sleeping open eye. very manipulative woman. tangent: @spikedcylinder, he is there for the children. besides, it's a no win situation for the men in the western world. if he moves out, he will lose his house to the wife and lose custodial care of his children. this is not technically true. it can only happen if the guy is in relationship with the CAN ACCOMODATE women. if you own your house as the man and was not violent no woman can move you out of your house. not even the courts. thank God for lawyers. spikedcylinder: Thanks for educating me on the western world. However, I must ask, are these prices worth paying for his peace of mind? capital NO. too many many marriage/relationship of convinience. most of these people are like hell. never satisfied. marriage is suppose to be enjoyed and fun not suffocating prisons |

ehie: obviously the only thing u will die for is for u yourself and u,even if it means turning back on your country.u should be considered a traitor, and a leech.Oyibonaija sorry to disappoint you. you are wrong. i am not a self centred person. my wife and people who know me will tell you that. my point is all you lovers of nigeria only say it with your mouth. there is no commitment i can see to prove that love. if you checked my former name you will see this as my signature for years " Nigeria is blessed. what do you do 4 Nigeria?"questioning lies don't equal disloyal to naija in my book. i am shocked at the level of dishonesty we tollerate in nigeria. you don't use lies to make a point. you guys need to start loving justice and fair play in order to build a peacefull and good society. i hate every appearance of lies and injustice no matter who is peddling it. |

ehie: the ones who have died fighting for Nigeria didnt die in vain, nothing is done in vain, just because u don't see rewards or eulogies doent mean they have rotted into the annals of history. And its not only in Nigeria that Heroes are forgotten, its all over the world with the fast pace of life and constant info, most people have a very small attention span. If u want to die and fight for a cause don't do it because of fame or eulogies,do it because u believe very strongly for it and even if u arent appreciated u are willing to take the leap. well the bottom line is if u live for nothing,u die for nothing try it first let me see how you enjoy it i may just copy you. talk is cheap my dear sister. horses for causes as the english man says. AFAIK: EVERYBODY WANTS TO GO TO HEAVEN BUT NOBODY WANTS TO DIE sexyLeamon: how is that related to this topic? help me ask am o. there is no paradise for foolishness. |

Akede-Oba: you are not being very truthful to yourself either and when someone begins to lie to himself his life is in serious trouble.
britain is hundreds of years older than "nigeria" . where were you in the victorian time of the plagues and other calamities which were of poor hygiene in london ? go to london museum and see for yourself and then go and get a hair cut my brother they didn't get where they are overnight but by working hard at it with slave labour from abroad 100yrs indeed. you are exhibiting the same mentallity our fore-fathers had. oyinbo didnt just colonized africa and took its people as slaves. our people sold citizens away. dont go near the force a group of few white men used to take a whole continent please. spare yourself that today. ehie: Is Nigeria worth dying for? That is the most irresponsible statement a person will make to justify his neurotic perception. If u find Nigeria so distasteful then Nigeria also does not have any need for people like u We have survived and will survive with or without U. Go and Hug ur adopted countries where u will always have to prove to yourself and to them that u are someone just because u have a darker skin tone
slave you could have answered the question i asked. what happened to the ones that died for the country before? is that too much a question to be asked? |

problem with most Nigerians is truth, justice and fairness are alien to us as a people. we see nothing bad in one of us telling obvious lies. Britain is a tiny island probably the size of some 3 to 5 states in Nigeria with less than 60million people. majority don't have degree level education like we have in Nigeria. i am yet to see one British with 2 heads. again majority of the pics were not taken in the wider UK let alone Britain Akede-Oba: nobody wants to die , they want somebody else to die for them . i is Nigeria worth dying for? what happened to those who died for the country before? |

Baby Jinx: I need to apologize, I didn't mean t jump on you like that. Your response, which like you rightfully stated is a product of what you gleaned from the posts, made it easier for me to use you or rather your post as jumping off point to admonish my fellow Nigerians. . . the ones who are so quick to blame the Western Culture (whatever that is) for every evil thing that happens to us.
They don't realize they inadvertently do two things with talks like that. . .
1) Giving too much credit to one who deserves none 2) Painting a picture of us. . . Nigerians are brainless fools who just go with the flow.
Again, It wasn't really about you per se. . . it was more a "Look what you guys are doing? Giving people a "big head" over nothing" type of thing
I do hope you understand what I mean and again, I apologise for using you like that. I apologise for using you like that maturity that is rare on NL |

Gunmen kill female corps member few weeks to wedding Uchechukwu Olisah, Benin City - 28.10.2008
A 29-year-old National Youth Ser vice Corps (NYSC) member identified as Miss Osaze Omorodion was murdered at the weekend in Benin City, the Edo State capital, by unknown gunmen for reason yet to be unraveled.
The deceased was murdered in her family home, Number 25, Okungbowa Street, off Siluko Road, in the Benin metropolis at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The late Miss Omorodion, a graduate of Agriculture Economics from the University of Benin (UNIBEN), was attached to the Institute of Continuing Education (ICE), off Wire Road in Benin City, for her mandatory one year national service programme.
She was said to have been posted to Kaduna but later sought redeployment to Benin City, where she returned to barely a week before she was murdered.
Nigerian Tribune gathered that her redeployment might have been connected with her reported plans for her marriage which was said to be a few weeks from the Saturday she was killed.
The gunmen who killed her were said to be eight in number. The gunmen reportedly stormed Miss Omorodion’s family home that Saturday and accosted her and her mother, Madam Rachael Omorodion, and demanded for jewelry, money and telephone handsets.
According to a nephew of the deceased, Mr. Gideon Eke, some of the gunmen shifted attention to her and demanded that she gave them her own jewelry.
He said a few minutes afterwards, they heard the late Miss Omorodion pleading with them to spare her life but that her pleas fell on deaf ears as she was shot in the head. http://www.tribune.com.ng/28102008/news/news5.htmlwhat is all this killing people for? is this hunger or what? |

Ms. Lurker: How do you know we don't? You don't know anyone's story until you ask or see for yourself.
If you are going by what's on TV, then you don't know the half of what N. American kids go through, especially the black ones like my peers.
My question is: (and I'm not trying to be rude) Why have or raise your kids here if our influence is so bad? You can't keep up the Western way of life completely no matter how hard you try. how did the jewish and some asian community achieve theirs? |
