Foreign Affairs › Re: Nigeria, 33 Countries That Attended USA Opening Of Embassy In Jerusalem (List) by JuanDeDios: 6:39pm On May 14, 2018 |
HigherEd: The Torah, Bible and Quran all recognise Jerusalem to be Isreali. Now today's Christians whose Church Of the Holy Selpuchre is in Jerusalem and the presence of holy sites to which Jesus walked and died have refused to name Jerusalem as a Christian territory.
Yet the Muslims who were the last to come(violently) are insisting they can't have the AlAqsa Mosque in the hands of Isreal. Even when Isreal has vowed to protect the Alaqsa mosque which was built on the ruins of the Temple mount, yet out of hatred they would never want to see Jerusalem in the hands of the Jews. For a certainty if the Muslims have exclusive control of Jerusalem they would definitely kickout both the Christians and the Jews out like they did in Mecca.
It is high time the Muslims realise that Jerusalem is a city that can't be claimed by one religion. Jerusalem holds sentimental value to Judaism, Christianity and Islam but the political owners are the Jews.
And all these Intl media houses trying hard to make Isreal look bad should try harder. The remnant of the temple mount is proof that Isreal was there before anyone presently. How can a name like Hebron, Jerusalem even allude to a Palestinian territory Is Israel a Christian state? How does making Jerusalem Israeli make it a Christian territory? |

macof: u eat shit as a symbol of someone's flesh and blood. then say u don't do cannibalism so funny Even without grasping at straws, there's a lot that is wrong with Christianity and Islam. And it is good to preserve our culture. But shouldn't we weed out what is bad from our traditions if they are to truly endure? Do you think it serves our culture right if we insist on retaining aspects of them that all good people find repugnant? For example, do you think it would be cool they still killed twins in Calabar? |

So they want laws on murder and the threats you mentioned suspended when it's time for their antedelluvian traditions. |

Mynd44: From China to Japan to India, they have cultures and festivals that are cultural and you have to obey. Saying "these things are of the past" is the best way to lose your culture, tradition and identity as humans Mynd44: Take them to court for what? For saying they want to practice a festival that takes place every year?
That's like saying someone should sue the FG over Christmas This is nonsense. Restricting movement for half of the population is not like Christmas and these people aren't the government. The unsavoury practices known to be associated with Oro and Eleku aren't an aspect of our culture you should be advocating their preservation. Some of these evil practices from the past continue because educated Yorubas like you who ought to know better either acquiesce or look the other way, citing tradition, as if tradition alone is a good reason to keep anything. But maybe you can cite similar traditions from China and Japan for a start. |

coputa: If credit in Yoruba language is a criteria for admission into tertiary institutions in Lagos state, then other ethnic groups has been technically screened out.But it's unfortunate that it's the other tribes thatmade Lagos what it is today. They're not making it a criterion. They're making it an acceptable subject, meaning it can count towards your five credits. This will apply in Lagos State-owned institutions. |

kpaofame: I have not watched the video can someone who have watched the video answer these questions for me
1. What is the work(function) of a sales Rep 2. Is the BBC Reporter here underage 3. Is it a crime for a sales rep to sell product to a customer 4. Is codeine an illegal drug that cannot be sold freely I have not seen the video, but if there is a loophole that allows a product that is commonly abused, as has been reported in the press for a long time, to be sold on the streets or otherwise without prescription, that is a failure of regulation. |

Did anyone notice the driver had to take a short cut at a point - probably to help reduce their stress?
There certainly has to be a more effective way. Yea. They could have gone in escort vehicles, with one or two riding with the Supreme Leader. But maybe North Korean presidential guards are trained by Ethiopian runners. |

Most of them are probably enroute Ghana or Togo. They could be Boko Haram since their modus operandi is seen here, bombs, killing of women and children.the police can start with the bullets, could be identifiable. It's not rocket science. seguno2: Are you saying that Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are bad fathers? Rockefeller and others who gave their money to establish scholarships for blacks must also be bad parents, according to your logic. Meanwhile, the inheritance that they left to their societies ensure that their children are in top level environments while black children remain in jungles from where they risk death in the Sahara desert and Mediterranean Sea plus slavery in Libya to escape. Shortsightedness is killing blacks with their lone-star mentality. Thank you. |
