I used to think this way many years ago but my thinking has changed. Infact my friends then used to call me Mr Russia.

US is by far the most developed country in every aspect. This Russia you are hyping does not have the sophistication and economy of California.

Tell me one other aspect Russia can compete with the US. Tell me the innovations that has come out of Russia in recent years.

The US is evolving everyday and spending hundreds of billions into research while Russia will go to the media to brag about a missile that can reach thousands of miles away.

The fact that Russia is still largely dependent on oil and gas just like Nigeria, Angola, Saudi, Venezuela says a lot about the country. In recent years, the US has dominated the technology space. Even China can't stand them. China can only steal their intellectual property to make gadgets and sell to poor countries.

If US wants to crumble that Russia's economy today, they have what it takes. The problem is that countries like Nigeria will also be affected. All the US need to do is to flood the world market with oil. Yes, the US has lots and lots of untapped oil wells.

Most of you hating the US are just jealous. Some of you do it for religious and political reasons while some just do it as a way of sympathizing with the underdog.

US is by far the most powerful in the world.

On a lighter mood, will you select a Russia visa ahead of a US visa? grin. If no, you are a big hypocrite. cheesy
You dey mind them?!

Until America can build a space station ( yes they can't only Russians can) they are still 100 years behind Russia

cheesy

That someone is a billionaire doesn't mean that he's mentally rich

People love good things and everyone wants to get identified with a blessed mother

If she had made her success through fraudulent means and economic malpractice like Dangote did or through ritual like Otedola used Cuppy

Would they have celebrated her like they did?

Truly, success has many friends while failure is an orphan
Are you ok, sir?

Right there, people. It's fake news! They thrive on people who don't question things. Shame on the media houses carrying this.

You should see a psychiatrist. I suspect you have social difficulties and are predisposed to these feelings you mentioned. Anxiety disorder can exist on its own but it can be caused by a neurological disorder. I think you should read up on Google, take some online tests and see a psychiatrist.

Not camel. It's common for whole lambs to be served at Arab parties and even at home when an important person is visiting. This may not even be a "billionnaire wedding".

Honestly, this girl must be very troublesome and arrogant.
Daddy issues?

What next? She'll say she won't take up her husband's name.

Or she isn't going to move into his house, THEY BOUGHT A NEW HOME/HOUSE.

At first I thought she was a bit normal, but right now, I can only pity the young man that's her husband.

It is bad to have a wife [or spouse] who thinks she is in competition with you. It is even worse when you have a WIFE, who goes about running her mouth on cyberspace, telling the world that she makes the rules as she goes.

Chai! This girl will soon collect the guy's prick [which would be only thing left of his manhood] and keep in her fireproof box. O ma se o!
How does a girl not kneeling at her wedding take her husband's manhood away? There are people who don't need a kneeling wife to validate their manhood.

Its worrying how Nigeria will ever develop when the bar is set so low, and the thinking is so provincial at this moment !

How does it make sense to open a thread to say that a relatively new vehicle works as intended?

"The car drove smoothly, the ac worked and the interior was decent "

WTF did you expect to see in a new vehicle? Plywood ?

I await the day when you people would open threads to showcase the IVM consumer vehicles you've bought...instead of opening thread to tell us that an innoson bus made in 2017 is better than a 4th hand 1996 Toyota Coaster bus.
grin
Car Talk › Re: My Experience Travelling With An IVM Vehicle.. by JuanDeDios: 11:09am On Aug 21, 2018
Sunymoore:
So your boy wanted to hit Damaturu, Yobe State capital, yesterday.. I went to the park and I was shown where the vehicles going to Damaturu were.. Two vehicles were parked, a Sharon and 'Hiace hummer'. The Sharon guy was trying to convince me that, Sharon is fast, fills up quickly and balanced and Hiace guy told me the huge bags I carried along will not be charged, if I board his car. So naturally, I hopped into the Hiace and save #500..
The journey began and it was so smooth.. I looked into the car and saw balanced sit, balanced leg space and decent interior, I said to my self, Toyota really upgraded, 'may be na 2017 model we dey drive sef'.. I determined the speed of the vehicle using GPS and it was within 120-140 KM/H, what prompted me to check the speed was how we were busy dusting similar vehicles and even one Lexus Lx 450 ..
Overall, the car was stable, and the journey was smooth.. After hitting the state capital, I signaled the driver to drop me, which he did, when I was about getting my stuff from the vehicle, I saw IVM and made in Nigeria tag on car.. I was so amaze and felt proud as a black man.. I then got my stuffs and took my way..

Nigeria with 80Giga watts will surely see industrialization in our life time.

Favourable economic policies will encourage the likes IVM to triumph

Buy Naija to grow naija.. Enough said..

This should be the first.. Elect good leaders people...
Bravo!

They started biz as early as 15yrs.
Truth is our higher education is grossly over estimated and sadly we only realise that 1 month after NYSC POP.
You make a good point.

certainly, but this is NIGERIA we are talking about here, come on... if you are found with stolen goods (or suspected of it), you are guilty and/or a thief.
That's the point. Your post, the one I responded to, inputted guilt to the man. He did not suffer because he committed a crime - at least, we don't know that. He may just be an innocent man who was just doing his tailoring business when he got got.

as much as this is an unfortunate matter, if that man hadnt commit a crime, these mad cops would have focus their anger on someone else THUS his chances of being alive today would have been better.
He could have bought those wrappers not knowing they were stolen. That can happen to anyone.

Oga, I know the case. There's culpability for the confusion between using Niger and Nigeria in the same line of business.
Ok.

So following through was there any confusion about the both of them being Chemists??

It was the wrongest case to bring up. Both Dstv and Tstv are "Satellite TV" providers, so what's the confusion therehuh There's no trust issue whatsoever from the naming no matter how you want to come at it.

Let's do small simple deductive reasoning from your cited case.

Niger Chemists vs Nigeria Chemists
What was the problem, the was establish that the concurrent use of Niger and Nigeria in the same line of business could cause considerable confusion as to who the plaintiff is.

Now
Digital Satellite TV(Dstv) vs. Telecom Satellite TV (Tstv)
Oga, am even going to stop here because further justification is a waste of my time.
If you're a lawyer then be sure there's a case before encouraging people to "sue". Unless you're one of those that encourage people to take on baseless law suits to line your pockets.

All you people that watch too much suits and law and order. That's a law suit that will eventually become a waste of money. What exactly are they supposed to sue for?? What does Dstv stand for?? Do they have monopoly over the "satellite TV" name?? Is it a registered trade mark??

Haven't you heard of Fstv?? What of banks, do you know how many banks have ....... Bank of Nigeria... Shouldn't CBN sue all of themhuh
You see how one can sound intelligent and still have no pointhuh
You're the one watching too much Suits, oga. Did you read where I said it creates trust issues? I won't trust TSTV. Anyway, when you're done going off on a tangent, sounding intelligent and watching Suits, go read the Nigerian case of Niger Chemists v. Nigeria Chemists. Then come back.

Y'all cut the girl some slack.

Her complaints were justified... oga booked the ride. It was natural for her to assume it was a card trip. Since it was a cash payment, he should have told her she'd be paying once they get to her destination.

Perhaps she didn't plan for that expense incurred.

All these dates here and there. That's why these days, I do things strictly on my own terms.. if I'm not in the mood for an outing, I stay in my house, if you look like you won't be worth my time, I face my work, if I'm in no mood to spend my money, I stay in my house. Can't be having expectations of people.
I doubt she could have not planned for it since she came with an Uber which he paid for before he went on to incur other expenses.
