You better run for your life. Someone that is still looking up to God for the fruit of the womb maltreating the one God gave her to protect. Ana again, you are not man enough, you are a weak man. You want to run away from your responsibilities by pleading with your former in laws to take your child, I mean your first fruit instead of standing your ground against your wife to behave herself or move out? You don't need any advise, what you need is to be a man.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Please Help Me Decide On This Present Job Offer by JADESOLA15: 5:44am On Feb 05, 2023
Any organization that won't send offer letter after you have spoken to HR on the phone about them giving you the Job should never be taken serious. Then modulated salary again? Only allowances should be attached to performance and not your base salary. If you like yourself, you better stay put at your current job. This new place will sack you and nothing and you will regret leaving your job for them.

Go get original palm wine, and spray your house and give him some to drink 3 times a day.

Get Ewuro(bitter leaf, mix with palm oil or dry gin) rub it on him daily.

Then to stop others from being infected, there is this fruit that looks like watermelon, put it all over your house. ( Go to elewe omo in the market, they will tell you what to do)

All these medications and hospitals won't help, I have been there.

Lmaoo, so it's the fault of your wife? If she says she won't do family planning, why can't you as man he using condom?

My wife and I have been using condom since our last kid in 2016, we are use to it. In fact if there is no condom, we don't have access, that is why I always ensure we have enough condoms in the house. Grow up bro.....

I hope you are aware of the position of the law of the land, it you touch that girl or sleep with her, you have committed an offence. She is a minor, hence she can't even decide for herself. You are setting up yourself up to spend at least 8years in jail and become a sex offender, phedopile. Borrow yourself brain, a word is enough for a sensible person.

Business / Re: Exploitative Outrageous Duty Charges By Nigerian Customs by JADESOLA15: 3:39pm On Dec 01, 2021
To be honest, always check the custom duty rate of whatever you want to buy before you complete the transaction. If you check the rate, taxes, etc The duty they asked you to pay is in order.

Another option is to ask the seller to reduce the value of the item for custom declaration.

Customs no dey manufacture figures, they go by the goods classification.

Pls can you shed more lights on the implications of the following Visa related problem:

Cancelled

Cancelled With Prejudice

If you have any of the above, does it mean the person can never get US Visa again?

Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone, thanks all for sharing your experiences, I'm most grateful.
pls I need clarification on something that is bothering me, I want to renew now, my initial was business visa through my employer. This is the challenge, I have a coy I registered in 2013, but I started using in 2015 after I got my visa, it was not mentioned in my initial application. The business is now functioning well now and I want to use the coy as part of ties to Nigeria and to show where some of my income comes from.
I hope this won't create a problem for me? Considering that it was not included in my first app knowing fully well it was existing before o filed my application. I will appreciate your contribution.

Congrats o, but did you say she didnt declare she was going to give birth? or you meant she declared? If she didnt declare at the interview, the best and honorable thing to do is for to use the Visa for the purpose she mentioned in her application and during interview. My 2cents

No reply sad

OK. We have been there, and it turned out bad. In our own case, nothing like pregnancy during interview, pregnancy came 4months after visa was issued. We couldn't travel for vacation due to father inlaw's sickness (later died) and burial.
We decided to give birth in Yankee, tried to process visa for mama, na dia katakata happen. Told mama to say na childbirth she wants follow go do. Naso VO said we lied during interview. To cut long story short they called all of us for interview and guess what after few discussion visas were cancelled.

Be guided, let her use the Visa for the actual purpose first.

Positive: PTA would become easier to get
Negative: 'CBN' rate is no longer 199naira...it's now whatever the bank 'decides' to sell at

OK. To clear the air on the new forex regime, there is nothing like official rate anymore.
CBN will only participate occasionally, they have appointed primary dealers.
With this new regime that will start on Monday, anyone can work to any bank or primary dealers and buy FX at the rate that market forces will determine.

The rate could be 250 today and 400 the following day.

BDC guys and the abokis would close shop soon cos no one will be patronising them.

For intending America mamas, it's going to be mixed feelings, BTA/PTA will be probably be abolished. While your Form A will no longer be at the rate of 199 or whatever, it will now be determined by market forces of demand and supply.

I hope it's clear a bit for my people here.......

You are very correct, the best is to use the visa first for the purpose it was given to you and come back before even writing the intent change letter then child birth. The VO is angry that they haven't used the Visa for the purpose it was given to them before Getting for his mum to join for Child birth which wasn't the reason the visa was issued in the first place. Thats why its good for her to be in the US first and pay some Doctors and hospital fees like some people did, then send the receipts for her MIL to go along with it to the embassy. I just feel for them and i hope they will reapply backing it up with necessary "Burden of proof" and make their case known to the embassy, with God all things are possible.

Thanks so much. They are obviously angry, most people yesterday were either Dropbox renewals that requested to see, and they denied lots of people. Even the VO guy wanted to call security for someone. A lady that had her baby like 3years ago in US too was denied, she submitted through Dropbox. They said her bill was low that she took medicaid etc, but she said she didn't etc.

Like I said, not the end of the world. Wifey don take am well. We shall use our saved up USD and Naira for another purpose, maybe it's time to start the new house project. Maybe na wetin God dey tell us be that.

We will apply next year with our new baby.

Gracias

This is a new season. Either that its Trump foot and mouth disease or there's a coded policy to hold back visas. Personally I have the conspiracy theory that they are 'afraiding' us now cos this economy can even make Buhari pikin run away.
Saw this and thought to Share...

Madam, you are absolutely right, I guess they are not convinced that people can funderstand birthing with this dollar wahala.

Though it is painful for me and you family, but I'm not bothered, also happy that wifey took the situation very well. We are forging on.

At times, you feel when you say the truth, it gets you into trouble, which is the case here, if mum had said vacation this wouldn't have happened. But what if we were turned back at POE? But God knows.

Even though she said we can reapply anytime, but I'm not interested. Let me go and convert our already saved USD at zone 4 for another use.

When you lied and you are caught, it is not painful, but when you say the truth and they said you lie, it is seriously painful and hurting. Wisdom is profitable to direct.

Thanks LadyGuinivere for sharing my story. Let people learn too.

Cheers

Hello JADESOLA15,

Your current visas are still valid and you may travel on them as you wish. Just be sure to tell the agent at the POE exactly what your purpose of travel is. If you plan to have the baby in the U.S. you must provide the agent at the POE with all the documents that demonstrate your ability to pay for the ENTIRE birth (you may not accept any public assistance).

Hi VO, thanks for your great work here. So I received email from Vice Consul that we should bring our passports for interview, and today VO asked why we didn't travel and I responded. Asked how m7ch we both earn, and we answered.

She stepped out for minutes and came back with our passports with CANCELLED stamp on the visas.

Even though wife was not pregnant during interview, I guess VO felt we lied.

I have taken it in good faith, even though it was painful that being truthful led us here. I will continue to be honest even with this setback. may God keeps us all. Amen.

Thanks and I really appreciate.

Dear VO,

Thanks so much for your swift and apt response.

How do you suggest I go about my Mum's application, can she reapply again? I really want her to stick to the same information that she wants to follow her daughter-in-law to give birth, we are just afraid the VO will say again that we lied about our intentions. We are even ready to if invited to show that we are capable of taking care of all cost that may arise from the trip.

Thanks

Dear VO,

Sure you all is well.

Need your help on this, Myself and wifey with our kid were issued B1/B2 visa in October 2015, and we were suppose to travel for vacation in December but father in law died, and we couldn't make our trip again cos Burial was in February due to preparation and all that.

The Visa officer asked if she was pregnant, but she wasn't at all in 2015, but she became pregnant in January 2016 with EDD September 19 2016. We felt she could give birth in America since we have the capacity etc having checked your site and the requirements to give birth etc, I decided to process application for my mum to follow her to help out, and during her interview she informed the VO that she wanted follow her daughter in law to give birth, and she asked for copies of our visas which I have already added to her envelope. At this point, the VO said we lied during our interview, according to her VO kept saying we lied.

The truth is this, wifey wasn't pregnant at all in 2015, she became pregnant in 2016 January, and that is why her EDD is 19 Sept 2016 they wanted to travel at 35weeks(19 August 2016). According to my mum the VO was calculating the period the visa was issued and now, if she was 3months pregnant during the interview, her EDD would have been April 2016, if she was like 2 months pregnant, her EDD would have been May 2016, and if she was 1month Pregnant during the interview in Oct 2015, her EDD would have been June 2016. If the calculation is done, the VO will realised that we didn't lie during our own interview, and I can understand why her application was denied, even though mum didn't lie also as she mentioned why she wanted to go based on the information we gave her.

I just hope that it will not affect our Visas, as it is not our intention to lie at any point. I have told wifey to forget about giving birth in America as I'm more concerned about our integrity and being truthful at all time.

VO, sincerely sorry that I had to bother you with all these, I just want to know the way forward.

I will appreciate your opinion about our situation.

Thanks so much, I really appreciate. These figures, does it include doctors fees for JPS?

How do i contact baylor to get this 3750USD?

Do you have any Dr you can recommend in JPS?

Thanks in advance.
ZillyO:

If your host is a Tarrant County resident then count yourself lucky and head for JPS- John Peter Smith hospital and access their maternity package totalling $4,500

Or you can do Baylor Hospital, Dr Stimage is surprisingly $800 but hospital is either $3,750 or $5,700 depending on how u contact them. But Dr Stimage is at Carollton just 30mins away from Dallas

Just search for hospitals in Dallas, a lot of people here have gone to Dallas
