A Nigerian lady, Udeh Chiamaka Victoria, has graduated with a First Class Honors in Medicine from Stavropol State Medical University in Russia, IGBERETV reports.
Stavropol State Medical University is one of the oldest universities in Russia.
She took to Twitter on Monday, July 10, 2023, to celebrate her achievement.
I graduated with a First Class Honors in Medicine. God did it I wouldn’t have done it without the support of my family, friends and most definitely God. It wasn’t an easy journey but here I’m. First class honors bagged. It’s now Dr. Udeh Chiamaka Victoria MD pic.twitter.com/bSSqFtI0yg

ukaface: Wetin concern me I feel no awareness about drugs should be over emphasised If person wan die from use of drugs make e die It’s not my life I Dey try to survive, why will I Fvck about celebrities life. If olamide wan die make he die na
You don't have teenage sons or younger brothers or cousins?
If someone close to you falls for these "yeyebrities" crappy lifestyle and becomes addicted, you'll understand that you may not give a fvck, but you will feel the pain.
Hardtotrust: I am very very angry right now. I couldn't sleep last night. That is why I'm bringing this here this morning before I do something very bad. A father should be after the growth of his son and not after ruining him.
Please you guys should help me look into this matter. I understand that it was a matter of life and important concern.
I'm seriously struggling in the city to eck a living for myself and do the little I can for my family also. My father was a petty trader who hardly can provide adequate for the family. Some of us who come from a very poor background would understand this better. I mean coming from where absolutely nothing is kept for you. No support from the family and nothing, nothing and nothing. You are the one who die and same you would have to pour yourself water to come back to life. You, you and only you.
I buy fast consuming products and supply to people and make some gains from there. Sometimes I hawk the products. I was able to save up to N150k. Around May this year, I went to the village and bought some rubbers of palm oil and store them to sell around November/December and make gains.
Last week, I got a call that wind pulled off our house roof in the village. Since they are using small torchlight phone, I didn't get to see how serious the situation was. Even though I didn't have money, I sent N15k to help fix it. My father later called me and complained bitterly on why I sent just 15k, that according to the carpenter, that materials and workmanship would cost N65k. In my mind, I was just like, does this man even know how I survive here in the city?
For two nights, they didnt sleep in the house as the wind pulled off the rooof.
On Tuesday, I learnt my younger brother was being operated of Hernia. I know about the hernia but was under plan to raise money for it. And I knew there was no money to settle medical bills for operation. So I was shocked where they got the money to do operation.
As I traveled down yesterday to see them, dear Nairaland friends, all my rubbers of palm oil has been sold and the money spent on fixing the roof and paying for the medical bills for the hernia operation without my notice.
I am not taking this kindly with my father who engineered the whole thing and I want to arrest him to refund my money.
That is my life investment and it took me so much to raise the amount. Due to how things are now. I even wanted to sell two rubbers to invest back as the business is facing challenges now.
What should I do here to recover my money back? If I have another money, I would over look it but that is my life investment of my labour.
Remember, your Dad didn't touch your palm oil until the disasters befell your family.
seunmsg: I opened this thread purposely to pass a message to those who constantly barrage the country with insults and negativity and see no good in her.
A lot of us have similar stories to this lady. We got educated to the highest level almost for free but still have nothing positive to say about the country. Some of them will even boldly say Nigeria has done absolutely nothing for them.
Good enough, people like Dr. Simi are trying to change the narratives. She’s coming back home to serve and give back to a country that made her a medical doctor almost for free. We need more patriots and optimist like her.
Nigeria may not be where we want her to be but being perpetually negative and denying the benefits we’ve received from the country is definitely not the way to go. With positive energy and a deep and patriotic commitment to the country, Nigeria will start flying in just a matter of years.
All the best to Dr. Simi as she returns to serve her Father’s land.
After she stayed for 20 years, right?
Oya naa, let others goan do their own 20 years "in-Britainment" then come and serve their "Father's Land", if PDAPC have not finished it by then.
zeuss: I am obedient but I think the time is right to collapse structure for Jagaban. Tinubu on his part needs to embrace ibo as his fellow citizens and give them their dues. Ibo don't ask for much just show them relevance and enjoy their loyal support. The Muslim north is upto something and we must all protect the south.
radiolover: I have sent possibly more than 80 applications and fortunately, I got called by a few.
I have exhausted scarce resources to attend interviews, editing and re-editing resumes to fit a certain role and position, cost of transportation, I don't want to even mention having to trek a long distance sometimes due to lack of fund to pay Tfare. I mean someone is broke and hungry and trying his best to land a job but he's rather receiving rejection mails. What is this?
On Monday, I received a rejection mail from automobile company where I applied for a marketing role. On Tuesday, I received another one from a production factory.
Now I just returned from another job hunting only to open my mail and saw another rejection mail. This very one pain me most because I had high hope on it and i have spent so much on it too. During the second stage of the interview, I can remember how I waited from 8am till 5pm just to see 'Oga', and after seeing him, I began to walk my way home and got home late. I know i'm sounding sentimental here but it's so annoying that i went through all that 'ontop empty belle' and at the end, I wasnt offered the job.
Very very painful and morale killing.
I feel so bad right now.
Feels like the world has crashed.
Feels like everything has finished.
Feels like everything has ended.
Feels like more hunger for me ahead ahead.
Who has faced this before?
How did you comfort yourself?
We don face am, many times.
See, ehn, a lot of jobs being advertised already have people to fill them from nepotism and "Oga's candidate" syndrome.
When you see adverts, it doesn't hurt to start by finding out if you know anyone there or know anyone who does.
Networking had got me far more jobs than just applying and going for interviews.
A milli is like change to him... Abeg drop this mentality bax... So alhaji wey dey pay for my upkeep on weekly basis doesn't know what to do with money ?
To em that money is change money
Now, put in this fashion, I can tell you for free, Alhaji is wasting his money.
Kobojunkie: Why not care more about Jesus Christ's reckoning? Jesus Christ is the one who condemned them all.... those who subscribe to religion instead of the pure teachings and commandments of God as Hypocrites...all of them. This is what Jesus Christ said of all those who embrace the doctrines and traditions of men, all of whom He said are hypocrites. ... Why not cast Jesus Christ down for His statement against them all?
My point remains, there ought to be some.people who actually serve Jesus, right?
Which means no more touts on the road harrassing drivers of buses and Hilux trucks?
Let's wait and see if that is the case.
If it is, then it's a great development which APC governments especially in our dear Yoruba land will not likely adopt b cause the agbèrò guys won't like it and they're the ones who help the politicians to snatch ballot boxes and intimidate voters.
Honestly, what Nigeria needs is the right systems to be put in place.
Valoromega: Anytime I have issues with my wife, maybe it's about another girl she always says what if she does her own too how would (mind you I have never been with another woman since we got married. I might just flirt around with some other girls once in a while via chat) She has this mentality that she's beautiful and young and she usually gets a lot of attention and I think it's getting to her head. Because most times she usually talks about doing her own too and I think she has the tendency to cheat If I do something to her like cheating.
Adeshi: At first i thought it was stress, but yesterday, i was home throughout and it happened again. This is like the 4th time this year. I'm really concerned and i do not mind any advice as to what could cure the problem. I called a friend of mine this morning to request to see a urologist, he said i might have to wait 2-3 months to see one.
I do not want to wait another 2 months, my marriage is just 2years and my wife is starting to worry too.
A 34 years old married man still betwets. I need help please.
