Frankrobbn1: @Justwise,... Can you please overturn the ban you placed on @Mcobex, he is a full-fledged and devoted member of this great platform and has assisted a great number of successful TRV applicants in securing their Visas. I wasn't happy when the news came to my desk that he was banned because of some sort of arguments flying around here lately yesterday/until now.
I sincerely plead that he should be allowed to continue contributing his quota for the goal and fulfillment of this honourable platform.
I therefore, would earnestly be looking forward to seeing him being accepted back on this thread.
Thanks! frankrobben1 Stop listening and spreading rumour. |

That is true but people are deliberately trying to mischievous by picking out only image of Funani 'herdsmen only. You will see other tribes if you look at the whole passport |

nonoski: Good day house, @ justwise et all Please i'm having some issues which i will like help on.
I applied for 5 year Visit visa for myself, Wife and 3 kids. We went for Biometerics on the 17th of June.
On the 5th of July i received email that a decision has been made.
However only 4 passports with 5 year visa was returned. The passport for my last Child who is less than 2 years is yet to be returned. I have tried logging into TLS website but it keeps giving me an error message. I'm begging to feel there's a mixup.
1. Should i be worried? Is this normal? I wanted to give it 2 extra days before i contact UKBA or TLS (don't know which to contact)
2. While filing the form, my Wife made a mistake on her form after paying so we had to fill another form, now that her visa is out what is the procedure for refund on an application ( the old application with mistake ) 1. That is normal, if you did not hear from them after a week then contact them. 2. Check TLS website for a process of requesting for a refund |

opetope: Good day Mr justwise, please help me review the following budget. My wife and two kids (12 and 9 years old) is about to apply for 6 months UK tourist visa.
My wife is working with a disposable monthly income of N440,000
BUDGET BREAKDOWN FOR 3 PEOPLE Flight (Economy return) - £1,100.00 Accommodation (13 nights)- £806.00 Feeding - £200.00 Transportation - £120.00 Tourism - £120.00 Miscellaneous - £50.00 Total - £2,396.00 (N1,081,640.00)
The total is like 200k above 2 times my wife's disposable income. My question is can she indicate that her husband will support part of the expenses by indicating the difference (200k) as what I (the husband) will be adding to the money. If yes, what document will I need to provide to back my support. Please note I will not be travelling with them. opetope: My wife's monthly salary is N474,000 while my own monthly salary is 335,000 Both of you should share the sponsorship as you both earn well, |

tolikes: Good day Justwise & other gurus in the house. I intend to apply for UK Visit Visa for myself, wife & 4 year old son in December. This will be our 2nd time applying as a family, as we were refused visa in 2016 for financial reasons. I had a closing balance of 750k & I proposed to spend 1m on the trip. After going through this thread, I understand now that the refusal was justified. I need second opinions & advice from this house as I reapply.
I am gainfully employed (I receive 467k) monthly & my wife, son & my dad depend on me. My monthly expenses average 290k. I presently have in my gtb account about 420k & 1.2m in my sterling bank account. My salary account is Access & I usually move all the money to my gtb, immediately my salary comes in, from where I make all transactions & save the balance to my sterling bank. My wife is self employed & has a registered business where she deals on bakery ingredients & accessories. My brother in the UK, a british citizen, will take care of our feeding & accommodation while I shall solely be responsible for other expenses. We shall be spending 10 days.
Financials I intend to submit my 3 bank statements with the following opening balances; Sterling - 1,013,000 GTB - 687,000 Access - 475,000
I envisage to have a closing balance in my sterling account of #2.2m & say 300k in my GTB account at the time of applying.
Expenses I estimate to spend #852,285.20 on the trip (flight tickets, access fees to places of attraction & maybe bus passes).
I intend to submit my employment details (employment, confirmation, promotion & company introduction letters, Payslips, ID cards, TCCs) Wife's coy CAC registration(am also a director here), coy & personal bank statements, sales invoices) - to show her strong ties to naija. I shall also attach my land property docs as well as the usual documents (including cover letter & invitation letter).
So my people, I need your opinions, observations & advice, most especially on gaps that may not be visible to me.
I look forward to your responses. Your salary is good but your monthly outgoing is the issue here but with your wife's contribution it will be an advantage |

BlackRevolution: Greetings to all the Gurus in house. Please I want to apply for UK visa for a conference in August 23rd. The organizers are going to take care of my flights and accommodation. Is it wise for me to apply judging that today is July 8th? Will it be possible to get a decision before August 23rd? If not, is there a way I can apply for a quicker decision before August 23rd? Gratitude to the house. You have to apply for super priority service and decision about your application will be made within 2-3 days but it will cost you almost £1000 in addition to visa fees. |

akari01 : @justwise, Except there’s more gist or deleted discussions, nothing suggested moving a thread out of here. Infact the more i thought of it, the more it makes sense to have something like that of the Indians specifically for skilled migration, instead of us going to their websites for ‘sorted’ info. Think about it, it will work well for NL, cos the traffic gets generated here first, if you are open to it. Also, know that Nobody holds the monopoly to ideas, esp in this age. And the way this matter has been handled may actually drive the traffic outta here, if the people who are major contributors are banned, reason this thing well o. Na the people wey dey generate the traffic you dey ban so o. . Alphadoor: Hi Aussie Fam, With support from the chief himself , Sir bellong, There is a proposal to move this thread away from NL to an independent forum.
This will enable us interact better and track posts effectively. Feature will include but not limited to
-better tracking of each NOC information. -categorisation of each subject matter -Easy navigation for new comers -Archivable content. -Avoid repetition of same issue over and over again, we can have "how to sections" for most used assessing bodies. -profile progress tracking -ITA dates countdown. - ......and so much more.
This site will require all our effects to thrive as a community and this will require commitments from some users to acts as mods and supermods and champions I have to warn that this new community will not be a walk in the park but it will be an interesting walk for us all.
Suggestion for site new is needed. Volunteer for Mods, Supermods, and champions (People with vast knowledge of a particular assessing authority)
The idea is to have a platform like [url]www.migrati.. that will be information rich
Please note that nothing has been concluded or decided yet. this is just an idea for us to consider |

gibsonwales: A friend of mine will be traveling to UK on a visiting VISA (6months validity). He has a cousin in London who is living there LEGALLY (work and resident permit). His cousin told him the main thing is they grant him VISA and leave the rest to him to handle that he won't return to Nigeria. His cousin told him to learn a skill like photography, barbing, tailoring e.t.c in Nigeria before he comes over, so that he can manage that before he settles down finally because he's not eligible to work with a visiting VISA. He said it won't be rosy at first, but if he can be patient enough, everything will fall in place and he'll get his work and resident permit later. My friend's cousin in London talked about getting married to a citizen of UK (later later) and she'll be the one to file for him to get a work and resident permit. I just want to ask, can it work out like that ? No it doesn't work like that and your friend's cousin is clueless. Your friend will never get a work permit in the UK only if the rule changes tomorrow, he must come back to Nigeria to apply for spouse visa if he married a citizen then the issue of overstay will catch up with him. |

Soleye24: Come back to Nigeria if Dubia is hard. Am sure people told u the same u are telling them now but u still left. Am cork sure that u haven't sent 3 years there and lamentations have been on uae for few years now. Stop being an hypocrite, u ain't their creator, our destinies are different. What u are destined to fail in some are destined to be super successful. Ur failure is not their failure. Understand that fact about life. My advice to prospective travellers is to be very prayerful. When u call him sincerely, he will prove all mockers and those waiting for ur doom wrong. You want him to lie about the situation there? Sometimes we Nigerians hate to hear the truth especially when it comes to traveling abroad. A week ago I visited Madrid and as we are driving around I saw some Africans selling pocket tissues by traffic, the sun is 40 degrees and I'm wondering how can anyone survive with this? Obviously they are illegal immigrants trying to survive as much as they can, if you asked such persons about coming to Spanish with visiting visa to hustle and he tells you not to try it, your next question will be why are you still there if Spain is hard? People don't want others to make the same mistake they made. |

fatima04: Moving the thread out of NL was raised back then in part 1 and shutdown by numerous people because of obvious reasons and also for future applicants to gain info.
I believe despite so many threads on NL (not only Australia PR) creating WhatsApp groups for different purposes it has never affected the group participation and all, many of us refresh this page daily and contribute when we can.
Sometimes judging posts in isolation is not ideal, my own case in point where someone has challenged me my post on here because of my affiliations with other threads.
Please let us move on from this issue so that we can progress forward as a group.
N.B:that post was 2years ago I believe, if it was actually a serious effort or innovation, then this crisis as at hand may bot even occur It does very much because it diverts traffic off this thread/section and the thread struggles to grow. Many threads in this section takes about 6months to hit 500 + pages but this one and many others with this whatsapp group issues take more than a year to get to even 200 pages. Only 4 threads in front page of this section are pinned, the rest stay up purely because of traffic they generate and this particular thread hardly stay in front page of this section |
