Empiree: Whats the purpose of asking?. If you go to the mosque chilling, does that look like a serious student?. Instead of asking silly questions, how about you wait until your turn?. All your questions shall be duly answered after you are shrouded. Dont you think this is the perfect answer to your question. My preference is cremation |
Christianity Etc › Re: Chilling In The Mosque by justlove91(op): 8:29pm On Mar 09, 2015 |
RoyPCain: @pneumaticos: Jesus didn't have any answer for any dead body, put in grave or otherwise. so you are falsifying statements against Jesus.
@justlove9 no one went to the mosque will be reporting what you have done above. you are asking for answer to question arose in your mind when the expert was lecturing. shouldn't be logical to ask the expert lecturer instead of exposing the fact that it is highly probably that you made this up?
my opinion now. no muslim will like to be cremated because thats is punishment by itself. no muslim wants to be food of animal because it obvious that it is a serious text or punishment. test in that it will be talk of community and no one member of that community will like it for him/herself. imagine those that are now bones. once upon a time they were young and walking on earth. if you could have asked them when they were alive if they would like to have their remains exhumed for any reason including making room for 'road', no one of them would have said its alright. again, when something that is not a thing of honor or happiness happens, the disbelievers are probably being punished by it. in the case of believers, they are going through test and their sins may actually be eliminated by it. God knows Best the Truth of each and every matter.
this is a test; Muslim getting sick. He bears it with patience and hope in Allah. this is punishment: disbeliever has the same sickness like the muslim. the disbeliever crys out why me and even say horrible things against The Almighty. if he dies on this, his condition forever will be worse and it is then that when he was alive in spite of the condition he suffered, that was his paradise.
advise to both of you and others like you is that not telling the truth about God and or giving His Rights to His creation or withdrawing His Rights from Him, there is Judgment to face and it will not be pretty. Jesus of the Bible will not suddenly get power to do anything for you. his ability as he said is 'of my own power i can do nothing'. Thanks for at least attempting the question. It seems you're of the opinion that if the bones belong to believers then the believers are being tested and if the bones belong to non Muslims, they're being punished. Is this what you mean? |

Metaphysics is very volatile, it is backgroundless, therefore material proofs of antimaterials is either false or impossible. That's why the phenomenon is called MATERIALIZATION. The cloaking of an immaterial entity with material particles to make it temporarily material. |

9jaforlife: First of all, that Iran and the west are at logger heads is not a new thing. Both of them have long standing hostilities brewing among them. So, whatever happens there will definitely have political undertone.
Secondly, religious books do not speak favourably of people who do not follow its teachings. It's not exclusively a characteristic of the Quran, the bible is guilty as well.
Also, is he trying to say that he NEVER had an idea of how the westerners were, irrespective of what he was told, before he travelled to a western country? The West is known for showing off and presenting themselves in the best way possible, even till this day some people don't believe that there's a dirty street in America. So, he never learned about Westerners through any means, never watched TV to see their news, no movies, words from travelers etc?? This was a well to do family, remember?
Finally, if the Quran calls disbelievers 'unclean', does it mean that it's talking about clean houses and clean clothes?? How dumb of him to take the word 'dirty' to mean physical appearance! You forget the fact that he was 15 then, so when he was told non Muslims are dirty he thought it was something physical. |

ARE YOU A MUSLIM? Empire asked me yesterday. I was born into a moderate Muslim family. When I was younger, my mum used to tell me that if I don't pray (kirun) she wouldn't give me food(which I like so much), she knows my weak point (that is why they're called mothers) so basically then, I was being forced to observe prayers. When I was around 14, I went to one of my Muslim friend's house and they were watching this video by an Alfa about the punishment in hell. The explicit description of hell was so horrifying to my innocent mind and I vowed from that day to observe my prayers to avoid this gruesome place called hell. I then became a very practicing Muslim even more than my parents that they're even sometimes worried about me. In my quest to move more closer to God, I joined a sect called Sufism (WIRIDI) under the umbrella of Maolana Sheik Ibrahim Niyas (TIJANIYAT). Because of this I do LASIMI in my morning and 4pm prayers, at 7pm WASIFAT and every friday evening goes to KUBURA. I was also given prayers (ASKARU) by my WASILAT Sheik Ismail which I usually wake up to do every night (TAJUUD), I make sure I finished reading at least one round of koran during ramadan(am a slow reader). Because of all these, I was much respected by my family and friends and they usually called me Alfa. Then one day, I just felt like typing "Fallibility of the Koran" on the Google search, what I saw shocked me to my bones, I read so many articles on www.wikiislam.net www.alisina.org read debates on www.faithfreedom.org which Ali Sina(owner of the website, an ex muslim) had with muslim apologists etc. The Koran I so much revere is now being painted in this grotesque way. To mitigate my shock and console myself, I searched for refutations written by Muslim apologists, but I was not satisfied with them, the errors are just overwhelming and plane. Don't think this period of my life is easy for me, the fear of hell was paramount on my mind (don't forget this same fear pushed me to be a practicing Muslim in the first place)I practically went through most of the stages listed here https://www.nairaland.com/2179781/touching-amazing-testimony-ex-muslim (maybe the reason I liked the testimony). I usually console myself with the thought that their must be rational explanations for all the errors and atrocities committed by Mohammed but alas! their was none(at least that make sense to me, you can sense Al Taqiyah and twisting of verses everywhere). I even threw some of my questions to my sheik and fellow muridi but they always want to interpret the Koran in esoteric ways (BATINI), so I gave up on them. Summarily, I finally gathered the courage to acknowledge the fact that Mohammed WROTE THE KORAN(Mohammed = Allah ), no Gabriel bringing verses, Koran was and remains figment of Mohammed's imagination, he's depiction and conception of God. But the problem remains MY PARENT MUSTN'T KNOW ABOUT THIS, at least 4 now. So to my parents and friends am still to this very moment 07/03/2015 an ALFA, but i must say I left sufism also since it is claimed to be built on koranic injunctions, and the bitter truth is KORAN IS A FRAUD (Oro pesi je!). I'm a 300L student now, so can't wait to graduate, get a job, be independent of anyone then give everyone the shock of their life. So when you hear me say am in mosque, I have no other choice, I have to pray (kirun), fast, go to jumat etc at home but in school, am free like a bird. So, empire to answer your question: am still a Muslim to my parents and friends but to me an EX MUSLIM. SO I CAN'T WAIT TO BE FINALLY COMPLETELY FREE(Though free internally but not externally yet). Their are more of me out theree, that have seen the fallacy and lie Islam is truely is but don't have the means yet to make their apostasy known. Islam is decaying from within watch out for it's fall or do you think I will bring up my children in an Islamic way NEVER!!!!!!!! Because I want my children to be good and it is IMPOSSIBLE TO BE A GOOD MUSLIM AND AT THE SAME TIME A GOOD PERSON. To Muslims out their, you just have to look at the evidence everywhere objectively, I know is pretty difficult to have your precious belief shattered, to immediately realise that all the praying, fasting, tajuud, tilawa al quran have all been for nothing, that you wasted your hard earned money when you went for Hajj in Mecca. Some of you are very vigilant and talented at spotting errors and mistakes in other religious books but when the ones in the Koran are presented to you, is like your brain hibernates or something, you can't reason logically again, you can't see. Only a stage of denial can make this possible, take the bold step beyond this and taste what it feels like to be free, to really LIVE! Will leave you with this quote: "The mind of a bigot /fanatic is like the Iris of the eyes, the more light you shed on it the more it shrinks" |

Christianity Etc › Re: What Will Happen To Those Who Didn't Hear The Gospel? by justlove91(m): 3:34pm On Mar 06, 2015 |
Pr0ton: @Ayoku777
Wow! Impressive explanation you've got there, though reveals more problems to the question at hand.
You qouted 1 Pt. 4:6 to explain how the dead have the opportunity to hear the gospel and then make a choice of either rejecting or accepting. There are problems here.
First, Eccl 9:5 says, "For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten." Clearly in that verse, a dead person is always unconscious, unable to make judgement and totally inactive. How them would they be able to hear the gospel and make decisions without making God's own words imperfect somehow?
Second, 1 Pt. 4:6 is apparently telling what Jesus did during his 3 days in hell. He preached to the dead, contradicting God's word. And no, He is not still in hell preaching. He has resurrected. And what will become of those who died after His resurrection?
Remember, "the righteousness of the righteous shall be his" This is what happens when human knowledge is being paraded as God's word, will always have gaps which can not be filled. |

9jaforlife: Hmm... That was a long read. I find the writer questionable anyway. Why would anyone live for decades among people of shared faith (Muslims in this case, including his own family) and claim that everyone (or most) of them are bad natured? Isn't it funny how he claimed that the first time he ever experienced hospitality was in Australia or so, when an old couple offered him food for free, in a clean environment. Meaning that nobody was ever that nice to him for decades in his home country? And he didn't see clean environments back home? A family that is comfortable enough to send him for schooling abroad? I would even doubt the integrity of anyone who claims that people of different faith are bad. In every religion and even among atheists, you find good and bad people. I don't know why some individuals think that they MUST bash those who hold contrary opinions just to make theirs look good. He claims that he's a smart thinker but he quotes the Quran in a less than smart way. The issue of people twisting Quran verses intentionally to denigrate Islam (or ignorantly misinterpreting them) is now boring but not outdated. Ifeann, aka parisbookaddict and some others do it so well on NL. I posted about 3 comments to point out to ignorant readers who might fall for it here
https://www.nairaland.com/9jaforlife/posts (4.48, 5.16 and 6.35 am)
Anyway, you said you're an ex-Muslim and implied that you're neither a Christian nor an atheist. That makes you a theist, a believer that God exists. Is it possible to be a theist, and yet, not belong to any religion? Just curious, no offence intended. Religion is so diversified these days that it's almost confusing Is because you don't know what it feels like to live in a Muslim country. If you read the post well, you will see that the author is an Iranian and Iran is a Muslim country, which means the author is always surrounded by Muslim telling him how "evil" non Muslims are and how dirty they are because the Koran called them dirty. So the author was surprised at the behavior of the non Muslim couple he met abroad not because nobody was nice to him before but how nice and clean they are even though they are non Muslim which is a direct contradiction to what he is been told all his life. |

In the mosque right now and chilling. The Imam is telling us about life in the grave, some of the punishments it entails before resurrection. The question that keeps going through my mind is what of those that doesn't have grave? those hunters that got eaten by wild animals, those that were cremated. Then I remembered when government wanted to extend one of the streets in my area, when they told relatives of the owner of graves along the streets to exhume the graves because they don't want to build roads on graves. We saw people opening up graves and bringing out bones, the question now is considering the fact that most of the people buried in these graves are idol worshipers, are these bones begin punished in their respective graves? |
