A lot of Nigerian artistes have signed up.
Their handlers are not after the musicians themselves, they are after the general populace, the society.
A few years ago, it was a thing of shame to get a girl pregnant and not do right by her. Nowadays its ok to have/be a babymama or babydaddy.
You hear stuff like ''So-so bares cleavage on red carpet'' and millions flock to see.
Thats what the record deals are all about.

TheGreatIYANU: Since we quickly forget our History in these parts -
A Channels Television news reporter Enenche Akogwu has lost his life in the Kano bomb blasts that took place a few hours ago this evening, January 20, 2012.
According to Channels TV official website, Akogwu, 31 was said to have been shot by unknown gunmen suspected to be members of the Boko Haram sect, outside the Kano state government house while in the line of duty.
He had just returned to Kano two days ago after spending sometime in Lagos. He is said to have missed his flight twice before switching airlines.
Akogwu, who before his death covered the northern region uncovering breaking stories and events across the troubled northern region, is said to have been a ‘resourceful and fearless reporter’.
‘The management is deeply saddened by the death of their courageous reporter’, the statement read.
He was the winner of Channels Television’s 2011 Chairman’s award and was honoured at the station’s end of the year celebration.

donmalcolm21: A keen observer will see that those solders are batte weary and need to be alowed to go back home.
Another angle might not be unconnected to their welfare which is not met while the Politicians which the Deputy Governor represent tends to tell the outside world that all is well.
The Last angle is that the security situation there is tense that the soldiers can't stay in their own road blocks because BH members are still patrolling freely and might use them as target practise I wonder if the military have psychologists who perform routine checks on these men. Some of these dudes may have snapped like Pyle in Full Metal Jacket. Imagine saying they got nothing to lose by killing a Deputy Governor. |

PMB will rule till 2023 except his health doesn't improve. You people should continue to cry us a river. Please stop this. If the man's life is truly endangered by the rigours of governance, all who truly love him will seek his preservation and continued presence on earth, for as long as possible. He is worth more to those who love him alive than as a memory. I voted PMB in 2015. Yes. I stood patiently in the sun to vote for him. I hope you actually did, too. |

Our Police has been completely dehumanised.
Why won't they naturally envy others and be arbitrarily angry when they encounter them?
Why won't they be so horribly merciless when some unfortunate falls into their hands?
See house abeg!
It's a complete wonder that sometimes they actually go after real criminals and discharge their real duties. |

Franzinni: Will it be strange if I tell you... I have come to the realization that life is just a series of expiriences and death is the icing on the cake... I don't fear death anymore.... Because I walk with it strolling hand in hand daily.... He is leading all of us towards the great nothingness.... To answer your question.... If is would kill my body if I find lifes expiriences too hard to bare and my answer is a glorious yes...
My reason comes from my philosophy... Life never ends in the real sense of things.... When you die new life comes out of your body... You become nutrients of mother earth to pay back for the countless wrongs you have done to nature...
When you attain total acceptance of the fact that you are nothing but a dying creature.... You will understand what the meaning of life really is... Hmmmmmmmmm...... You have your reasons, I'll give you that..... I may not agree though. You see, I'm of the opinion that all we do is a cause for an effect further down the line, for posterity, if you don't believe in the afterlife, like I do. If a mentor, breadwinner, parent or benefactor suddenly ended his life (like a father to a young child), I quite expect it will leave the dependents and loved ones scarred, maybe for life. For those of us who believe in an afterlife, there is an effect to such an action to be borne by the dead's eternal soul. For either reason, consideration for those still living or fear of punishment, suicide may be undesirable, for anyone who may contemplate it. For me, it is totally abhorrent. |

Franzinni: A brave man... For ending it on his own terms...
If you are suffering in this life and you are enduring it.... It is cowardly.
The only reason you are afraid is because you don't know where you will go when you die... Let me tell you this... Heaven or hell is a myth.
No one remembers where there were before they were born.... Don't expect to remember where you are after you die.....
You just simple stop existing simple....
Don't ask me how I know..... It is a long story. You sound like its the right thing to do, like...... .......like you would kill yourself too, if faced with issues in life. Disappointing. |
