nedekid: Thank you.. Op should not have out that kind of money in his friends custody to share, people react in different ways to money. Few day ago, something broke my heart. I done days back of how a paddy who's consignment of farouq petrol just landed and another ship was about to land, the guy visited me, when leaving he asked for my son's account details and wired him some heavy money, told him to take 60% and give the rest to his 2 kid sisters. Atleast I was there and heard. Omo do you know later I asked the girls if their brother gave them money and how much, he gave them 5% each total 10% instead of 40%! Omo that night I no fit sleep, my mind was turning, different thoughts going through my head as a father. Eg does it mean if person no de and he leaves heavy money or assets for him to take care of his sisters him go kolobi the whole money and not take care of them? When he gets rich will be abandon his siblings? I was just observing him, and I guess he noticed all was not well. The following day we alone in the car and I told him he fall my hand, that I was disappointed in him, he said it was easier for his sisters to get money from me than him (as him no de to ask), and that anyway he had sent them more money approximately 15% each, still 5% less that was to get to each of the sisters. I left it at that. So basically with how the country is, people's eyes are red, do not tempt anyone, if you want to send money to several people, take time to send to each yourself, do not deligate. But you made a mistake right there. As a father you should have taken your time to teach him life lessons. I would have collected all that money and distributed it to his siblings and leave him with none he won't die. He is my son and I love him that much to teach him life lessons. Greed will kill him faster than he could ever make it out there. The 10% short of the real amount of the 40% he was suppose to give his sisters after making amends is the very reason why he's not gonna get a dime. This is the boy that is suppose to take charge of your earthly wealth when you are gone and this is the boy that is suppose to look after your loved ones when you jet out of this existence so you are obligated to deprogram his excesses and program him into being more responsible leader after your kind, well that's if your moral compass is without a question. |

Angelfrost: Forget... An average Nigerian is something else.
I have travelled around and lived in at least 3 continents, and I can tell you honestly, that most Nigerians are a whole new level of greedy, wicked, and corrupt.
I no longer bother arguing this obvious fact with any so called "Defender of Nigeria's Pride".
None of you can ever be more Nigerian than I am... Or love Nigeria more than I do.
We keep insulting Tinubu and all our leaders (and yes, they deserve even far worse for being corrupt and useless)... But, we continue to ignore the unchecked rot and decay in our individual and shared value systems.
An average Nigerian is highly religious yet shockingly IMMORAL...! Yes you're absolutely right but the system made it so. Many Nigerians are mere products of the decades of failed system that has negatively impacted their consciousness and make dem given up on patriotism and all form of morality that is imbedded in our culture and religion. We have far degenerated as a people and are now on survival instinct. So an average Nigerian is just surviving with little to no hope for a better future, so when such a person sees an opportunity to escape such hellish situations he or she is currently in they won't even blink before they take a leap. It is foolish to think religion will fix the adverse effect of hunger and poverty. People will drop every sense of decorum and morality over a plate of rice with meat, that's how cheap the conscience of an average Nigerian is and how readily corrupt we all are. I honestly don't know how this can be fixed overtime. I don brainstorm tire. Maybe we will need to deprogram our collective mind which I don't know how that can be achieved. Nigeria is gone! |

ChrisIntegral: Good one Governor Bago, Your next project should be power generation to compliment with this bulk purchase. What other power generating are you on about. Do you not hear that Niger state have 4 fully functioning power generating plants and the the governor in his wisdom understand the challenges of electricity distribution in his state which inadequate transformers pose a threat to stabilised electricity in his state so he decided to buy and distribute to many communities in his stage over 600 transformers as the current ones are heavily loaded and it’s causing lots of power outbreak issues so he is fixing that and yet many ignorant folks are criticising what they have no idea about |

Or you are already looking for means to blame Peter Obi for your principals monumental failure which is inevitably gonna lead to anarchy? Come to Niger State and see how they rotate power block between geo political ethnic groups even the minority are also considered and that's why theres political peace in the state. benuejosh: The hypocrisy of some Nigerians is just out of imagination.
When the Naira was falling, the haters and evil wishers of Nigeria kept rejoicing and condemning the country and calling the leaders very bad and unprintable names. Now that the naira is appreciating against the dollar. Nobody will praise the leaders of the economy again. Some of this hatersof Nigeria just want only bad things to befall this country. Hypocrisy will not kill this country. We will continue to stand strong and become victorious.
When it is good nobody celebrates and when it is bad they rejoice. Just shush it already pls. Do you think this is the first time the Naira I'd gaining strong stride against the dollar? The problem is this gain ain't sustainable as a matter of fact it's superficial and will likely crash and worsen. So it's too early to hail the government, you are too quick to congratulating the government when it's barely even a week since this development surfaced. Let's observe till January next year before we can be sure this is near sustainable. |

If it had been proposed and initiated by previous governments as I have read somewhere, let him stop it forthwith. To early to complain. He's just stabilizing. Wait for your renewed shege. Don't mind the retards, they think israel is like Nigeria who pray on every slightest situation instead of taking actions to fix a problem. Israel ain't even a christian state, they are jewish people and judaism is their major religion and you know the law of moses, "An eye for an eye" so israel will give back a devastating blows in coming days and many innocent people will be dead. It started last month or so when I joined NL and curiously clicked into a certain link here on NL. Since then I stopped that shit. Infact, they used my number to create a strange WhatsApp group. I didn't know until someone notified me. I had to carry out another 2_step verification on my WhatsApp. It stopped afterwards only for me to experience another autocall.... calling my own number! If it repeats, I shall visit MTN office tomorrow. Just be careful with your bank cos if your bank linked sim is under their control they could easily access your bank and empty it |
