janut: Our interview was quite unique. You will know why @ the end.
We got to the embassy @ about 5:55, and met people there as usual. After some time we were told to form queues according to immigrant and non immigrant.We went through various security checks and they also checked their list to confirm if we had appointment for the day.
Getting in we paid N109000 I.e for 2 persons. Pls keep all the papers they give you before entering.
After paying we submitted our documents and was asked to wait for our interview.
At about past 9 am we were called for our interview.
C/o: please both of u should raise ur right hand and swear to say the whole truth during the interview.
He took our finger prints after which the interview started.

C.o: when did u serve

C.o brought out two white papers and explained to us where to pick up our visa and hw to pay uscis fee.
We thanked him and left.
In all of this the c.o did not ask my wife a single question even though she was right beside me.
Please alwz say d truth. I used a wrong date of birth during my initial application and the c.o asked me about it which I confirmed and he was satisfied.
I wish those yet to get their visa all the best. It can only be God.

It doesn't matter! NPC does not EXPIRE!!!

mr rule: Please help o house help. I just noticed that I signed both forms on while filing it .I didn't knw that it was one that am supose to sign I just saw somebody's own today wen I went to my police clearance he told me that am supose to signe one .now my second letter is out already is there anything I can do ? Pls I need an advice

Don't worry urself, no big deal bout it! Its an honest mistake. u'd probably jus sign again in front of d co to confirm ur signature! RELAX! The visa is yours already.

rantileye: Thanks so much OBATIDE, i really appreciate your advice and the clarification as regards my question. I and my fiance have been together for sometimes but the i played as SINGLE and likewise she did too but why i sent my forms earlier was that she wanna finish her study first here before she can travel so we agreed for me to go first and we can arrange the wedding after her school which will make her to come to me later on. But now am confused coz i dont wanna leave her behind and at the same time i dont wanna do sometime that can disqualify the process...MY QUESTION NOW IS THAT , CANT OUR NEW FORMS AFTER THE WEDDING GONNA MEET UP WITH THE FISCAL YEAR APPOINTMENT AGAIN?... thanks for been there.

i think the best tin u can do now is to contact KCC and give them a comprehensive explanation of your situation! i tink they are in best position to tell you d 'RIGHT' steps to follow so as not to jeopardize ur chances! Please don't do anytin on assumptions! Goodluck!

I had my son this year March and my selection was this year March and we have sent the forms in June this year. Looking forward to your quick response.

Contact the embassy informing them about the latest development! They will tell u what to do! Get the baby a passport,you will also fill form for the baby,get $330 ready,medicals and records of immunization,birth cert,pictures of naming ceremony! hope dis helps?

Go to the school you wrote WAEC you can collect it there cos they normally send d cert over!

Its not compulsory but its necessary. Take it along with you cause they "MIGHT" ask for it!

your 2NL has landed i.e your interview date! Sometimes it doesn't appear there immediately! You nid to continue checking. Definitely it will update automatically, jus kip checking!

Go to any high court! Yes you can do it for someone else provided u have the required details of that person in question!

Firewami: pls house, after filin form ds 230 and 122 wit my wife new family name and indicating her maiden name which was used to play d lottery for her as a single. i then scanned the filled form and passport photograph to KCC, d response i got is 'the information u have provided does not match the case,pls supply d correct information' . 1. Are you sure u filled d correct case number? Pls check dis very well cos it very important
2. Ar u sure u filled d forms correctly?
3. Ar u updating or ur jus sending ur forms for d first time?

If u av done everytin correctly i see no reason y dey sent u dat kind of reply! I tink you should contact KCC ASAP

CO: how come you are not doing something related to your course
ME: started working in this particular industry & I have since been there.
CO: ok..thats good

After some few clicks she smiled and told me congratulations and welcome to USA. By the way, the CO was an african american (beautiful lady!)...so I guess my mind was not in the questions being asked ... she then gave me 2 papers (1 for visa pick up, the other USCIS payment).

I forgot to inform you guys that my interview date was shifted. It was initially billed for October 31st, however, I received a call informing me of the new date of 13th Nov... I was a bit annoyed because I felt a mail should have been used to back up the call (for me that was standard going by my training). so i mailed them that same day...the response i got was stunning...I was told I could not reschedule a date after the date advised (13th) and if i missed the interview that would be all. waiting be dis, see me see wahala, na me beg u say make u shift am?...was so furious so I almost sent a stinker mail to them...but after persuasion from my friend and colleague, I dropped the idea...

The cab that took me there had no bright head light... was scared wen we got to 3rd mainland and the whole place was dark...this was arnd 4.45...@bukiemma I tink I have tried...need to get back to work!

You av notin to worry about. it doesn't stop you from getting your visa! i av seen cases like dis still they were granted visa! Jus b prepared to explain yourself! Goodluck.

Did normal security checks and entered the hall. I was called at window 16 to sumit documents. And later my no beeped at window 14 (the 1st person to be interviewed) with this young white lady and it went thus;

Nah! Haven't done any of those. Let me help wit where you will get it done. Police report(Alagbon,Ikoyi). Medical report(Raymond Njokwu,Ikoyi). NPC(Babs Animashaun,Surulere).

XYZZ: House, first of all, thank God. And i would like to thank every body in this forum for all your kind encouraging advise and support, its always nice to have people like you guys. I am so grateful to be part of this family.

It always nice to have a strong defence if you are not sure of some documents should the CO ask you about them. I have gone to US embassy sometime in 2007, which i lied that i was in the Nigeria Navy, all in the name of yanky... I also said i was married then but all na lie, anyways they denied my self and 2 of my guys visa. So i was so scared that these will come up. Even my Waec date of birth says 1986 why my International Passport is carrying my real date of birth 1979, i was also sacred that this might come up. To cut the stories, God always have his ways. I thank God cos none of all these errors were asked.

My Interview:

ME: Yes ma, and she turned to my wife and asked her the same question

CO: Can you please raise your left hand and say u will say the truth and nothing but the truth?

She started typing and brought out 2 paper and advice us on how to pay our Green Card fee, and said welcome to America; i asked her if that’s all? And she said yes that’s all.

I just want to thank God cos i have been praying and asking God for easy interview and that was what God did for my family, my wife is a lawyer and the CO did not ask her any questions, i was suppressed.

For people that are waiting for their interview, listen the visa is yours go and pick. Texas loading........

You don't need affidavit of support if you are in nigeria, you surely need NPC if you don't have a birth cert! Note: pls make sure ur passport,NPC carries ur original date of birth!

akintunde95: @jigga40 are u sure.... But remain 1 thing the date in my Neco GCE is 20/4/1989 ...but in the form i fill in 2012 is 24/7/1989 naw pls i need advise....

I am 101 percent sure, they recognize neco results too cus they know we use it here! The waec stuff is just for them to confirm you completed high school! i know so many people who have been granted visas with neco results! On the discrepancies on your result and form, you should be prepared to give a meaningful reason(s) why you have different dates! You have no prob if your reason(s) are genuine. GOODLUCK!

jollyiwin: okay my fellow America . i got to US embassy 4: 50 AM and i was the first to get there. did all security check, about 5 different area. and got to the hall. immigrant was asked to sit in the right hand side of the hall. waited patentlly for my number to be called. then my number was called in window 21 for submission of documents. of wish i did, and there was a mis in my document (neco printout ) of wish i misplaced. but i have some backed up document (master script ) so when i submitted that document.

now i waited for my number to be called for interview so around 9: 10 my number finally appeared in window 18. where there was this young girl around her early 30 tees. the interview begun as followed.


CO. good morning sir!
me. good morning mam. how is the work going.
CO. fine thank you sir.
ME. i see
CO. sir raise your hand and say after me.
ME. i did . you know that.
CO. is this your document. i replyed. sign here. i did,
CO. finger print please. i did,
