What about your family? What are they doing about it?

Please take responsibility for your own life and try not to depend on your Mother-in-law(I wonder why you call her that, when you never marry the pikin)

Try and take care of yourself and the baby. Let your family support you too. As long as the woman is abroad, she'll trust her sister more than you. There's absolutely nothing you can do about that, until you legally marry her son

Wise up aunty.

Fair point. The Govt is not taking food from anyone. In any same environment you dont expect to see rickshaws and okadas on major highways. Is the accidents or traffic they cause on a daily basis?

They can still work in the streets. Angroiboman is right to some point, but I dont support the idea of wishing death on anyone.

Keke and okadas shouldnt be plying the highways plain and simple.

This is a good step in the right direction.
They are banned entirely from operating in the local government. Highway, or no highway

No more Keke in the whole of Lagos island, Ikeja and the remaining three

The reasonable, sensible and most intelligent Nigerians are the ones that voted for I DONT CARE

The reason is simple

1) Nigeria's political sphere is fcked. It has nothing to do with Buhari. If he leaves, we are fcked. If he stays, we are still fcked

2) Most Nigerians are docile, stupid and they are the most tribalised people in the world. Even if you kill all politicians today, we will still elect new ones based on our tribe and religion. And in the end, we end up electing nonsense

I could go on and on, but let me give enough space for the person below to type smiley

The 13% are actually the most sensible in the country currently

After spending 11 years with a man, you still chat up a supposed childhood friend, telling him you miss him, AND WISHED YOU GOT MARRIED TO HIM?

If your husband was doing same with another woman, would you feel comfortable about it?

Now, you want to buy another phone to continue your chats Abi?

If you want peace to reign, delete that "Childhood friend" from your life. That guy will ruin your marriage, sleep with you, and STILL NOT MARRY YOU. I'm telling you this as a guy

Don't destroy your life because of somebody else. Block that guy entirely from your sphere.

I understand you bro but you didn't consider how many lives have been lost due to the menace they cause every day on the road. I think our society will become better when we prioritize life over money because money can always been made in another way but life cant. So pls next time you are thinking about source of income, think about lives too, this new policy will save. PS I lost someone due to okada menace
Abuja-Kaduna expressway is notorious for kidnapping crimes. The government should close down that road, after all so many lives have been lost there

Oh, air crashes are very fatal. I'll suggest the government bans airlines and shut down airports to avoid those crashes

The problem we have today is not because of Okadas and Kekes littering everywhere. The problem is ENFORCEMENT from the government.

Why is it that the same danfos that are parking anyhow and causing traffic at Ikeja Under bridge, will park well and shut their doors when they get to Alausa? Like someone wrote earlier, why can't the government stop registering Kekes since they know they are becoming much, and maybe a menace to the society?

FRSC sees a corolla that is road worthy, yet they'll book him. A danfo with no good tyres, no brake lights will be allowed to pass. The danfo crashes into something, passengers die, and then we say danfos are a menace. What about the FRSC and VIO that turned a blind eye nko?

Accidents don't just occur. There is always a cause, and 98% of the time, it's caused by whoever is controlling the equipment. If the person you lost in a bike accident had safety measures put on, the bike was observing it's speed limit and road signs, and the machine was in good condition, it will be highly impossible to have an accident.

Tomorrow when the government fails in its responsibility to control traffic, they blame uber and bolt and then, ban them. One man too in his G wagon will be saying "God bless LASG"

The government is failing in its responsibility to provide security and free traffic, so they decided to throw the baby and the bath water

I am not supporting the government neither am against them but let me just say this. Bikes and Keke was stop on major express road where our regular danfo plus. And they are not banned in streets where danfo cannot play. So let's take note of this before arriving at any conclusions.
Bike and Keke will still run in trade Fair mkt, inside festac and somany other places. So nobody is taking away food from anyone.
This particular ban is just for 5 local governments, Ikeja and Lagos Island inclusive

The ban is that THEY DON'T WANT TO SEE KEKE AND OKADA AGAIN: WHETHER MAJOR OR MINOR ROAD.

Trade fair is in Ojo local government. The ban no reach that side

Even if the divorce claim is true, it does not justify murder. The man may have refused to grant her a divorce but he certainly didn't chain her to the house. She should have left. None of these excuses being presented hold water. Did she kill him in self defense? No. Then she is guilty of murder in the first degree. Na person pikin she kill, no be goat or dog.
I have read stories here on women taking their husbands to court because he refused to divorce them. One was on front page weeks back.

Nowadays, I've noticed people create threads and make comments for fun, attention or likes.

Instead of arguing back and forth if Maryam deserves to be killed, the lesson here is "EVERYONE SHOULD WORK ON THEIR ANGER ISSUES".
She would probably be free and alive if she had walked away from the house. On front-page, a guy would be going to jail for slapping someone to death in Anambra

People should learn to walk away when they are angry. That's the lesson here.

I'm happy you see murder for what it is. God bless you ma

The comical part of the whole issue is that people think the ban will favor uber drivers.... I ask, HOW?

Keke does #50 to #100 trips. I wonder how the ban will make someone start paying #500 for their fares. Funnily enough, the places these Keke guys pick their passengers are NO-GO-AREAS for uber drivers. People use Keke from Marina to Obalende(#50). Maybe an uber driver will now go and park in front of UAC building to carry a #500 trip

Abi is it bike? People who use Opay and Gokada can afford uber. They use it mostly to save time. If you ban it, the person WILL MOST LIKELY NOT consider uber because he needs to be on time: Something Lagos traffic cannot afford uber or bolt

Abi is it danfo we want to talk about?

I'll be here to see when they will bring one stupid law against Uber cars. I hope it will be fair to also type "God bless Sanwoolu"

Hope you are not blinddd, otherwise you would have seen the reason I gave, he should have given her the divorce she asked for, and marry whatever number of wives he desired. He caused his own death, as for you claiming the wife ''may'' have lied about requesting for a divorce, you were not there, so you do not know.
Of course I wasn't there, so I used the word "MAY"

But you were there. So that is why you strongly say she should not be sentenced to death. You witnessed it all, and that's why you say again, "He caused his own death"

Girls who are raped all caused it. If only they had covered themselves like bags of rice, it wouldn't have happened

People who get robbed caused it too. If only they didn't go about with expensive phones that attract thieves

I could go on and on, but it's really not fun trying to think like you

The way some of you think is pathetic, sad and it clearly shows there's little hope for a better society, country and the world at large

Now, LilMissIntelligent,
If a man rapes a woman, do you blame the man for not controlling his sexual urge, or do you blame the woman for dressing provocatively?

Always learn to think.

A man has just been murdered in cold blood. You don't even know if the woman was lying about the divorce and infidelity stories, but here you are justifying her killing

Don't let your creator be ashamed of you. There is no justification for taking that man's life

I read somewhere that Maryann had asked her husband for a divorce when she discovered he was cheating and wished to get a second wife, yet he refused to grant her request, if this is true, then she does not deserve a death sentence. The death sentence is totally unfair.

The driver before me took this guy to ayobo or so and the trip ended at 5500 until now the driver hasnt received that alert. I then got his request at ikeja under bridge to shrine, took him and his drug head friend there in fact both of em drug ass whimps. Got to shrine started wasting my time with nonsense stories about how he forgot his modem at his mums place, he called his mum on my phone big mistake, he also called the earlier driver on my phone about his modem and too bad for him he left it in the drivers car, another mistake. Oya pay me na trip was 700 bolt gave a 200 discount, give me 5h make I de go na he say he wants to do a transfer of 1k so I will give him 5h so he can have change on him (no big deal, done it w couple times for some riders) oya do it na, baba showed me alert they deducted 1010 naira. Mind you all this happened sharply ooo. I left and got home n didnt see 1k alert. My mind started telling me it's a fake alert, I decided to call the earlier driver since he called the dude on my phone, baba say him never see alert yet and him mind don already de tell am say na fake alert the boy show am.

Say the time wey the boy use my phone call am say make him come meet am for shrine return the modem say him just reason am say him go rather go drop the modem for bolt office so that if he receive him alert the boy go go collect am for there.

The guy called me like 30 mins later saying omo be like say na fake alert that boy do for am oo cos him don check him bank app him never still see the money. Chaii na him I weak finish.

I eventually got the boys number from the other driver cos the number he has on the app is off, same with the number he called me on when he booked. Called him, he de talk nonsense, say if I get any complaint say na bolt I suppose direct am to. I Come tell am say na ordinary 1k na say bro if you needed help that bad all you needed to do was talk to me as a man and if I want to help I will.

Funny cruise but na the first driver wey Carry am I pity pass wasted fuel n time. Cant trust none of these riders no more oo no matter how good looking they are, and I used to be so cautious ehh.

Now I'm thinking of texting his mum and telling about her sons escapades. Dont need the bread again sef but just so she can be aware of what her son is up to, Make he no go red for the guy one day she go surprise.
There might not be a "Mum" sir. That one sef fit still be lamba

I've always hated that shrine. Na useless, broke scammers dey mostly use uber go there. I was surprised he didnt run. Some will arrive there, and while you're in the little traffic, they open the door and run
