So guys, there is this news about uber rider jumping into lagoon. What is the implication for the driver? Any lesson to learn? Please let's talk about this too.

Sometimes, issues just come into complicate one's life.

The driver will probably be detained for a while because of investigations. If there are evidences pointing to the rider being suicidal?: The better.

If Na me, I go tell her to walk back into Kakawa street, or make she call me when she reach Fire service for front.

Maybe you don't understand the discussion, don't compare Van Dijk to the likes of Terry, Fagbo and Vidic, even Kompany, they are not mates at all. He never reach that level. For example, see the picture below.

If you want us to compare him with current defenders, of course, he can make top 3, but the main thing is, you need to agree that that boy is not one of the best ever in the EPL, not yet.

And yes, we will be here to have this conversation again in a couple of years from now.
So you agree that he's one of the best in his time. Nowhere did anyone compare him to Terry. You can show me that if you see

One nauseating attitude on football threads is talking negatively about players. I don't see anything spectacular with his defending, but i won't take away the fact that he's currently one of the best defenders we have in the world currently.

All these comparing him with Terry, Vidic and Uruguay 40's set doesn't make any sense. Presently, he's one of the best.

You dont like him? I don't too. But he is what he is today. Accept that fact and/or make the argument engaging by comparing his stat with those who are competing with him

He won UEFA player of the year in 2018/2019 season, as of today, that's his best, so he is right to pick that. Meanwhile, I really don't see him beat that 2018/2019 performance till he retires.
Maybe you're the spokesperson for Heaven, i don't know. But till then, let's compare his stats with defenders that are playing currently.

There are over 200 defenders actively playing across Europe. Why must it be a 2007/2008 stat that you need to prove how overrated he is?

I use their Best seasons to compare them,..... I didnt use Van Dirk Southampton and Celtic statistics........
he contested for world best with this same Statistics, so u can't even bring dis up,

I have told you, Van Dirk pattern,..... He stays behind while his defensive partner mark, bfor u will see him,.... Dats why is tackles and interception added together is not up to half of his Clearance...
How do you know this will be Van Dijk's best season? Has he finished playing?

I'm not interested in Dijk's pattern. I'm not concerned. But make your point educative and purposeful by comparing Van Dijk's current season with Smalling's current season or any other defender.

I could as well dig up a stat from the 90's to compare with Dijk, and it won't make sense.

I DNT have strength to argue,... If not I for post am for their thread....

Van dirk played all the 38 games without red card...... Vidic played 34 games with 2 red cards.... The rest also didn't play all the 38 games
As much as a lot of football fans know that Dijk is overrated, you comparison is abstract and makes little sense

You have to find a common ground to compare both entities.

Maybe I should compare Raul's Gonzalez 2003 season to Aguero's 2019. How will it make sense? One's carrier has ended, meaning we have seen the best of him. The other is still actively serving. Haba

Wait for Dijk to end his career and compare, or use a current player this season to compare the stats. Even the Smelling own wey you post na old season. Put Smalling current season stats so e go make sense

Ogas in the house please assist with this.

I picked an Indian rider yesterday to Nike Art Galary he just came into Nigerian for a brief work and will be leaving tomorrow but he want me to take him round town today to the best and beautiful places.

Please kindly assist me with beautiful places both on the mainland and highland.

Also, I've been thinking how to go about with the charges with him, you know how tight fisted indians are. He wants us to start by 10am today.

I'm 7trips away from 3% on uber, else I would have preferred and online trip.

So guys, your assistance are needed urgently.
I'll suggest you stick to the island. And maybe settle for Yaba on the mainland, so you won't journey much

Lekki Conservation centre
The Palms
National museum
Lekki leisure lake
Twin waters

These are just few places that will save your time

As for price? #130,000

#30,000 for you, #100,000 for VIO grin

u share ride for cash, isnt what taxi business is all about

before the app, there was telephone and your smartphone, people order call taxi by calling taxis through their telephone and smart phone, the app is just the replacement of the telephone or calling by smartphone, the business is taxi business.

so operating a taxi business with an app doesnt make it another thing, it is still a taxi business

so what are taxi people doing, even though they are rough, arent they ride sharing
Sorry ma/sir

But why is the "clamping down" not on Uber and Bolt? Why is it the car owner?

In other countries that Uber was booted out, it was actually Uber that the government tackled, not the driver. Uber accreditates the driver, verifies him. Uber should be in charge of the license, not the driver.

My opinion

I thought you deliberately sat out laughing at us and all the VIO-Uber drama after keke and marwa bans.
Laugh? undecided

Common bro. I can't laugh at the problems of someone's hustle na. That's inhumane.

Its painful seeing how the government is making life tough for the masses. Personally, i dont think the panic here brought the government's attention to this. Drivers here are like 4% of the drivers in Lagos(no jokes). If you spend some nights on Allen, or Northwest(when they were still allowing drivers to sleep there), you'll know what i'm talking about.

As for the situation, now would be a better time to lead a peaceful walk, not to Uber, but VIO's office at Alausa. Shebi Uber drivers are graduates? Una fit carry them go court first, make court stop the clampdown while you guys think of the next step (I don't know if this makes sense).

Uber has acknowledged that this is an issue. It would be weird to still live in self denial.
