Talking from experience, it can be really difficult. Really really difficult. Many people usually advise to engage in other things; I remember in my own case some yrs ago. Even when engaging in other things, I kept losing focus. Even when playing football, you can imagine how bad it must have been. Once the ball was off my feet, my mind kept flashing back. It wasn't just about a woman, it was because trust, a fundamental component that I feel gives life a meaning, was shattered by her. My case and urs may not be 100% similar but this is what I did in my case. 1. Start going to church a bit more (yes, I dont believe in church, I know). It reduces d burden, your mind becomes lighter, and you can begin connecting with more people. Focus more on girls. 2. Try to abandon all romantic music or any music that reminds u of the past or your time with her, or her special music. Don't even argue with me, just do this. (You can resume the music yrs later when ure with someone else) 3. Convince yourself that 100% love doesn't exist. This isn't self-deceit. If you were bed-ridden, the no of ladies that will otherwise consider you for a partner will drop almost 95%. In other words, you can't find 'unconditional' love from a woman you sex. Maybe only parent-child love. 4. Drink a little, play a little, hook up with guys. Don't be in the middle of people who have blossoming relationships. Focus on personal rewards. Check for milestones. If you're saving money, ensure you have more in 3 months time. If you sell stuff, ensure your market base has grown a number of measurable percentage. 5. Try to have multiple girls chase you. This works on your esteem. You may have to do the chasing first. Do it halfway then stop, let the women take it up from there. Remember its a numbers game. The more you do, the better your chances. Don't go for oloshos bros (yes, I know many are, but don't go for full-blooded oloshos). 6. Choose the best amongst them, then start a new relationship but make it a bit loose. Don't be strict on it, don't anchor on it. At the same time respect her. Don't bore her too much about ur failed past relationship but at the same time don't make her feel special. Just respect her and do your thing. With time you'll be more level-headed and the stings of relationship hurts will reduce drastically. Your heart wil also be prepared to better handle a potential future relationship collapse. Bye. |
Staged. Ohanaeze : Government's wing arm of the East. |
emkz:Thanks bro |
It's obvious laws are not consistent in this Nigeria. On this very forum, I have seen posts of rape punishment of 2 years, 5 years, even six months. Some even go scot-free, while some pay the 'victim' some money or marry her. |
tsdarkside:Hmmn, so true. What can I say? |
coolcharm:Nigeria has no sense of purpose to be called a country. Anyone who tells you so is likely profiting off the broken system. There's not a true passion. Everyone waits for 'his turn'. |
IJEYdiamond:Imagine. Well, cant be surprised. |
No, boko haram has been "technically defeated"
|
Herbephe1:My man, what else can I say? You have said it all. |
kilonshele101:Most religions have quite an amount of goodwill, for the most part. Nonetheless I don't see any single one worth its salt. In my opinion, they're all invented. I can bash any religion I so choose to and Christianity does not escape my angst too, maybe you didnot check well. As for the time registered on NL, this is funny. I used to have an old moniker called 'kalixx'. I deactivated the account early this year (likely around January) because I discovered NL mods were biased then and they did remove front page comments at will, even if they were unprovocative. You can search for the moniker if you want and you'll see most of my words are consistent till this day but a deactivated account is lost. You'll only see me quoted and my quoted posts. Only difference was that I supported Sowore quite a bit (and that was when he was incarcerated). I will attach a few screenshots if u doubt. Thirdly, referring to my fellow Yoruba muslims is where I may have a bit of fault and I readily admit. I'm no Christian nor muslim. I'm agnostic. Formerly christian though. I do have muslim friends. But during the protest, some of my muslim friends refrained from protesting and discouraged others from doing so. Later, a few told me that it was against Islam to protest. I couldn't believe my ears. Of course I know many Muslims came out to protest but for some to use religion as excuse from voicing out made me start to watch out for what Islam is. Fourthly, I dislike Islam. I used to be indifferent before. But since 2015, (the Charlie Hebdo saga), I began to become wary. I also love to study history a lot and I have seen that both religions are just side-by-side tools used for expansion of kingdoms and territories -- usually behind the veil of crusades and jihads. Christianity is soft these times, but Islam still remains crude. Words like 'Shariah', 'Haram' irritate the living out of me! Anything that makes you have to fight for one useless god infuriates my soul and that is what core Islam is all about. Fine, I agree SW are not as fanatic as that but I beg to differ that its because of enlightenment and education that we uphold. Fulani Herdsmen, Boko Haram, ISWAP etc. kill and all proclaim so in the name of Allah. Another teacher was beheaded in France, along with 3 other killings just this past month. Islamic killings also ensued in Vienna, Austria. And pls dont let me get started on the kind of terror Islam seems to engender. With all this, I think a reasonable human earns at least a degree of right to be quite apprehensive. If eventually push comes to shove (which likely will by the look of things) , will Yoruba muslims prefer creed over blood? Lebanon was dominantly Christian until their conquer by the Ottomans. Many of the Druzes broke out from the Maronites, which were indigenous to Lebanon later sided with the Ottomans to subdue their fellow indigenous Maronites. So I think one cannot be too careful. The kwaran Yorubas seem to prefer their hausa brothers more than Yoruba christians. The fact that people like me are more vocal does not mean the next thing is to start thinking of labeling them IPOB. Focus on their behaviour more and see for yourself. And finally, I don't like Tinubu, I don't like Buhari, I despise PDP. APC makes me convulse. I hate anything Nigeria political system, Nigerian Army, Nigerian Police. Anyone who still claims 'One Nigeria' at this stage, I either see the person as idiotic or myopic. I have a soft spot for Sowore. I like Sunday Igboho, I revere Gani Adams and I adulate Nnamdi Kanu. There are also guys called Maiyegun Live and Koiki that I like and follow a lot. I believe in Oodua but I respect IPOB like mad. I don't believe in 'One Nigeria'. What's wrong? What else pls? ...

unzend:I myself included. I will never shy from the truth -- even if it appears as an insult upon me, my people or my nation. Who cares? leisuretym:They will still win. Only few southerners have time for recklessly giving birth. Quite a number of familes also keep a compact figure. Even if you do this, many of your children won't. Besides, most southerners choose to marry just 1 wife. Even southern muslims usually still keep to just 1 wife. It's a lost cause and not a really smart way to checkmate what is to come. I don't see any way around it really. We will all be Islamised eventually (maybe 200, 300 years max). SW muslims will have to step it up a gear to practice the stricter form of Islam the North practices, just like what Kwara is becoming today. Many others will flee or travel out. Lagos will likely remain the way it is due to its economic vibrancy. Just like the way U.A.E is. It will still hold allegiance to the Caliphate system however by and large, it will run on Islamic rules -- albeit soft. Only the Igbos are still who I see though that may be capable of holding their own despite the confrontation. They are an extremely stubborn people too. |
leisuretym:They will eventually, so you don't know? You can't beat them at their game. It's called population jihad. Sometimes they don't fight wars to conquer. Many times they just form parallel societies at the outskirts of the states they plan to dominate. They keep doing peasant stuff like their herding and stuffs like that but keep strategically borning. They plan it for generations. Othman Dan fodio's jihad words were made as far back as 1804, which is over 200 yrs ago but they still hold that plan dear to their heart. Then when the time finally comes, they'll overshadow your popluation and then easily consume the rest or convert you (not by force, but by fear for it'll be far easier). Enjoy una One Nigeria. I give una 40 - 50 yrs max. You go begin see the manifestation. Sheybi hopefully we go still manage gather dey.

It's too late. Most blacks act like fools. Never acting without foresight. They hardly reason like human beings. They will never be pro-active for once in their lives. They will always do everything possible to get themselves into a hole. Then begin finding solutions to extricate themselves from the hole. Just 50 yrs ago, Gowon said Nigeria had a lot of money and the only problem was how to spend it. Today, we are the poverty capital of the world, $1 is $500. We keep borrowing from China, U.S, U.A.E etc. Idiotic Nigerians will keep borning and borning and borning. When we now reach 2 billion in year 2200, then we will begin fighting wars on a massive scale or even feeding on one another. Useless subhumans! ![]() |
I'd rather believe UN's lies than Nigerian Government's truths. ...

Hisbah police is coming. Just ordinary bandit? Mcheeew. Mighty Hisbah dey come. They are still inspecting the back and the dress of their actress.

kilonshele101:The moniker didn't abuse me, but the moniker abused the plight of young Nigerians who were killed at Lekki Toll Gate. This particular moniker kept gloating and supporting the killings of southerners. She was also happy when Wike was committing genocide. So yes, u are right. The remaining is out of pure hatred. Out of pure hatred for fools, subhumans and dark minds who gloat over the killings of southerners. Anyone can form tribe superiority on NL, who cares? But anyone who supports the killings of my people, or support nonsense like Buhari, or Fulani herdsmen or even 'One Nigeria' etc., I will insult that person from head to toe, and not care. You are not the first nor the last person that will doubt my identity on this forum -- and I wouldn't move an inch proving it to u. I could also suspect ure from Chad typing this, who cares? I'm in support of the liberation of Oodua nation -- that's it! All my comments gear towards that, and of course towards justice and the need to forsake the brainwashing caused by foreign religion and all these political jumbo. Sometimes I go soft in my discourse, other times I go fierce -- and I don't mind whose ox is gored. I used to be quite a dolt before but fierce admonishment woke me up from that mental limbo. I don't mind dishing out the same thing too, depending on the audience. |
flokii:They are a backwards set of people. Extremely backwards. |
Arrewa:Sai baba. Sai bubu. Sai bobo ![]() |
ezenwajosh:They just keep playing zoo politics. Abuja is an extremely tempting mini-London to them. There, their useless political CV gets boosted, they create deep connections, enjoy prostitutes, build hotels and houses and feel serious taste of power. That's what they're mostly after. They just have scant love for their people, say maybe 10 - 20%. The remaining 80%, for themselves and their kith and kin. |
supportnija:It's not always as rosy as u think. Remember he has 4 babymamas, and 4 children to take care of. Still has a crew he pays. Body guards, plus miscellaneous expenses. Some of the shows he makes in Naira will not be enough to support that kind of lifestyle easily when having to convert a whole 500N to just paltry $1. He also never wants to fall from grace to grass. Everyone has headaches o, believe it. |
ezenwajosh:Wike is simply idiotic. Imagine a foool allowing army to eliminate his own people. The way some eastern governors reason enh? |
Yenefer:YES WE ARE PROUD AND INTELLIGENT BUT DON'T TELL US. WE DIDN'T ASK YOU. ![]() You useless Fulani mongrel paid agents think you can be coming on here to be jamming Igbo and Yoruba heads together everytime abi? Like we are that stuupid to you abi? Game over for you b********h! |
Nigeriabiafra80:Wiike is simply an idiot and a foool. Na still d same Fulani go treat hin f*ck up las las. No be even IPOB. |
MondayOsunbor:Haah! O pari. |
Lol. That was the mistake you made, oh dear. The Nigerian government and army are partly Boko Haram, don't you know? .
|
ILoveDemMANNA:ALONG WITH YOU |
princeadex4us:South is already unfortunate, baba mi. A people who do not try to evolve will be consumed and become a lost tribe. We had been sounding the gong since, break up this nonsense artificial british company called Nigeria, SW and SS were forming politically smart. Romancing their respective useless governors and chairmen, when they were busy selling our land resources and carrying out illegal mining without our knowledge, and at the same time giving free pass to Fulani herdsmen boys to ranch freely and cultivate farms. The damn worst is yet to come. Nigeria no fit contain everybody again o. ISWAP (Islamic State West Africa Province ) is here to stay. Anyone wey no wan gree, make them clear them. Cut neck, hand and breast. Sheybi some foools still dey shout 'Tinubu', 'One Nigeria', 'Strength and Unity', '2023 elections'... And with all whats happening, does anyone else still need convincing that the south will eventually bow to the North and begin to live like Afghanistan? Na all of una cause am, docile southerners. With the exception of the gallant IPOB and some SW groups (Oore Ona Kakanfo and the likes). |
No cause for alarm. ISWAP (Islamic State West Africa Province) was just preaching peace.
|
C'mon guys. It's just Islam's way of preaching their gospel of peace.
|
fabsyl:100% full support. Any muslim Biafran, with all what Biafra has suffered as a people, is an extremely stuupid foool! Although I love my Yoruba muslim bros. They're not this stupid to be Jihadists but men, as long as that book they hold supports it, I'm still wary. ![]() |
SocialJustice:Let them start to know the kind of country in which they live in. The Eastern people have been killed like this in the North for so many years but no recordings to show. Let them be more enlightened now since many of us the youth are still foot-draggers in the face of total mayhem! ![]() |
DennisEche:I sincerely hope they were among those eliminated. Good riddance it would be. ![]() |
