Cantonese:It can be found in many pharmacies nationwide. Activated charcoal acts as an adsorbent at the site of the bite or insect sting. It adsorbs the venom onto itself and prevent spread. It can also be used in cases of accidental ingestion of poisons such as in cases where children swallow poisonous substances like kerosene and the likes. In such cases, a slurry of it is made and given to the person immediately. What it does is to adsorb the poison and slow down the process of absorption into systemic circulation while medical attention is being sought. |
Simbrixton:And who prevented southwest from producing the speaker of HOR in the person of Mulikat Akande Remember she was Jonathan's preferred candidate but Tinubu and Gbajabiamila fought against her candidacy. They supported Tambuwal instead! |
Xano:I tell you |
Lovemaester:Stop typing jargon here my friend! The PDP has always favoured not only the southeast but the entire regions of Nigeria. PDP has a zoning formula that is all encompassing. APC on the other hand has proven to be a party founded on bigotry and nepotism. APC has continued to play regional politics since 2015 and are not even ready to stop. Imagine the zoning arrangement they are planning to operate in the coming administration, where the president and senate president comes from the north while the VP and speaker of HOR come from the southwest. Let them continue sha, but let none of you complain when such arrangement comes to hunt you. |
johnmartus:Why should the southeast and south south support a southwest candidate?? Why couldn't APC zone their presidential ticket to southeast or south south? Why must it be south west This is why it is good for politicians to always review their actions because political power is never permanent! When some people were fighting Jonathan in 2015 and accusing him of all whatnot because they wanted to gain power by all means, they didn't think about the future. I wonder how southwest plan to convince us to vote for one south in 2023. Even if we are fools!! I'm just watching in 3D. |
Obainoneandonly:Economy doesn't win election, number does! |
Regina Daniels has denied this rumor on her IG page and I believe her. I believe she's too intelligent to descend that low when she has all the potentials to marry a younger and even richer guy who can treat her right. |
profem1:My brother Nigerian lecturers are devils in human form! Go to many faculties and departments, you'll see cold war going on among the lecturers. They have cliques and cabals among themselves. Woe betide any lecturer who doesn't belong to the majority clique or the leading clique. They'll just make him a common enemy and nothing he does will be acceptable. Students also face such victimization from lecturers and unfortunately, nobody will ever agree that the student is being victimized. Everybody blames the student and exonerate the lecturers! This is why I don't advise anybody to do postgraduate studies here in Nigeria, especially PhD. It's better to do it abroad. Even Ghana is a better option than Nigeria! Nigerians are bigots and they carry their bigotry to everywhere! |
No be to Bleep be the wahala, na to face the responsibilities that comes with pregnancy. Na now the boy go understand why teenagers are advised to stay away from sexx. Before now, he go think say na cheating adults dey cheat them by giving such advice |
Rochas was truthfully rich prior to 2011. I knew about Rochas foundation school in Jos when I was there. There was also Rochas estate in Abuja where some people lived free of charge. But then money is never enough, and I can't vouch that he never dipped his hands into imo state's treasury! |
Cantonese:Those who are enlightened enough should know. That's why it is good to always talk to the healthcare professionals. |
eyinjuege:So, why get married in the first place if your partner can't at least help you ease off the worries of this life by making you happy and relaxed when you're together. Especially in cases where the couple is yet to conceive Aside bearing children, making each other happy is very important in a marriage. |
It is not just tying the injury! You tie slightly above the injury site and keep the person still. That way, blood circulation from the injury site to the rest of the body is inhibited. The woman probably walked by herself to the Clinic and in the process, the venom spread to her heart. This is why every household should have some emergency anti venoms like activated charcoal and the rest. In situations like this, what you do is; after tying the tourniquet, you make an incision on the wound and apply the activated charcoal substantially on the wound. Thereafter, you rush the person to the hospital insuring limited body movement. |
Bigii:Following all the lies and pretence Churchill and his family dish out to social media, while no one gives Tonto a listening ear because everyone believes she was the devil in the marriage. Churchill was fraudulent from the beginning. I know the mindset of many scammers. If he really cares for the upkeep of that child he knows the legal procedure to follow. But no! He feels that the mum is rich enough and so he left all the responsibilities for her. I blame Tonto sef for falling for the scam! |
I support Tonto on this! You don't just birth a child and abandon him because you feel that the mum is rich enough to cater for him. And for those thinking that the boy would look for Churchill, don't forget that we are in modern age and all cavemen mentality are going into oblivion. As long as that boy gets all the love and supports he needs from Tonto and her family, he may not even ask any question about the so called Churchill. |
dan761:Were you there when the woman confessed and died Be honest! |
yarimo:The presidential election was glaringly rigged, especially in the north! But for every unpopular losers to now claim that their mandates were stolen is laughable! |
yarimo:I don't know why this "stolen mandate" mantra amuses me so much! Every loser in this election is claiming "stolen mandate"! Lolzzz |
Lentilize:That's a very erroneous way of establishing character. Experience has taught me never to judge people by their looks because looks can be very deceptive. For instance, I have two friends with contrasting physical appearances. The first is very macho and looks aggressively dangerous while the second is slim with and an innocent handsome face. Between these two friends, I feel very comfortable with and trust the macho guy more than I trust the innocent-looking one. The macho guy is very honest and straight forward and whenever I see him angry, I need nobody to tell me that he must have been pushed beyond limits. But the innocent looking guy is what I call slow poison! The kind that would laugh with you in public while killing you in the private. So you see, it is dangerous to judge people by their looks! |
Lentilize:"Looking responsible" is different from being responsible! |
All na formats!!! Nigerians thrive on deception! So, the best deceivers carry the day. Ask the conmen we know as "men of God". |
majamajic:Were you living with them How come you now put all the blames on Tonto![]() |
A jazz that was done and accepted by the spirits could never have been found by mere mortals! The fact that the jazz was discovered by the mariners simply means that it was never potent ab initio... All na scam!!!!!! |
But Tiwa Savage no fine sha Her face ugly and her lips long. Her chest also flat with flat bombom Tiwa no sexy abeg! The only thing wey go save her na if she know how to handle a man for bed. Then her bedmatic go dey attract men to her |
igwegeorgiano:Don't mind him! Instead of him to try and reach out to Wike for political mentorship and possibly appointments, he's there claiming "stolen mandate". That is why some politicians will not make it. |
Politics is a game of interest! The senators have their own interests to protect and will not allow their parties to impose a candidate on them. So, those who think that it'll be a smooth ride for Ahmed Lawan are in for a shocker! They'll soon learn that there's a difference between executive politics and legislative politics. I'm sure the senators are not foolish! |
Lolzzz...even unpopular candidates now claim that their mandates were stolen! #My stolen mandate!# lol |
Opinedecandid:Lmao |
Please whoever knows that Shoyinka guy that did the first BBC report on codiene abuse in Nigeria should help us beg him to do another one! This is because Nigerian drug market has become filled up again with codiene and tramadol. After the first report, the international outcry it generated was able to push our reactionary government to take some action (or pretend to), but after a short while when the hue and cry died down, Nigeria has returned to status quo with our drug market now filled with codiene and tramadol while the cartel that benefit from this illicit trade now make millions from it at the expense of people's lives and sanity. Please our journalists should not rest on their oars but should continue to expose the illegalities in our drug market until the government does the right thing in putting an end to drug abuse in the country. |
RichBoy247:To hell with you! |
