped up charges especially as Xmas draws nigh. How many "suspects" can you fit in these small cars? Loss of revenue to the police,if you ask me. With the Hilux, they were able to squeeze in at least 6 suspects.

So, give them these Innoson buses and the streets will be rid of "criminals" every night.
80 "criminals" x N5,000 bail amount = N400,000 per trip.

I give these cars 1 year to exist.

And there is this thing about making eye contact with someone and the next question is: "What are you looking at?".
Best answer is walk away because that is a question that has no right answer.

Everyone is watching the HnS formation in Eu/$ on daily. We are going into Summer in US when trading desks are scantily staffed. I suspect that retail traders are waiting to jump on the break. There is increased potential for fake out...price breaks the HnS support and violently reverses and never looks back demolishing all the stops on the way up while ignoring all the news, fundamentals and signals. Some people refer to it as "Stop Hunting".

Historically, May is a down month for Eu/$

Trade around this price with caution and tight STOPs. But if breaks and continues, it will become a sweet ride

You can modify your approach and leave out all these "As a creative..","As you can see"," As a fast learner".
--Check your spellings.
--Check your grammar.
--Know when to use capital letters.

I will assume that this is a rough draft. A lot of students will learn from this b/c I have seen terrible
cover letters and CVs in Nigeria.

The letter is too long

This MASSOB drama is becoming increasingly embarrassing as the years go by.

It is either they speak the Nigerian language or forever shut up.

The few like Ombatse, OPC, BH that speak the Nigeria language go scot-free every time even though they
come with the greatest level of provocation.
